Andover won twice and Arlington had a win and a tie. Ty Walsh scored the winner with 1:37 left, Pat Flanagan scored twice and Will Moriarty had a goal and two assists in Andover’s 4-3 decision over Greater Lowell – and Flanagan scored twice in a 4-1 win over Lynnfield/Saugus; Fecteau wore the hat, Gilbert posted a goal and two assists and Tahan also had two assists in Arlington’s 5-1 victory over Andover – and Luke O’Sullivan scored with 46 seconds left to give Dorchester a 2-2 tie with Arlington, Russell with both goals for Arlington;
Ben Packard and Alex Sandell both scored two goals and set up another and Jack Kerrigan pitched a shutout as Cambridge topped Concord 4-0; and Mercuri scored one goal and set up two others as Lowell topped Waltham 4-1.
Winchester won twice. Max Tong, Shaan Porecha and Sam McDonald all had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 decision over Newton, Camden Cardamone with 2-1-3 and Mitch Gordon two assists in the loss – and Tong scored twice in a 1:45 span of the first period of a 3-1 win over Everett/Revere;
Jacob Dubuque scored two late goals and Chris Vacca had two assists as Wakefield trimmed NH East 5-3 – Nick Wesley with two goals in the loss; Paul Magalhaes of Everett/Revere and Joe Bermingham of Acton-Boxboro traded goals 28 seconds apart late in the second period of a 1-1 tie; Luke Frauton wore the hat and had an assist and Justin Morganelli had two assists as the Leafs defeated the Demons 7-0; and Mike Miele scored two goals in 45 seconds to give Reading a 2-1 lead, Matt Walsh tied it for Triton with 4:40 remaining and Matt Walsh followed 32 seconds later to give Reading a 3-2 decision over Triton.
Belmont, Beverly and Needham all won twice and Newburyport had a win and a tie in the North. Rosenmeier had a goal and an assist and Donahue scored what turned out to be the winner with 4:37 left as Belmont shaded Parkway 4-2 – and Belmont downed Parkway 4-1; Jeff Hallinan scored twice, Tim Sullivan snapped a 1-1 tie with 8:29 left and DJ Bachini had two assists in Beverly’s 3-1 victory over Haverhill/Pentucket – and Cam Cook scored twice and Jimmy O’Connell pitched a shutout in a 5-0 win over Marblehead; Jimmy Bonasian pitched a shutout and Ryan Albertson scored early in the second period as Needham topped Medfield 3-0 – and Needham edged Medfield 2-1; Jamie Brooks pitched a shutout and Braeden Curran scored with 1:41 left in the second period as Newburyport nipped Tewksbury 1-0 – and Matty Young scored with 4:26 left to give Stoneham/North Reading a 1-1 tie with Newburyport – Jack Sullivan with a first-period goal for Newburyport;
Jeff Tavaras pitched a shutout and William Chase scored in the second period as Natick defeated Triboro 3-0; Erik Utter scored with 5:51 left to give Tewksbury a 2-2 tie with Marblehead; Owen Delvalle’s second goal of the game – Ryan Hodgin assisting on both – with 8:29 left gave Charlestown a 2-1 decision over Winthrop; Burns and Mercuri scored in the second period as Chelmsford trimmed Cape Ann 2-1; Nick Babine pitched a shutout and Jackson Andy had 1-1-2 in Winthrop’s 3-0 victory over Stoneham/North Reading; and Zarenna Sawyer scored one goal and handed out three assists, Emerson Marshall posted four assists, Max Vieira and Jack Delaney both scored twice and Nick Rapchuck had 1-1-2 in Cape Ann’s 7-3 win over Haverhill/Pentucket – Sam Montanile with 1-1-2 and Drew Regan two assists in the loss.
In the South, Kaiser scored twice, Shapiro had a goal and an assist, O’Brien two assists and Hogan the shutout as SMS downed Andover 4-0; Tyler Frazee scored twice and Dom Marshall posted 1-1-2 as Nashoba topped North Andover 4-1; and Dom Mustone scored of the winner with 5:51 left and Devon Page and Jeremy Antonio both posted 1-1-2 as Medford edge Masco 3-2 – Cam Juliano with 1-1-2 in the loss.
Methuen won twice in the East. Cole Lambert posted two assists and Jack Allard and Nick Sanguedolce scored early in a 5-1 victory over Framingham – and Allard had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory over the Railers;
Ryan Shield scored twice and James Murphy and Doug George both clicked for a goal and an assist in Dorchester’s 6-2 victory over Dedham; Tyler Blank scored with 3:57 left to give NH East a 2-1 decision over Reading; Bishop’s second goal of the game and Doran’s goal came 1:55 apart in the second period as Haverhill/Pentucket edged Reading 3-2; Zach McCoy and Colby Despres scored 35 seconds apart – Gavin Currier with assists on both – late in the second period as Concord edged Amesbury 2-1; Sawyer Zuzenak snapped a 1-1 tie with 7:59 left as Winchester trimmed the Railers 3-1; Tyler Venturelli scored with four seconds left to give Arlington a 3-2 decision over Framingham – William Neiberger with both goals in the loss;
In the West, Ethan Thorp erupted for six goals and Wyatt James had two assists in Concord-Carlisle’s 8-3 victory over Newton – Ben Rishikof with 1-1-2 in the loss; Mercuri had 1-1-2 as Dedham edged the Railers 2-1; Josh Beggs wore the hat and had two assists, Jeuk Jun scored two goals and dished out three assists and Derek Zeena wore a hat and added an assist in Acton-Boxboro’s 8-3 win over Medford – Ciole Moore with two goals in the loss; Alden Turner wore the hat, Andrew Higgins posted three assists, Calvin Parker had 1-1-2 and Willie Franklin two assists in Wellesley’s 10-2 victory over South Boston; Connor Gagne clicked for 2-1-3 and Mike Capone also scored twice in Lynn’s 6-2 triumph over Parkway; Zach Sartori tied the game 42 seconds into the third period and Alex Fata then scored with 51 seconds left to give Wakefield a 3-2 decision over Lynn; and Needham downed Parkway 4-0.
The Leafs defeated the Demons twice in the North. John Clayton scored with 39 seconds left to give the Leafs a 3-2 decision over the Demons, Luke Frauton with two goals and an assist and Jack Baker two assists in the win – and the Leafs topped the Demons 7-0;
Porter Krause came within 14 seconds of a shutout as Southern Maine edged Belmont 2-1; Ginty pitched a shutout and Tyler Parker scored early in the second period as Andover trimmed Wilmington 2-0; Brenden Donovan scored with 26 seconds left to give Waltham a 2-1decision over S. Maine; Mark Albrechtskirkinger pitched a shutout and Josiah Jones scored twice in Brookline’s 3-0 victory over Lexington/Bedford; Billerica’s No. 25 and Max Howard of the Railers swapped second-period goals in a 1-1 tie; No, 4 posted 1-1-2 and Diego Demeo had two assists as Wellesley downed the Revs 4-1; and Riley, George (second goal) and Coleman all scored in the third period as Dorchester charged past Burlington 4-2 – D’Amico and Burke with 1-1-2 apiece in the loss.
Lynnfield/Saugu won twice in the South. Jake McLaughlin scored what turned out to be the winner 38 seconds into the third period of a 2-1 decision over Agawam – and Alex Fondulis scored with 1:37 remaining to give L/S a 2-1 win over Natick;
Connor Reeves and Cam Grant pitched a combined shutout and Eric Bragg scored both goals as the Edge trimmed SMS 2-0; Tyler Halleran scored what proved to be the winner with 3:45 left in the second period as the Crusaders topped Greater Lowell 4-2; Rylee Smith pitched a shutout and Gabby Oakes scored two late goals to snap Charles Beeker’s shutout as Masco trimmed Nashoba 2-0; Zink pitched a shutout and Preston assisted on both goals as Stoneham/North Reading topped Arlington 2-0; Wood and Pasquale (second goal) scored third-period goals to give S&S a 4-4 tie with Agawam – Theo Parianos with a hat trick and an assist and Trip Rossetti 1-1-2 for Agawam; and Sam Craveiro scored with 9:40 left to give Beverly a 2-2 tie with Allston/Brighton – Tim Kasyanov with 1-1-2 for A/B.
Tewksbury won twice and Haverhill/Pentucket had a win and a tie against Danvers in the East. Anthony Angiuoni, who also had an assist, scored with 6:07 left to give Tewksbury a 2-1 decision over Wakefield – and Seamus Crowley wore the hat, Sam Malone scored one goal and set up two others and Aidan MacDonald scored twice in a 7-2 triumph over Winchester;
Brendan Rosenthal snapped a 2-2 tie with 10:09 left and Colton Elves had two assists as Haverhill/Pentucket topped Danvers 4-2 – and teams tied 0-0;
Aidan O’Connor’s second goal of the game, with 1:19 left, gave Woburn a 3-2 decision over Medfield – James Carrier with two assists in the win and Wong 1-1-2 in the loss; No. 32 scored twice and Ryland Correia had a goal and an assist as Billerica stopped North Andover 8-1; Call scored with 6:52 left to give Needham a 2-2 tie with Medford – Nick Nabstedt with two first-period goals for Medford; and Tom Sampson scored six goals, Quinn Fallon scored two goals and dished out two assists and Chris Busby pitched a shutout in Burlington’s big win over the Railers.
Triboro won twice in the West, Fraser pitched a shutout and Gouthaman had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 victory over Framingham – and Barrett set up three goals and Dragsbaek scored twice in a 4-2 win over the Revs;
Jack Walmsley and Fionn McGowan both scored one goal and set up two others and Micah Muise posted 1-1-2 as Cambridge topped Concord-Carlisle 5-1; Camden Manning scored two goals and assisted on three others and Brady Cormier posted two goals and two assists in Twin City’s 5-2 win over Acton-Boxboro; Adam Bauer posted 1-1-2 and PJ Raymond scored what turned out to be the winner in the second period as Belmont edged Brookline 3-2; and Nolan Murphy capped a hat trick with 7:18 left and Cole Skinner (one assist) scored 12 seconds later to give Dorchester a 5-4 decision over Brookline – Alex Braunstein with two assists in the loss.
In a Jan. 6 game, Walmsley’s fourth goal of the game, with 28 seconds left, gave Cambridge a 6-5 decision over Parkway – Will Conner with a goal and two assists in the win and Mike Munnelly and Mike Chevette two goals apiece in the loss.
