Job Description:

Valley Associates, Inc. is actively recruiting for an Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate must be organized with strong computer skills and interpersonal skills, and be adept at managing employees and independent contractors in a fair and equitable manner.  The Part-time Position would entail on average approximately 20-25 hours per week, with a heavier schedule in the Fall and Winter and minimal hours mid-April through early August. The primary responsibilities will include: managing 15-20 regional directors responsible for game day operations and assignments for a large regional hockey league; managing the electronic game result reporting process, managing special events and handling other back office administrative roles.


Position Skill Requirements:

Candidate requirements will include:

·         Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel

·         Capable of learning a proprietary scheduling software platform

·         Strong interpersonal communication skills

·         Ability to solve problems in an emphatic and professional manner

·         Ability to manage employees in a fair and equitable manner

·         Ability to work in a team environment


Primary Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage 15-20 regional site directors, whom are responsible for assignment of game day officials for 50+ venues across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
  • Manage monthly payroll for game officials
  • Manage the processing of electronic game sheets and game results
  • Handle additional back office administrative roles and tasks.
  • Manage and assist with operations of special events
