Fourth-seeded Andover won the title.
In the quarterfinals, Moran and Talanian both had two goals
and as assist and Luke Wyman two assists as No. 7 Arlington topped No. 2
Reading, 5-2 – Hennessey with both goals and Davis assist on both in the loss;
No. 3 Shrewsbury advanced past No. 6 Burlington, 4-3; Vinny Forgione sent the
game into overtime with a goal with 5:56 left in regulation and Chris Giuliano
(1-1-2) scored with 3:38 left in the OT to give the No. 8 Saints a 4-3 decision
over No. 1 Masco, which got 1-1-2 from Brendan Murphy; and David Rockwood had
two goals and an assist in Andover’s 3-1 win over Woburn.
In the semifinals, Rockwood posted two goals and an assist,
Alex Iaralov also scored twice and Ben Harris and Pat McQuillen shared the
shutout in Andover’s 5-0 victory over the Saints; and Talanian’s second goal of
the game snapped a 3-3 tie with 3:52 left and Moran had 1-2-3 as Arlington
nipped Shrewsbury, 5-3 – Tom Diebold with two assists in the loss.
In the championship game, Cam Dwyer snapped a 1-1 tie with
3:38 left and Rockwood scored another goal in Andover’s 3-1 victory over
Arlington.
