Midgets Week Ending Mar. 18

Woburn I and Stoneham both won twice in the final week of the regular season. Chris Sweeney wore the hat, Gordie MacNevin, Sean Donohoe and Ben Turner all had a goal and two assists and Anthony Privitera three assists in Woburn’s 8-6 victory over the Railers – and Robert McCabe’s second goal of the game, with 27 seconds left, gave Woburn a 3-2 decision over Natick; Dante scored twice, Vallessio had a goal and an assist and Butler pitched the shutout in Stoneham’s 6-0 win over Shrewsbury II – and Barry wore the hat and handed out three assists and McDonald and Soucy both posted two assists in an 8-1 triumph over the same team;

 

Justin Delmonico was in goal for North Andover in a 0-0 tie with the Edge; Ben Ashworth wore the hat, Aiden Foley scored twice and Eamonn McLean had a goal and an assists as Andover trimmed Natick 6-4; Dave Simonds scored with 1:17 left to give Chelmsford a 3-2 decision over Worcester – No. 15 with 1-1-2 in the loss; Wellesley edged Shrewsbury I 4-3; Damion Baradona wore the hat and had an assist and Shaun Plouffe posted 1-1-2 as the Edge topped North Andover 5-0; Lynch scored twice and Dennis had two assists as Shrewsbury III nipped Stoneham 5-4 – Kyle Barry with two goals in the loss; Drew McCarthy wore the hat and Josh Houle scored twice as Shrewsbury I topped Wellesley 6-2; and Dave Peterson had 2-1-3 and Mike Santullo also scored twice as Woburn II defeated Chelmsford 6-1.
