In the only game, Jacob MacDonald and Nolan Matthews scored third-period goals 3:14 apart and Luke Levesque had two assists as Portland edged Wilmington 4-3.
In the North, Nathan Silva scored with 37 seconds left to give Tewksbury a 2-2 tie with Wellesley; Derek Kelleher’s second goal of the game, with 8:20 left, turned out to be the winner as Concord edged Newburyport 3-2; and AJ Russo scored with 4:42 left to give Arlington a 2-1 decision over the Sharks.
Reading had a win and a tie in the South. Kevin Donaghey scored with seven seconds left in the second period in a 2-1 victory over the Maine Academy – and Reading’s Camden Greenwood and NH East’s Dan Strum swapped early goals and the teams went on to a 1-1 tie;
Anthony Fresolone scored one goal and set up two others, Brendan Willett and Zach Piersol both posted 1-1-2 and Pete Santesanio pitched a shutout in Marblehead’s 4-0 win over Maine; Wes Silver clicked for 1-2-3, Tommy McCarthy and Nick Wang both scored twice and Nolan Cooper pitched a shutout in Newton’s 6-0 victory over SMS; Ned Malolepszy scored twice and Tom Fredo and Nolan Whitlock both posted 1-1-2 in North Andover’s 5-2 victory over Andover, which got both goals from Leo Byers; and Welch scored with 49 seconds left to give South Boston a 3-2 decision over Framingham – Sullivan with two assists in the win.
In the North, Eddie Adams scored four goals and set up another, Brian Corcoran had 1-2-3, Nate Riddell posted 1-1-2 and James Trussell and Xavier Metivier shared the shutout in Methuen’s 6-0 victory over Burlington; Gia Cavacini snapped a 2-2 tie with 2:11 left and No. 14 scored twice as Natick trimmed Needham 4-2; Cam Calocci clicked for 2-1-3, Jack Taylor had three assists and Pete Lemoine scored twice in Triboro’s 6-3 win over Parkway, which got two assists from Eamonn Finn; Fonzi scored twice and Brophy pitched a shutout in Agawam’s 4-0 victory over Danvers; and Williamson pitched a shutout and D’Ambrosio scored early in the second period as North Andover edged Agawam 1-0.
Waltham won twice in the South. Matt Tardif scored two goals and set up two others and Connor Cameron clicked for 2-1-3 in a 6-5 decision over Arlington, which got a hat trick from Matt Park, 1-2-3 from Nico Martinez and two assists from Jack Henehan – and Cameron and Matt McLaughlin scored 32 seconds apart in the first period of a 2-1 victory over Arlington;
Pat Crowley scored two goals and set up another, Andrew Dickson had 1-2-3, Josh MacPherson 1-1-2 and Jack Gray two assists in Greater Lowell’s 6-2 victory over Winchester; Tim Bedard pitched a shutout and No. 77 scored twice in Haverhill/Pentucket’s 3-0 win over the Edge; and Newton’s Saul Johnson Green and Woburn’s Sebastian Pino swapped second-period goals in a 1-1 tie.
Wellesley won twice in the East. Kevin Canaday, Ben Lussier and Jack Thomas all scored twice, Chris Maul had a goal and an assist and and Matt Nadeau dished out two assists in an 8-1 victory over Dorchester – and Lunger scored with 10:14 left and Canaday followed with 40 seconds remaining to give Wellesley a 2-1 decision over Somerville;
Christian Wilson scored with 3:01 left to give Hyde Park a 2-1 victory over Cape Ann; Brandon O’Neill and Millet (1-2-3) scored in a 2:41 span of the second period as the Sharks downed Concord 4-2; Mike Connelly scored two goals and set up three others, James Tatro posted 2-1-3 and Brad Killion also scored twice in Triton’s 7-2 victory over Reading; Aidan Tomaszewski of the Crusaders and Ryan Kennedy of Chelmsford swapped second-period goals in a 1-1 tie; Dante Giannunzio scored one goal and set up three others and Noah Razzetti had 1-1-2 in Twin City’s 8-2 win over the Sharks, who got 1-1-2 apiece from Matt Shepard and Dew Nunnemaker; and Ben Canfield came within 2:01 of a shutout, Cam Toner breaking it up, and Ryan O’Regan scored what turned out to be the winner with 1:26 left in the second period as Nashoba edged the Starhawks 2-1.
Framingham rode a pair of Brad Woodhouse shutouts to two wins in the West. Tom Casale and Tyler Hill scored 2:48 apart in the second period of a 2-0 victory over Dedham – and Joe Martell posted 1-1-2 in a 3-0 triumph over SMS;
Nick Buoniconti scored twice and Conor Lynch had two assists as the Crusaders downed Needham 5-1; Horgan wore the hat, McFague had three assists, Wright scored twice and Keene pitched a shutout in Groton’s 7-0 win over Dedham; Joe Marra’s 1-1-2 helped NH east past Stoneham 4-1; and Mike McLaughlin’s second goal of the game, with 2:21 left, gave Waltham a 4-4 tie with Cambridge, which got two goals from Connor Purcell and 1-1-2 from Ross McNeill.
In the North, Tyler Scales set up two goal and Ian Cadden scored what turned out to be the inner with 4:18 left as Billerica downed the Outlaws 5-2; JJ Maillet scored twice and Ryan Flinkstrom and Dante Padovano both posted 1-1-2 in Twin City’s 7-4 victory over Acton-Boxboro – Cody Laighton with three assists, Ryan Macri two goals and Colin Hatton 1-1-2 in the loss; Ethan Casavant delivered 1-2-3 in North Central’s 4-1 win over Concord-Carlisle; and Joe Parinello, Seth Girardi and Cam Sinopoli scored in a 2:01 span midway through the third period and Danny Lynn had two assists as the Outlaws topped Concord-Carlisle 4-2.
In the South, Pat Cullen wore the hat, Luke Judice had two goals and an assist and Trevor Carney had two assists as the Sharks topped Wilmington 10-4 -0- Max Shaapiro with two goals in the loss; Nick Kosmas scored twice and Anthony Magwood pitched a shutout as Lynnfield/Saugus downed Marblehead 4-0; Luke Randolph broke up Ryan Havermale’s shutout bid with 3:09 left and gave NH East a 1-1 tie with Winthrop, which got a first-period goal from Evan Smotrich; Jack Hilgren wore a natural hat and Alex Amalfi had two assists as the demons defeated Natick 5-2; and William McCann clicked for 2-2-4, Colin Gover wore the hat, Zach Shaw posted 2-1-3 and Dan Smith had 1-1-2 in North Reading’s 9-2 win over the Demons, who got 1-1-2 apiece from Brendon Geary and Jesse Chambers.
In the East, Tom Vaziri scored four goals, Tom Klowden and Sam Petitpas both clicked for 1-2-3 and Robert McNeil added 1-1-2 in Parkway’s 9-1 victory over Belmont; Ethan Donnelly and Nick Janne both scored twice in newton’s 4-1 win over Arlington; Chris Hernandez came through with 2-2-4 and Kirin Godhwani also scored twice in Brookline’s 6-4 win over Newton – Nick Tuozzolo with two goals, Alex Klopas 1-1-2 and Tim Dobies and Henri Boulerice two assists apiece; Dan Downier scored four straight goals, scoring what turned out to be the winner with 3:16 left in the second period and Chris Jones assisted on two of the goals as Burlington edged Andover 4-3 – Matt Gaetano with 1-2-3 in the win; and Antonio Calvanese scored what turned out to be the winner with 6:21 left as the Starhawks downed Parkway 6-3.
Greater Lowell won three times in the West, with Reilly Quinn pitching two shutouts and yielding only one goal. Brandon Johnson scored early in a 2-0 win over North Central; Josh Ratnoff wore the hat in a 4-1 victory over Chelmsford – and Ratnoff clicked for 2-2-4, Liam Niles scored twice and Quinn pitched a shutout in a 4-0 victory over Groton;
Colin Hatton scored twice and Blake Winsman pitched a shutout in Acton-Boxboro’s 4-0 victory over Groton; Liam McAnema had 2-1-3 and Aaron Zakarian pitched a shutout in Winchester’s 5-0 win over Newton; and Matt Joseph and Giles both posted 1-1-2 in Lexington/Bedford’s 3-1 win over Medford.
Woburn won twice behind a pair of Devin Marks shutouts in the Central. Jack Maguire had a goal and two assists, Craig Regan scored twice and Chris Tamarro had 1-1-2 in a big win over Natick – and Maguire wore a natural hat, Cam Goneau posted 2-1-3 and Dillon Pasco two assists in a 5-0 triumph over Haverhill/Pentucket;
In the other game, Cam Cole scored the winner with 6:19 left and Liam Goddard and Billy Carr both had a goal and an assist as the Edge nipped Wellesley 3-2 – Don Tung with a goal and an assist in the loss.
