Everett/Revere won twice in the South. Russo scored twice and Thomas, who also had an assist, scored what turned out to be the winner with 5:51 left in a 3-2 decision over SMS – and No. 15’s second goal of the game, with 1:22 left, gave E/R a 3-2 win over Needham;
Bradley Esposito and Nick Genese both scored twice, Devin Melly had two assists and Nicky Jones pitched a shutout in Reading’s 5-0 triumph over Brookline; Ben Richard scored two goals in 1:17 early in the third period and Logan Stogryn assisted on both as Maples got by Andover 3-1; and John Willar ended the Alex Nazarian/Declan Ginty shutout bid with 3:14 left as the Railers tied Andover 1-1 – Tim Boese with a second-period tally for Andover.
Melrose had a win and a tie in the East. Drew Hebert tied the game with a goal with 8:46 left and Dan Ferris, who also had an assist, then came through with 2:48 remaining to give Melrose a 3-2 decision over Parkway – and Kyle Hayes, who assisted on the first goal, scored with 1:11 left to give Melrose a 2-2 tie with NH East;
Ben Schaffer scored with 59 seconds left to give Nashoba a 4-3 decision over North Andover -- Nathan LoConte with a goal and an assist in the win and Pat Nugent two goals and Jaycek Gosselin 1-1-2 in the loss; Chris Verdolino scored twice and Zach Menard pitched a shutout as the Railers defeated Acton-Boxboro 4-0; Mike Houssan scored two goals in 2:11 in the second period and Bobby Williams then scored the goal that proved to be the winner with 39 seconds left in the period as the Revs edged Concord-Carlisle 4-3 – Henry Morgan with two goals and Nathan Pletta 1-1-2 in the loss; Dylan Gaudreau scored with 6:11 left to give Twin City a 2-1 decision over NH East; and Jerry O’Neill, who also had an assist, capped a hat trick with 1:31 remaining to give Dorchester a 5-5 tie with Waltham – Sonny McColgan with 1-1-2 for Dorchester and Jack O’Brien two goals and an assist and Ben Hamilton 1-1-2 for Waltham.

Josh Blalock scored twice, Kyle Leporati and Derek Morris both had a goal and an assist and Josh Thompson two assists as the Leafs topped Triboro 5-1 – and Deegan Atkinson pitched a shutout and Vincent Giroux scored twice in a 3-0 triumph over Somerville; Neil Keltcher scored two goals and set up another and Alex Corbett had 1-1-2 as Lexington/Bedford nipped Methuen 5-3, Keegan Doherty with two goals in the loss – and Andrew Scoville wore the hat and added an assist and Praynay Shah, Matteo Dean and Corbett all had two assists in a 7-0 victory over Natick;
Danny Brightman started the rally with 9:40 left, Anais Pite followed with 4:40 remaining and Tim Jones then scored with 3:29 left – No. 40 assisting on two of the goals – as Somerville charged back for a 3-3 tie with Framingham; McInerney scored one goal and handed out three assists and McStravick wore the hat in Wellesley’s 5-2 victory over Belmont; Graham Henrich’s second goal of the game, with 3:48 left, turned out to be the winner and Mike Boyer had two assists as Natick trimmed Haverhill 4-2; James Guide’s second goal of the game, with 7:27 was the winner as Methuen edged Wilmington 2-1; and Chaplin wore the hat and Gramer had a goal and an assist as Parkway defeated Haverhill 4-2 – Jack Lancaster with a goal and an assist in the loss.
