This week we turn our attention to the 2009 Middlesex All-Stars vs. North Shore All-Stars. Finding themselves down 2 goals quickly, Coach Bill Pepicelli made a goaltending change and put in young John Stratakias. Facing an onslaught of shots, John was pivotal in Middlesex’s strong come back. When asked about John’s performance, coach Bill Pepicelli said, “He played the best game of his life, playing 42 minutes, turning away all shots for a personal shut out and leading his team to a 8 to 2 victory! The kid answered the bell".  Congratulations to John Stratakias on being named this weeks “Player of the week”!

Defensively, MDX played outstanding and rallied together under the leadership of defensemen Chris Di Placido who has been a force all season blocking shots and making strong hockey plays on both sides of the puck. Congratulations to Chris on receiving “Honorable Mention”!
