ELITE

The Maine Academy won twice. Colby Anton scored twice, Jackson Woods had two assists and Noah Davies pitched a shutout in a 5-0 victory over Winchester – and Anthony Burnham and Brandon Caron both scored one goal and dished out three assists, Joe Lucien had two goals and an assist, Joe Strabley posted 1-2-3, Caden Smith had 1-1-2 and Jacob Smith pitched a shutout in a big win over the Crusaders;

In the other game, Pat Conzo wore the hat and had an assist, Mike Tersoni dished out three assists and Dom Schiappa and Austin Villa shared the shutout in Framingham’s 5-0 victory over Waltham.

AAA

In the North, Aaron Pratt capped a hat trick with 6:09 left to give Groton a 3-3 tie with Tewksbury, which got a goal and an assist apiece from Mike Arsenault and Kevin Kelleher; Andrew Christlieb (second goal), Nick Genaske and Jordan McCall scored in a 3:08 span of the second period as Natick got by Winthrop 6-4; Billy Erikson’s second goal of the game, with 6:09 left, turned out to be the winner as the Sharks topped Wellesley 3-2 – Drew Cohen with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Luke Evangelista scored two goals and set up another and Joe Deeb dished out three assists in Winthrop’s 5-2 win over Arlington.

North Andover won twice in the South. James Rogus pitched a shutout and Jimmy Boyle scored early in a 1-0 decision over Reading – and Pat Roycroft posted a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory over NH East;

Joe LaFauci scored one goal and dished out two assists in Belmont’s 6-2 win over Newton; Kevin Donaghey wore the hat as Reading downed Andover 5-2; and Ronan Bryant clicked for 2-1-3 and Joey Fernandes also scored twice in Lexington/Bedford’s 5-3 victory over Framingham – Roger Decker with 1-1-2 in the loss.

AA

NH East won twice in the North. Chaz Ziolkowski snapped a 1-1 tie with 2:38 left and Lucas Hamilton scored two late goals in a 4-1 win over Methuen – and Hamilton scored the winner with 7:07 left and Kevin Higgins assisted on both goals in a 2-1 decision over Danvers;

Jacob Vozikis and No. 14 both scored twice in Burlington’s 5-2 victory over Melrose; Petrone posted 1-1-2 and Gorman snapped a 1-1 tie with 1:12 left in the second period as Stoneham nipped Waltham 4-2 – Nick DiPace with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Dennis Duffy pitched a shutout and Ronan McCarthy scored midway through the second period as Parkway trimmed Needham 2-0.

Medford won twice in the South. Tom Connearney and Jake O’Donnell both scored twice and Matt Kivekas had 1-1-2 in a 5-2 victory over Arlington – and Kivekas snapped a 2-2 tie with 1:29 left and Connearney had 1-1-2 in a 4-2 win over Woburn, which got 1-1-2 from Carpenter;

Matt Roscoe scored his second goal of the game with 3:51 left and then assisted on Conor Sturniolo’s goal with 35 seconds remaining as Lynnfield/Saugus pulled out a 3-3 tie with Beverly; and Bryan and Bingel both clicked for 2-1-3 as Woburn defeated Charlestown 4-0.

Somerville won twice in the East. Carreiro scored two goals and set up two others, Pacheco delivered a goal and three assists and F. Vallesio had 1—1-2 in a 7-1 victory over Triton – and Merkel posted 1-1-2 in a 4-3 decision over Hyde Park;

Ryan Kennedy scored two goals and set up another and Jack Dillon posted 1-12 in Chelmsford’s 4-1 victory over the Starhawks; Max Strong scored four goals and set up another, Brandon Bailey posted 2-1-3, Liam Fisher had three assists and Hunter Bichao added 1-1-2 in Nashoba’s 9-1 win over Concord; Declan Cronin snapped a 1-1 tie with 10:21 left as the Sharks got by the Crusaders 3-1; and John Nelson pitched a shutout and Matt Nadeau had 1-1-2 in Wellesley’s 3-0 win over Cape Ann.

Waltham had a win and a tie in the West. Dan Conrad scored with 2:45 left to give his team a 3-2 decision over Stoneham – and Shea’s second goal of the game, with 10 seconds left, gave Andover a 2-2 tie with Waltham, which got 1-1-2 from Matt Roan;

Leif Riley wore a natural hat and Carlos Jones pitched a shutout in NH East’s 4-0 victory over Cambridge; Dedham got goals from six different players and downed the Crusaders 6-1; and George Roman and Ryan Fleck both posted 1-1-2 in Needham’s 4-1 triumph over SMS.

A

North Central won twice in the North. Spencer McCrillis came within 3:22 of a shutout, Danny Lynn breaking it up, and Charlie Chinian scored what turned out to be the winner with 4:41 left in a 3-1 victory over the Outlaws – and Ethan Casavant (1-1-2) scored with 8:05 left and Chinian then scored twice in 1:56 as North central trimmed Hollis 6-4;

Remy Lacchia wore the hat and Brendan Vaughan had a goal and an assist in Lexington/Bedford’s 6-2 victory over Lynn, which got 1-1-2 from Kirby; Steve Cohen wore the hat and had an assist, Duncan Stephenson posted 1-1-2 and Nick Tocci two assists as Concord-Carlisle edged Acton-Boxboro 5-4 – Art Chigas with two goals and Cory Laighton two assists in the loss; and Casey O’Brien Weiss and Matt Skillings scored in the third period to give Triboro a 2-2 tie with Billerica – Cam Cremin with 1-1-2 and Macisaac two assists for Billerica.

North Reading and NH East both won twice in the South. Billy Mccann wore the hat, Dylan Kelleher scored one goal and set up two others, Richie Maguire posted 1-1-2 and Adam Zecker also had two assists in North Reading’s 9-4 win over Natick, which got 1-1-2 from Mario DeLuca and two assists from Andrew Miller – and Evan Steele scored two goals in the third period and had an assist and McCann also scored twice in a 5-4 decision over the Sharks, who got 2-1-3 from Alex Smith and two assists apiece from Connor Nordman and Luke Jodice; Owen Snively scored twice and Jared Knights had 1-1-2 in NH East’s 4-1 victory over Haverhill/Pentucket – and Knight and Snively scored 1:15 apart early in the second period of a 4-2 win over Winthrop;

Alex Amalfi and Jack Hilgren both posted a goal and an assist and Matt Bird scored what turned out to be the winner late in the second period as the Demons downed Medfield 5-2; Nick Kosmas wore a natural hat in a 4:37 span early and added an assist as Lynnfield/Saugus defeated Wakefield 5-1; and Cullen and Jodice both scored twice and the Sharks trimmed Natick 6-3.

Burlington won twice in the East. Luke Shannon snapped a 1-1 tie with 1:34 left and Jake Taylor had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 victory over Andover — and Shannon wore the hat and had an assist and Danny Sullivan, John Pascale and Brian O’Neil all dished out two assists in a 6-1 triumph over Melrose;

Yarden Levy had a goal and an assist and Newton scored three times in the first period and downed Belmont 4-1; Dan Verry scored two goals and set up three others, Dan Glidden also scored twice and Ryan Porter posted 1-1-2 as Danvers topped Newburyport 6-2; Pat Corkum’s second goal of the game, with 38 seconds left, gave the Sharks a 2-1 decision over Waltham – Mike Costello with assists on both goals in the win; and Jake Shapiro scored four goals and Robert Steele had two assists in Framingham’s 5-1 victory over the Starhawks.

Dorchester had a win and a tie in the West. Ryan Bergen came through with two goals and two assists and Andrew Galvin and Ryan Hocker both posted 1-1-2 in a 7-2 victory over Lexington/Bedford – and Newton’s Nick Davidson and Dorchester’s Adam Higgins swapped goals 30 seconds apart in the second period of a 1-1 tie;

Jack Tenhope came within 2:36 of a shutout, Tom Santolucito breaking it up, and Carter Shephard had a goal and an assist as Beverly trimmed Waltham 3-1; Aaron Zakarian and Cam Cassidy shared the shutout, Camilio Vozzella and Derek Kimball scored 2:57 apart early in the second period and Liam McAnena assisted on both as Winchester nipped Waltham 2-0; Chris Freeman scored five goals and set up another and Mike Doneghy and Darren Domegan both posted 1-1-2 in Medford’s 9-3 win over Newton – Nick Krajewski with 2-1-3 in the loss; Ryan Baker wore the hat and Neal Duffy clicked for 1-1-2 as the Crusaders topped North Central 4-1; and Matt Teeven (1-1-2) scored with 1:48 left and Neil Harrington followed 48 seconds later to give Melrose a 4-3 decision over Woburn – Zach Macinnes with two goals and Jack Seibel 1-1-2 in the loss.

Woburn won twice in the Central. Chris Tammaro delivered two goals and an assist and Jack Maguire a goal and two assists in a 7-2 victory over Triboro – and Devin Marks pitched a shutout and Pat Doherty had two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over Wellesley;

Natick’s Luke Graves and Reading’s Sean Chamberlain swapped goals in a 1-1 tie; McManus scored two goals, including the winner with 2:48 left, and had two assists and Powers posted 1-2-3 as the Crusaders got by the Edge 4-3 – Ty Martin with two goals and Nate Eisenhower 1-1-2 in the loss; Cole Sanguedolce scored two late goals to send Methuen past Twin City 6-4 – Tyler Pratt with 2-1-3 and Joe Dussault 1-1-2 in the win and Ethan Hoecker 2-1-3 in the loss; and Martin’s second goal of the game, with 5:11 left, turned out to be the winner as the Edge slipped past Natick 3-2 – Liam Burr with a goal and an assist in the loss.
