Teams may be focused on league play these days, but one program - the Waltham Youth Hockey Program - is still basking in a recent string of impressive non-league tournament victories. Here is a list of their achievements. Congratulations to all!

In addition, the Waltham Youth Hockey Program is one of many across the
country that has made a commitment to improving the playing experience
by taking part in the Positive Coaches Alliance (PCA). The PCA has
worked with 1,700 youth sports organizations to train about 450,000
coaches, parents and youth sports leaders who reach some 4 million
children. The organization provides teaching tools that help coaches
redefine the idea of "winning" from something that is reflected on a
scoreboard to something that is reflected in a child’s character.
This PCA program has gained national momentum and was covered by the New York Times as part of a series that is examining youth sports in American culture. Click here to read the NYT article. The second of three PCA seminars were held at the Kennedy Middle School in Waltham recently.
