Tom McShane scored twice, Jack Farrell and Tom Sacco both had a goal and an assist, R.J. Kavey had two assists and Casey Williams pitched a shutout in Waltham’s 6-0 win over Lynnfield/Saugus; Morse scored two goals in 1:15, Mercuri had a goal and an assist and Nelson two assists in Greater Lowell’s 3-2 decision over Andover; and Fecteau delivered two goals and an assist, Gilbert had a goal and two helpers and Russell a goal and an assist as Arlington downed Concord 4-1.
Christian Mattaliano scored two goals in 46 seconds late in a three-goal first period that sent Wellesley past Lexington/Bedford 3-2; Josh Bradley and Wesley Rollins shared the shutout and Andrew Johnson scored with 5:28 left as Triton edged NH East 1-0; J.P. Sullivan clicked for two goals and an assist and Ben Costa scored what turned out to be the winner 59 seconds into the third period as Reading edged Acton-Boxboro 3-2; Anthony Dempsey scored his second goal of the game with 2:29 left and John Yerardi followed with 56 seconds remaining as Framingham pulled out a 4-4 tie with Winchester – Jake Kaveney with 1-1-2 for Framingham and McDonald two goals and Porecha two assists for Winchester; Annunziata scored with one second left to give Everett/Revere a 2-1 decision over Wakefield ; and Jack Aborn scored with 44 seconds left to give Reading a 2-2 tie with Billerica.
Needham won twice and Medfield posted a win and a tie in the North. Jimmy Bonasia pitched a shutout in Needham’s 3-0 victory over Belmont – and Needham downed Belmont 6-1; Driscoll’s second goal of the game, with 5:13 left, gave Medfield a 3-2 decision over Triboro – and Driscoll scored with 2:33 left and then came through again with nine seconds remaining to give Medfield a 4-4 tie with Triboro, Braden Deckkers with a hat trick and Andrew D’Angelo two assists for Triboro;
Jeff Tavares pitched a shutout and William Chase had a goal and an assist as Natick downed Parkway 3-0; Matt Preston scored twice, Cam Rager had 1-1-2 and Aidan Goulding pitched a shutout as Stoneham/North Reading downed Chelmsford 4-0; Max Vieira scored all four goals in cape Ann’s 4-2 victory over Tewksbury – Ryan Flynn with 1-1-2 in the loss; Justin Torosian’s second goal of the third period, with 2:33 left, gave Haverhill/Pentucket a 2-1 decision over Marblehead; Cam Cook clicked for 2-2-4 and DJ Bachini wore the hat in Beverly’s 6-3 win over Cape Ann – Vieira with two assists in the loss; and the Railers edged Hyde Park 4-3.
Andover and Somerville both won twice and Woburn had a win and a tie in the South. Charlie Rainville came within one second of a shutout and Pete Elliott had a goal and an assist as Andover trimmed Twin City 3-1 – and Andover downed Nashoba 4-1; Gaskin scored the winner with a minute left and Gaskin and Jones both posted 2-1-3 as Somerville trimmed Medford 5-3, Justin Giglio with two goals in the loss – and Nos. 19 and 8 both scored twice in a 5-2 triumph over Melrose; Defeo, who also had two assist, scored the winner with 9:45 left and Welch scored twice as Woburn edged Masco 3-2 – and Zach Engalls scored the tying goal in the second period as Melrose tied Woburn 3-3, Defeo with 1-2-3 and Leydon two goals for Woburn;
AJ Mills’ second goal of the game, with 5:32 left, turned out to be the winner as Twin City nipped North Andover 4-3 – Nolan Locke with two assists in the loss; Jamie Weyerhaeuser scored with 22 seconds left to give Cambridge a 3-3 tie with Medford, which got 1-1-2 from Dom Mustone; and Joe Young scored with 7.5 seconds left to give Masco a 2-1 decision over Cambridge.
Winchester won twice and NH East and Haverhill/Pentucket both wore a pair of ties, one against each other, in the East. Matt Collins scored twice in the second period as Winchester trimmed Concord 3-1 – and Shawn Casey and Joe Napolitano scored 61 seconds apart in the second period of a 3-2 decision over Reading; Jonathan McDonald scored with two-tenths of a second left to give Concord a 3-3 tie with NH East, Sam Foulds with two goals for Concord and Anthony Pompeo 2-1-3 for NHE; Jeremy Conlin scored with 5:01 left to give Amesbury a 1-1 tie with Haverhill/Pentucket, which got a second-period goal from Tanner Ciano – and Tyler Brooks, who also had an assist, scored with 8:05 left and Finn Bussiere then came through with 40 seconds remaining to give NH East a 3-3 tie with Haverhill/Pentucket, Pompeo with a goal and two assists for NHE;
In the other game, Matty Ryle scored twice and Deven Dunlop scored one goal and set up another as Dorchester topped Arlington 4-1.
Lynn won twice in the West. Lariviere scored what turned out to be the winner with 2:08 left in a 3-2 decision over Parkway – and Lariviere had two goals and an assist, Ryan posted 1-12 and Benson came within 1:49 of a shutout in a 4-1 victory over Medford;
In the other game, Parkway edged Concord 4-3.
Brookline, the Demons and Triboro all won twice and Billerica had a win and a tie in the North. Stephan MacDougall scored twice in Brookline’s 7-2 win over Waltham – and Andrew Cohen scored twice, James Redding and Jacob Noe both posted 1-1-2 and Max Luby had two assists in an 8-1 triumph over Dorchester; Derek Crowe scored twice in the third period and James Armes and Gannon MacLachlan both had two assists as the Demons trimmed Wilmington 4-2, Cam Gagnon with both goals in the loss – and Max Santiago pitched a shutout and George Gabriel scored twice in a 3-0 win over North Central; Nolan Yusikones wore the hat and had two assists and Max Sullivan clicked for two goals and two helpers in Triboro’s 5-1 victory over the Leafs – and Sullivan scored four goals and set up another in a 6-1 win over the Revs; Luke Matarazzo scored two goals in 1:04 late in the second period as Billerica edged the Revs 3-2 – and Connor Hodgkins scored with 5:22 left and Max Howard then came through with 16.9 seconds remaining to give the Railers a 2-2 tie with Billerica, John Moran with assists on both goals for Billerica;
James Brideau wore the hat and Logan Favart had two assists in North Central’s 4-2 win over Andover; Matt Pomer, who also had an assist, scored what turned out to be the winner with 11 seconds left in the second period and Mike Pomer posted 1-2-3 as Belmont edged Southern Maine 3-2 – Dante reali with 1-1-2 in the loss; Cadence Howard posted 1-1-2 and Porter Krause pitched a shutout as S. Maine topped Burlington 4-0; and Burlington defeated Hyde Park 4-1.
Triton and Beverly both won twice in the South. Tim Carter scored five goals and set up another, Nate Ewell posted 2-1-3, Andrew Doherty had 1-1-2, Matt Sheehan posted two assists and Evan Piscatelli came within four-tenths of a second of a shutout in Triton’s 9-1 victory over Nashoba – and Carter wore the hat and Owen Bell and Griffin White both scored twice in a 7-1 triumph over the Edge; Ryan Avila pitched a pair of shutouts for Beverly, as Kyle Fowler wore a natural hat in the third period and Zach McDonald had two assists in a 7-0 victory over Lynnfield/Saugus – and Mike Burns scored twice and No. 19 had 1-1-2 in a 5-0 win over Natick;
Derek Budrow scored twice and Derek Ellms tallied what turned out to be the winner with 8:41 left as Cape Ann downed S&S 4-2; Josh Batchelder delivered two goals and an assist in Masco’s 3-2 decision over the Edge – Nathan Smith with 1-1-2 in the loss; Crasco scored with 20 seconds left to give Everett/Revere a 5-4 decision over Allston/Brighton – Demarco with 2-1-3 and Swenson 1-1-2 in the win and Lucas Goncalves 2-1-3 and Declan Smyth 1-1-2 in the loss; and Colin Underwood scored one goal and handed out three assists, Tom Woodlock wore the hat and Mike Desmarais had 2-1-3 in Greater Lowell’s 7-4 victory over SMS – Matt Marimon with two goals in the loss.
Medford had a win and a tie in the East. Andrew Watson scored twice in a 3-1 victory over Woburn – and Watson ended Larkin’s shutout with 2:45 left to give Medford a 1-1 tie with Somerville;
Tom Sampson scored four goals in Burlington’s 5-2 victory over Winthrop; Sam Malone scored the winner with 5:09 left and Anthony Angiuoni had a goal and two assists as Tewksbury edged Andover 3-2 – Steve Williams with 1-1-2 in the loss; Ryan Crosby’s second goal of the game, with 7:18 left, turned out to be the winner and Noah Santucci had two assists as Reading nipped NH East 3-2 – Cam Larcome with assists on both goals in the loss; Cole Ventre clicked for 2-2-4 and Max Howard had 1-2-3 in North Andover’s 5-2 victory over Concord; Silvestro Maniscalco scored the winner in the second period as Wakefield trimmed Haverhill/Pentucket 2-0; Sean Hogan had 1-1-2 in Wakefield’s 5-1 win over Tewksbury; Colby Dunham scored four goals and set up another and Ben Prentiss also wore a hat as Danvers topped Billerica 7-2; Anthony Pascual had 1-2-3 as Arlington timed Woburn 3-1; Zach Zawalich clicked for 1-2-3, Pat Prudhomme scored twice, Tyler Gilfoy had 1-1-2 and Josh Carignan pitched a shutout as the Railers stopped Lexington/Bedford 6-0; Boni, who also had an assist, capped a hat trick with four seconds left to give Needham a 5-4 decision over Winthrop—Hurley with 2-1-3 and Faretra two assists in the loss; Medfield topped Wellesley 4-1; and Carbo scored twice, No. 10 posted 1-1-2 and Wells had two assists as Stoneham/North Reading defeated Winchester 6-0.
The Leafs won twice in the West. Josh Blalock scored five goals and Ryan McEvoy had two assists in a 6-3 victory over Framingham – and Jack Kilmartin scored with 54 seconds left to give the Leafs a 2-1 decision over Twin City;
Sean McCobb scored with 3:19 left to give Medford a 4-4 tie with Newton – Paul Kazarosian with two goals and an assist for Newton; Nick Holman ended Josh Levine’s shutout bid with 2:28 left to give Framingham a 1-1 tie with Waltham – CJ Winchenbaugh with a goal early in the second period for Waltham; Ben Megan scored with 33 seconds left to give Concord-Carlisle a 2-2 tie with Dorchester; Meade Daly scored twice, Jack Walmsley posted 1-1-2, Corey Quinland had two assists and Oliver Ransom pitched a shutout as Cambridge topped Belmont 4-0; George Mulry wore the hat and O’Brien had 1-1-2 as the Railers defeated the Revs 5-2 – Johns with both goals in the loss; and Chris Merchant wore the hat and had an assist, Mike Kelly and Jason Pino both clicked for 2-2-4, Danny Dussault had 1-1-2 and Aaron Al-Marayati and JoJo Smith shared the shutout as Melrose scored a big win over Parkway.
