ELITE

 

Winchester won twice and Waltham had a win and a tie. Angelo Mario wore the hat and Mike Santonelli had a goal and two assists in Winchester’s 5-4 decision over Arlington, Collin Shea with two goals in the loss – and Charlie Ladd and Mario both posted a goal and an assist and Sam McDonald had two assists in a 5-3 triumph over Arlington; Ryland Thomas scored two goals and set up two others, Kevin Dann also had two assists and Jack Perry pitched a shutout in Waltham’s 4-0 victory over Reading – and Jimmy McCarron scored with 6:32 left to give Wilmington a 1-1 tie with Waltham, Michael Bean scoring for Waltham in the second period;

 

Charles Henry Watson pitched a shutout and Montgomery Leclerc had a goal and an assist as Maine downed Wilmington 2-0; Jack Gerstein wore the hat, Nick Miceli had a goal and two assists, Alex Edwards also posted two assists and Raffi Bauer pitched a shutout in Natick’s 5-0 victory over Maine; and Terry Morrissey set up two goals and Pat Flanagan scored what turned out to be the winner in the second period as Andover trimmed Natick 3-1.

 

AAA

 

Dorchester won twice and Wakefield and Belmont both won a game and tied each other. Lee had 1-1-2 as Dorchester trimmed South Boston 4-2, Ryan with both goals in the loss – and John Lynch scored the winner with 9:04 left, Sean McDougall posted 1-1-2 and Sean Hobbs had two assists in a 4-3 victory over Marblehead, Chris Locke with two goals and Connor Kelley two assists in the loss; Dubiel pitched a shutout and Domingo scored with 38 seconds left in Wakefield’s 2-0 victory over South Boston; Matt Rowan scored two late goals, the second with 13 seconds left, to give Belmont a 3-2 decision over Somerville – and Rowan scored the tying goal late in the second period as Belmont tied Wakefield 2-2, Caleb Birchem with assists on both goals for Wakefield;

 

Nick Burns scored with 38 seconds left to give Chelmsford a 5-4 decision over the Railers – John Nickerson with a hat trick and an assist in the win and Cam Gibbons two goals in the loss; and Will Piett’s second goal of the game, with 5:37 left, gave Triboro a 3-2 decision over Chelmsford.

Joe Bermingham snapped a 1-1 tie with 6:29 left in the second period as Concord-Carlisle trimmed Stoneham 3-1; Derek Papalardo scored the winner with 2:59 left and No. 7 had 1-1-2 as Haverhill/Pentucket nipped Stoneham 4-2 – Emma Skafas with 1-1-2 in the loss; Jimmy Ayers scored twice in Agawam’s 5-1 victory over Cape Ann; and Braeden Peterson had 1-1-2 as Framingham downed Cambridge 3-1.

 

Andover wore a pair of ties in the South. Will Moriarty, who also had an assist, scored with 22 seconds left to give Andover a 3-3 tie with North Reading, Griffin Littlewood also with 1-1-2 for Andover and Cole Lopilato (one assist) and Jake Needham scoring 14 seconds apart early in the third period – and Aidan Magner capped a hat trick with 2:08 left to give Andover a 5-5 tie with Methuen, Moriarty with two goals for Andover and Jackson Petisce a pair for Methuen;

 

Tyler Forristal scored the winner with 2:25 left, Anthony Papa had 2-1-3 and Dom Hall 1-1-2 as Billerica edged Nashoba 4-3; Gervais scored twice in the first period, Sherman had two assists and Hawkes scored what turned out to be the winner in the second period as Brookline nipped Needham 4-3; Connor Carreiro pitched a shutout and Cris Klein scored 22 seconds into the game as Medford topped Lexington/Bedford 3-0; Ian Russo scored with 9:30 left to give Newton a 1-1 tie with Melrose – Nick Trembly with a second-period goal for Melrose; and Brendan Currie wore the hat and had an assist and Austin Annunziata had 1-2-3 as Everett/Revere defeated Dedham 7-1.

 

In the East, Dylan Alves and Drew Fessenden both had a goal and an assist and Jimmy O’Connell pitched a shutout in Beverly’s 5-0 victory over Wakefield; Liam Martin clicked for two goals and two assists, Ean Malay posted 2-1-3, Mike Anderson also scored twice and Henry Fraser pitched a shutout in NH East’s 7-0 win over Amesbury; Matt Montoya scored the winner with 3:28 left in the second period as Shrewsbury edged Acton-Boxboro 2-1; Jacob Goodwin wore the hat and Luc Riendeau had two assists as the Railers topped Arlington 6-3 – Chris Olsen with two goals in the loss; and Scott Baia pitched a shutout and Ryan Swift had two assists in Framingham’s 3-0 triumph over Newton.

 

Andover won twice and the Railers had a win and a tie in the West. Jake Sullivan and Max Todisco both had a goal and an assist in Andover’s 4-1 victory over Reading – and Kyran Maher posted 2-1-3, Sullivan had two assists and Liam Blake pitched a shutout in a 5-0 win over Chelmsford;  Tanner Matztall had 1-2-3 and Jaden Neff scored twice as the Railers topped the Demons 5-2 – and Mikelis Tums scored the tying goal with 38 seconds left in the second period as SMS tied the Railers 3-3, Nick Michaelian with a go-ahead goal 28 seconds before Tums scored;

 

Steve DiFilippo pitched a shutout and Rich Guarino scored twice as Masco topped Triton 3-0; and Ben Guertin pitched a shutout and Ryan Frasca scored twice as Haverhill/Pentucket trimmed Reading 3-0.

Burlington and Nashoba both won twice in the North, Connor McCabe and Tom Sampson both scored twice and Billy Flett had a goal and an assist in Burlington’s 7-2 victory over Lynnfield/Saugus, No. 2 with 1-1-2 in the loss – and Ricky Shepard wore the hat and had an assist in a 7-3 triumph over Lynnfield/Saugus; Koree Benning snapped a 1-1 tie with 5:26 left and Rowan Archibald had 1-1-2 in Nashoba’s 3-1 victory over the Leafs – and Benning and David MacLure both scored twice and Ryan Moran came within 3:54 of a shutout in a 6-1 win over Natick;

 

Corey Girouard scored twice as Groton defeated Maine 4-2 – Roman Crossetti with 1-1-2 in the loss; Nicholas scored with nine seconds left to give Somerville a 2-1 decision over Dorchester; Aiden Donovan, who also had an assist, scored with 57 seconds left to give Agawam a 2-2 tie with Everett/Revere; Jake Clifford scored the winner 30 seconds into the third period and Pete Spylios assisted on both goals in Twin City’s 2-1 decision over S. Maine; Matt Ursino clicked for 2-1-3 and Kenneth Nichol had 1-2-3 in Lexington/Bedford’s 7-4 victory over Winthrop – Robert Diaz with 2-2-4 and John Giorgio 1-1-2 in the loss; Robert Phelan, who also had an assist, scored the winner with 3:11 left as S. Maine edged North Central – Robert Fothergill and Dante Reali with 1-1-2 apiece in the win and Robert Brogan 1-1-2 in the loss; and Aiden Cornetta capped a hat trick with 5:01 left to give Cape Ann a 3-3 tie with Marblehead – Nick Granata with two goals and Drake Wyman 1-1-2 for Marblehead.

 

The Starhawks had a win and a tie in the West. No. 88 wore the hat in a 4-1 win over Allston/Brighton – and No. 24 scored with nine seconds left to give the Starhawks a 2-2 tie with the Railers;

 

Ryan McInnis and Ethan Gaffney scored 47 seconds apart early in the second period as the Edge nipped S&S 2-1; Will tenHope scored what turned out to be the winner in the second period as Beverly edged Hollis 2-1; Steve DiFilippo pitched a shutout and Josh Batchelor scored in the first period as Masco defeated Wakefield 3-0; Anthony Pascale had two assists and Will Yearick pitched a shutout in Triboro’s 4-0 victory over Allston/Brighton; Nolan Maul’s second goal of the game, with 6:26 left, completed a comeback from three goals down and gave Wellesley a 5-4 decision over South Boston; and Bobby Spence dished out three assists and Jack Hauptman had a goal and an assist in Medfield’s 5-3 win over the Railers.

 

Winchester won twice behind a pair of 2-0 shutouts over Needham by Ryan Hayes, Tucker Martin scoring in the second period of one win – and Martin doing the same thing against the same team in the other;

 

Andrew Janowski wore the hat and had an assist as Brookline defeated Concord-Carlisle 4-2; Eve Stone and Jason Paganis shared the shutout, Dylan Flynn scored two goals in 26 seconds early in the second period as Billerica topped Wilmington 3-0; Jared Spear, Josh Lewis and Luke Caruso all clicked for 1-1-2 as Danvers defeated Woburn 4-1; Ryan Corsetti had 2-1-3, Dan Kirchner also scored twice and Dom Frisoli and Jon Henry Dumont both posted 1-1-2 in Arlington’s 7-3 victory over Brookline – Charlie Zuker with two goals and Janowski two assists in the loss; Wyatt James scored two goals in 46 seconds, Jack Daly and No. 74 both had 1-1-2 and Liam Brown pitched a shutout in Concord-Carlisle’s 5-0 win over Shrewsbury; Colin Grimley had 1-2-3, Cody Incupera scored twice and Lukas Kulbis-Marino pitched a shutout in Methuen’s 5-0 triumph over Stoneham; and Anthony Grace scored with 49 seconds left to give Greater Lowell a 5-3 decision over Melrose – Ryan Frazier and No. 16 with 1-1-2 apiece in the win.

 

Newton had a win and a tie in the West. Paul Kazarosian scored two goals and set up another and William Drake also scored twice in a 5-2 victory over Cambridge – Ruggero Botto with a goal and an assist in the loss – and No.16, who also had an assist, scored the tying goal with 2:20 left and No. 13 had two assists as Belmont tied Newton 3-3, Andrew Cerone with two goals for Newton;

 

Christian Patjane scored twice and Aidan Hanson had a goal and an assist in Hyde Park’s 6-4 win over Dorchester – Connor Nee with a hat trick and Tom Flaherty two assists in the loss; Matt Elwell had 1-1-2 as Wakefield trimmed Newton 5-3; Dean Blake’s second goal of the game, with 1:26 left, gave Nashoba a 3-3 tie with NH East – Mark Lucca with a go-ahead goal for NHE 14 seconds before Blake re-tied it and William Thompson had 1-1-2 for NHE; Jared Shreenan scored the winner in the second period as Tewksbury edged North Andover 2-1; Anthony Lioce and Rider both scored their second goals of the game 59 seconds apart early in the third period as the Starhawks edged the Leafs 6-5 – Rocco Postizzi with 1-1-2 in the win and Cameron Lee two goals and an assist in the loss; and LeBlanc scored two goals and set up another to lead Acton-Boxboro to an 8-4 victory over the Leafs – Ryan McKeown with two goals and Lee a goal and an assist in the loss.
