Jacob McDonald scored two goals and set up another and Luke Levesque scored what turned out to be the winner 44 seconds into the third period as Portland topped Lynnfield/Saugus 5-1; Clayton Marengi tied the game with 4:24 left and Chris Flannery then came through with his second goal of the game with 13 seconds remaining to give Lynnfield/Saugus a 4-3 victory over the Crusaders – Danny Meade with two assists in the win and Doug Newton all three goals in the loss; and McDonald scored two goals in 12 seconds in the third period, Ettenhofer also scored twice and Martingnetti had two assists as Winchester edged Waltham 5-4 – Justin Moran and Connor Blanchard with a goal and an assist apiece in the loss.

In the North, Max Janger and Spencer Friedman both scored one goal and set up two others, Declan Dolan also dished out two assists and Nate Brennan pitched a shutout in Arlington’s 7-0 win over Casco Bay; Aaron Pratt wore the hat, Alex Cianci had two goals and an assist and William Zinkann two assists in Groton’s 6-3 triumph over the Sharks; Andrew Christlieb’s second goal of the game, with 9:29 left, turned out to be the winner as Natick edged Groton 2-1; and Colin Winkelman pitched a shutout and Pat Currie scored both goals as the Sharks trimmed Tewksbury 2-0.

Andy Moore scored what turned out to be the winner with 1:37 left in the second period as the Maine Academy nipped Reading 4-2—Brian Cahill with a goal and an assist in the loss; Matt Barnes scored twice in NH East’s 4-1 win over Andover; Boyle snapped a 1-1 tie with 6:21 left as North Andover scored three in the third period and topped Maine 3-1; Kyle Dumas scored the tying goal with 4:09 left and Brendan Ziegler scored twice as Reading pulled out a 3-3 tie with Marblehead, which took the 3-2 lead on Loch Sheridan’s second goal of the game with 6:59 remaining; Peter Welch scored twice as South Boston got by Lexington/Bedford 3-1; Joe LaFauci wore the hat, Matt Brody posted 2-1-3 and Justin Rocha 1-1-2 in Belmont’s 7-1 victory over SMS; and Ronan Bryant came through with 2-1-3, Joey Fernandes had 1-2-3 and John Dale 1-1-2 in Lexington/Bedford’s 4-0 win over Belmont.

In the North, Jacob Volzikis scored third-period goals 1:46 apart to give Burlington a 2-2 tie with Danvers; Dennis Duffy pitched a shutout and Cole Finnegan scored both goals as Parkway downed Natick 2-0; and Max Schleifer scored twice, Luke Bryson had two assists and Kyle Harvey came within 1:51 of a shutout, Robert DiMaggio scoring, as Needham nipped Waltham 4-1.

In the South, Jack Henehan (one assist) and Matt Loosian scored third-period goals to send Arlington past Charlestown 4-2—Prescott Herbery with a goal and an assist in the loss; Nick Kosmas scored with 21 seconds left to give Lynnfield/Saugus a 3-3 tie with Haverhill/Pentucket, which had gone ahead when Jared Libby scored with 4:05 remaining – Zack Montecalvo with two assists for H/P; No. 34 and Ciarlone scored 56 seconds apart in the second period to give Medford a 2-2 tie with Woburn; PJ Sullivan scored the tying goal with 8:12 left and also had an assist as Winchester tied the Edge 3-3 – Shane Walsh with 1-1-2 for the Edge; and Jack Bartle clicked for 1-2-3, Nick Brown and Chris Dove both posted 1-1-2 and Nick Beck and No. 49 both also had two assists in Acton-Boxboro’s 7-3 victory over Beverly – Andrew Mezza with two assists in the loss.

Hyde Park had a win and tie in the East. Christian Wilson scored with 6:30 left to give HP a 4-3 decision over Triton, which got two goals from Aiden Lowry – and Wellesley’s Brewster Beck von Peccoz and Hyde Park’s Joe Loewen swapped first-period goals in a 1-1 tie;

Ryan Provencher erupted for five goals, Cam Erwin and Greg Dacey both scored a goal and set up two others, Cara Schmidlein had 1-1-2 and Mac Surette came within one second of a shutout, Brendan Haggerty scoring, as Waltham downed Needham 9-1; Jack Dillon had 1-1-2 for Chelmsford and Sean Mizzoni 2-1-3 and Max Strong 1-1-2 for Nashoba in a 3-3 tie; Cal Twombly pitched a shutout and Matt Connelly scored 43 seconds into the game as Cape Ann nipped Reading 2-0; and Jacob Mauro had 2-1-3 and Alex Cormier two assists in Twin City’s 6-1 win over Concord.

Framingham won twice in the South. Tom McKeown scored with six seconds left to give his team a 2-1 decision over the Crusaders – and Tzali Nislick scored twice, Paul Connaughton and Jack Lanzillo both had a goal and an assist and Brad Woodhouse pitched a shutout in a 5-0 victory over Dedham;

Horgan scored twice in Groton’s 4-1 win over Needham; Alec Sheehan wore a natural hat and had an assist, Kevin Doherty scored one goal and set up three others and Mike Shannon also dished out three assists in Stoneham’s 6-3 victory over Everett/Revere; Charles Fasold pitched a shutout and Evan Bertrand scored early in the second period as the Crusaders topped SMS 2-0; Riley, Davis and Blume all posted 1-1-2 in Dedham’s 6-1 victory over Needham; Mackenzie Pelton scored the tying goal with 6:45 left and William Cooper had 1-1-2 as Cambridge pulled out a 5-5 tie with NH East, which got a hat trick and an assist from Joe Marra, 1-1-2 from Leif Riley and two assists from Cole Ablow; and Sean McLaughlin scored two goals, Liam Carvajal-Janke had two assists and Mac Surette pitched a shutout in Waltham’s 4-0 triumph over Everett/Revere.

In the North, TJ Vitullo and Brendon Martin both scored two goals apiece as Hollis downed the Outlaws 5-0; Doherty scored two goals and set up another, Roycroft had 1-1-2 and Williamson pitched a shutout in North Andover’s 7-0 win over Lynn; James Guriy scored with 20 seconds left to give Peabody a 4-4 tie with Lexington/Bedford – Charles Grout and Mike Zarro with two assists apiece for Peabody and Luke Butler 2-1-3, Mike Giles two goals and Brian Gillis two assists for LB; Will Sullivan scored the winner with five seconds left in the second period, Jack Thomas scored twice and Owen Morton had two assists as Wellesley edged Woburn 3-2; and Cody Laighton scored what proved to be the winner with 2:07 left in the second period as Acton-Boxboro nipped Triboro 3-2 – Kyle Bourque with both goals in the loss.

In the South, Jordan Laudani scored twice in the first period and had an assist and Keith Ricci posted a goal and an assists as Waltham trimmed Arlington 3-1; Cam Banks wore the hat and had three assists, Max Shapiro clicked for 1-2-3 and Mark Miraglia and Ryan Packer both had 1-1-2 as Wilmington downed Natick 9-5 – Logan Pfahler with 2-2-4 and John Stafford a hat trick in the loss; Jacob Smith’s second-period goal turned out to be the winner as the Edge got by Haverhill/Pentucket 2-1; Phil Berquist scored twice and Andrew Wallace had two assists as Lynnfield/Saugus topped Wakefield 4-1; Derek DiMare’s two late goals gave Haverhill/Pentucket a 4-2 victory over Marblehead; Evan Steele scored twice in North Reading’s 3-1 triumph over Medfield; and Connor DaSilva had 2-1-3 and the Sharks scored three goals in a 3:05 span of the second period and defeated Twin City 5-3 – Zach Piest with 2-1-3 and Dylan Stocking two assists in the loss.

In the East, McIlvenna pitched a shutout and Loosian had a goal and an assist in Arlington’s 3-0 victory over Belmont; Ben Hays scored his second goal of the game with 3:42 left to give Nashoba a 2-2 tie with Andover, which took the lead when Nolan Schirmer (1-1-2) scored with 8:10 remaining; Sageric Camilo wore a natural hat, Connor Stowe and Robert McNeil both posted 1-1-2 and Neal Gaffney had two assists in Parkway’s 5-2 victory over Framingham; Chris Hernandez and Aidan Chin scored 58 seconds apart late and both added assists as Brookline pulled out a 4-4 tie with the Starhawks, who got a hat trick from Van Ferragamo and two assists from Nick Gallagher; Fionn O’Connor pitched a shutout and Pete Delmonico had 1-1-2 in Newton’s 3-0 win over the Sharks; Shawn Callahan scored four goals and Liam Goddard snapped a 3-3 tie with 8:02 left as Masco rallied from three goals down and nipped Danvers 5-3 – Dan Verry with 1-1-2 in the loss; Luke Shannon snapped a 1-1 tie with 7:11 left and Ronin D’Auria had 1-1-2 in Burlington A1’s 4-1 victory over Cape Ann; and Bill Pesche and Matt Hickey scored third-period goals eight seconds apart as Melrose rallied from three goals down and pulled out a 3-3 tie with Burlington A2, which got 1-1-2 from No. 22.

Greater Lowell had a win and a tie in the West. Nick McCabe scored two goals and set up another, Josh Ratnoff also scored twice, Cole Bolduc had two assists and Reilly Quinn pitched a shutout in a 6-0 victory over Groton – and Matt Marois’ second goal of the game, with 4:42 left, gave the Crusaders a 4-4 tie with Lowell, Ryan Baker with two goals for the Crusaders and Ratnoff two goals and Bolduc 1-1-2 for Lowell;

Ronan Greene scored with 10:20 left and Tom Santolucito followed with 6:16 remaining to give Waltham a 3-1 victory over Newton; Matt Granahan scored his second and third goals of the game late to give SMS a 3-2 decision over Chelmsford – No. 40 with two assists in the win; No. 9 scored two late goals to give Winchester a 3-2 decision over Dorchester; Chris Freeman scored the tying goal with 3:04 left and Robert Greene posted 2-1-3 as Medford pulled out a 4-4 tie with Beverly; and Chandler Knott wore the hat and Josh Barrett and Ben Savoie both added two assists in North Central’s 5-1 triumph over SMS.

Triboro had a win and a tie in the Central. Tom Gentile wore the hat in a 5-2 win over the Edge – and Gentile and Nick Choate both scored their second goals of the game late to give Triboro a 4-4 tie with Wellesley, which got two goals from Bauer and two assists from Ben Crawford;

Tyler Shatford scored with one second remaining to give Haverhill/Pentucket a 2-1 victory over Natick; Jack Maguire scored twice and Cam Goneau had a goal and an assist in Woburn’s 5-3 victory over Twin City, which got 1-1-2 from Josh Leider; and McManus’s second goal of the game, with 1:20 left in the second period, led the Crusaders to a 3-1 win over Methuen.
