in a 4-2 victory over Reading – and Dom Tocci snapped a 2-2 tie with 10:53 left
and Adam Roberts had a goal and an assists in a 4-2 win over Marblehead, which
got a goal and an assist from Danny Gienieczko;
Steve Schuhwerk scored his second goal of the game with 3:09
left and Jack Moffat assisted on both as Andover pulled out a 2-2 tie with
Concord, which got 1-1-2 from Jonathan Moore; and No. 16 scored with3:48 left
in the second period, answering a MarkDeBenedictis goal and allowing Lynn to
earn a 1-1 tie with Waltham.
BLUE DIVISIONS Agawam won twice. Ricky Calvani and Dan Frey both had two
goals and two assists, MikeGillis posted 1-2-3 and Ben Brophey pitched a
shutout in a 6-0 win over Masco – and Frey (2-1-3) scored what turned out to be
the winner 53 seconds into the third period as Agawam edged Everett/Rever, 5-4,
Nick McLane also with 1-2-3 and Gavin Cann scoring twice in the win while Steve
Noel had two goals and Chris Anderson and JJ McLaughlin two assists apiece in
the loss;
Joe Tansino scored two goals in 40 seconds late in the
second period to give Melrose a 3-1 decision over Malden/East Boston; Dylan
Smith delivered 2-2-4 and Nico Frelick also had two assists as
Lexington/Bedford stopped Woburn, 5-2; Cooper Gould capped a hat trick with
goals with 1:48 and 59.8 seconds left to give Arlington a 4-4 tie with Groton,
which got two goals apiece from Robert Hoare and Harry Perreault and two
assists from John Langan; Dhiral Mistry went for 2-1-3, Ernie Jones set up
three goals and Mike Immerman scored two as Acton-Boxboro beat Burlington, 5-2
– Steve Theriault with both goals and Jeff Russo assists on both in the loss;
Evan Ricci and Tyler Poulin both wore hats, Ricci added an assist and Matt
Busconi had 1-1-2 in Watertown’s 7-2 victory over Methuen; Heath King posted
2-1-3, Dave Batterton 1-2-3, Jack Aponas and Zach Lennon both had 1-1-2 and
Kevin Thibodeau lost a shutout when Charlie Sebastyn scored with 1:14 left as
Maples beat Nashua, 6-1; Luke McQuaide had 1-1-2 and John Kelly two assists in
Andover’s 5-1 win over Haverhill/Pentucket; Justin Bruzzese scored twice, Sean
Buckley had 1-1-2 and MikeFinocchiaro pitched a shutout in North Reading’s 5-0
win over Cape Ann; Ray Dufour pitched a shutout, Pat Harrington scored twice
and Chris Colbert posted two assists in Stoneham’s 3-0 victory over Winchester;
and Steve Rogers had 1-1-2 and Winthrop defeated Wilmington, 4-1.
RED DIVISIONS Wakefield and Casco Bay Orange both won twice and Casco Bay B
wore a pair of ties, Wakefield also losing a game. Steve Melanson’s second goal
of the game, with 2:58 left, turned out to be the winner and Austin Collard had
two assists as Wakefield edged Medford, 3-2, Matt Sullivan with two assists in
the loss – and Brian Cannatta pitched a shutout and Pat Leary scored with 6:54
left in a 2-0 victory over Medford; Brendan Hickey delivered 2-1-3, Brent
Rickey 1-2-3, Sam Potter three assists, Henry Norris and Ryan Sullivan 1-1-2
apiece and Spencer Pierce the shutout in Casco B-O’s 8-0 win over Wakefield –
and PeytonWeatherbie’s goal with 41 seconds left turned out to be the winner
in a 4-2 win over Concord, which got both goals from Bailey Nangle; Chris
Romano scored the tying goal with 7:43 left, Alex Glidden had 2-1-3 and Andrew
Ray 1-1-2as Casco Bay B pulled out a 4-4 tie with Newton, which got 1-1-2 from
Zach Gordon – and Cam Richall scored with 1:08 left to give Hollis a 4-4 tie
with Casco Bay, which got two goals from Dylan Friend, 1-1-2 from Glidden and
two assists from Ray;
Joe Zigarelli scored one goal and assisted on three others,
Leo Saitz had three assists and Mike Hart two goals in Newton’s 5-2 win over
Melrose; Aiden Breen’s second goal of the third period, with 2:01 left, gave
Salem a 3-3 tie with Maples – Jacob Sylvester with two assists for Salem and
Joe Fougere with 1-1-2 and Cam Beevers two assists for Maples; Bradley Murphy
and Nagle scored late goals 1:06 apart, Nagle scoring with 1:02 left to give
Concord a 3-2 decision over Newton, which got both goals from Mike Hart; Ben
Murphy scored with 4:36 left to give Acton-Boxboro a 3-2 win over Billerica; AJ
Ernst’s second goal of the game, with 1:35 left, gave Marblehead a 4-4 tie with
the Wizards – Will Crowley also with two goals for Marblehead while Emily Smith
and Corrine McCool both had 2-1-3 and Melissa Zavez and Carmen Braceras each
had two assists for the Wizards; William Burridge scored twice in Stoneham’s
4-1 victory over Lexington/Bedford; and Kyle Brossseau scored with 53 seconds
left in the second period as Saugus nipped Twin City, 3-2.
SILVER DIVISIONS Groton won twice. Ben McEvoy pitched a shutout and Kevin
Bragg had 1-1-2 in a 4-0 victory over Nashoba – and Mike McDonough scored with
5:30 left for the win and Ryan Martone had two assists in a 2-1 decision over
Woburn;
Ben Strauss had 2-1-3 and Kyle Diaz 1-1-2 in Nashua’s 5-1
victory over PAT; David ZinlandPukhovitsky had 2-1-3 in Andover’s 4-2 win over
Burlington; Andrew McRae scored the winner early in the third period and Cam
Twomey assisted on all three goals as S&S nipped Concord-Carlisle, 3-2 –
Thatcher Adams with two assists in the loss; Reading’s Garrett Hoag and
Woburn’s Murphy traded second-period goal 1:53 apart in a 1-1 tie; and Andrew
Miller scored what proved to be the winner in the second period of Waltham’s
4-3 decision over Arlington, which got 2-1-3 from Mike Mazzei.
GOLD DIVISIONS Wakefield and Agawam both had a win and a tie, the tie
coming against each other. JaredMorgan scored with 2:10 left in the second
period of Wakefield’s 2-1 victory over Masco; Gaurdeau’s two goals carried
Agawam past Waltham, 3-1 – and Liam Hosford
scored with 9:24 left to give Wakefield a 1-1 tie with Agawam, which went ahead
when Meaney scored 12 seconds into the second period;
Tommy Ferullo pitched a shutout in Woburn’s 2-0 win over
Billerica; Tom O’Brien had a goal and three assists, Brian Foss wore the hat,
Chris Leary posted 2-1-3, Adam Deakin scored twice and Lucy Chin pitched a
shutout as Lexington/Bedford scored a big win over Acton-Boxboro; Tyler Morris
had 2-2-4 and Joe Chasse 2-1-3 in Billerica’s 5-2 win over Cape Ann, which got
both goals from Cornetta; Anthony Cecca had 1-2-3 and No. 43 added 1-1-2 as
Malden/East Boston beat Danvers, 5-3 – Gill with 1-2-3 in the loss; Quinn
Brinkler’s second goal of the game, with 1:16 left, gave Lynn a 3-2 decision
over Winthrop – Stave Santanello with 1-2-3 in the win; Alex Pugh scored twice
and Matt Fagan had two assists in Winchester’s 5-2 victory over Reading; Tyler
Willen and Vivien Rindisbacher both posted 2-1-3 and Ross Friedman pitched a

GRAY DIVISIONS Morgan DerMarderosian scored twice and Sydney Fischelis and
Elizabeth Warner both posted 1-1-2 as the Wizards beat Arlington, 6-2; Jack
Ryan Johansen wore the hat, KyleJoyce had three assists and Dean Paquette,
Bryce Newsham and Mike Talbot all had 1-1-2 in Nashua’s 8-2 win over Newton;
Peabody beat Lexington/Bedford, 4-2, despite two goals by Liam Hershberger; CJ
Cantone wore a third-period hat and scored four goals, BillyCrowley had 2-1-3,
No. 2 posted 1-1-2 and John Michael Keating and No. 12 both had two assists in
Medford’s 7-4 win over Burlington, which got a hat trick from Jonathon Haley
and two assists from No. 8;Chris Lee scored what turned out to be the winner
with 3:35 left in the second period and Jack O’Neill had two assists as
Chelmsford got by Concord-Carlisle, 4-3 – Ben Gates with two goals and Alex
Hill 1-1-2 in the loss; James Driscoll and ConnorMulligan scored 11 seconds apart
