WHITE DIVISIONS Reading won twice. Danny Tighe, who also had an assist,
scored two goals in a 1:25 span early in the third period and Tom Welsh and
Jason Ewing both had 1-1-2 in a 4-3 decision over Chelmsford, which got 1-1-2
apiece from Nick Terrio and Andy Robinson – and Tighe had another two-goal/one-assist
performance, Nick Miele posted 1-1-2 and Ewing and KyleFay both had two
assists in a 6-1 victory over Waltham;
Will Doran wore the hat and had an assist, Nico Frelick
scored twice and Parker Sutton had 1-1-2 in Lexington/Bedford’s 6-4 victory over
Concord, which got two goals from Jonathan Moore; Ryan Holmes scored with 5:59
left to give NH East a 3-2 decision over Chelmsford; and Derek Dutton scored
twice and Andy Soucy had two assists in Andover’s 3-2 win over NH East.
BLUE DIVISIONS Melrose had two wins and a tie, the Wizards and Winchester
won twice and Wilmington had a win and a tie, the tie against Melrose. Greg
McGunigle wore the hat, Ryan Sheft had 1-2-3 and Joe Tansino three assists as
Melrose defeated Cape Ann, 5-1; Matt Bowers pitched a shutout, McGunigle had
2-1-3 and Jacob Kleis 1-1-2 as Melrose beat Newburyport, 3-0; Steve Giroux
pitched a shutout and Eric Steeves scored 32 seconds in to the third period as
Wilmington edged Acton-Boxboro, 1-0 – and Alex Brown’s second goal of the game,
with 2:47 left, and McGunigle’s goal with 1:25 remaining gave Melrose a 3-3 tie
with Wilmington, which got two goals from Pat Dunfey and two assists from
Steeves; Rebecca Gilmore scored four goals and assisted on two others, Shannon
Griffin had 1-2-3 and Sofi Tamaro and Kelsey Ryan both posted 1-1-2 in a 9-4
victory over Agawam, which got two goals from Mike Gillis and two assists from
Alex Apgar – and Gilmore wore another hat and MollyBarrow pitched a shutout in
a 4-0 win over Maples; Dan Hennessey (1-1-2) scored the winner with 3:52 left
and Adam Ziady assisted on both Winchester goals in a 2-1 decision over
Haverhill/Pentucket – and Hennessey scored what turned out to be the winner and
Tristan Boudreault lost a shutout when O’Shea scored with 31 seconds left in a
3-1 win over Methuen;
Heath King wore a natural hat in less than three minutes of
the first period and Zach Lennon posted 2-1-3 as Maples beat Burlington, 6-1;
Pat Ryan pitched a shutout and CollinJohansson scored twice in Groton’s 4-0
victory over Burlington; Frank Ferrar scored with 2:55 left to give Winthrop a
2-1 decision over Masco; Evan Ricci and Tyler Poulin both wore hat, Ricci added
an assist, Tim Connors posted a goal and three assists and Dan Ferrar 1-2-3 in
Watertown’s 9-3 win over Reading; Joe Coviello snapped a 1-1 tie late in the
first period and Malden/East Boston nipped Nashua, 3-1; Justin Bain’s second
goal of the game, with 8:44 left, gave Concord-Carlisle a 3-2 win over Andover;
Steve Noel scored two goals and assisted on four others, Chris Anderson had
2-1-3 and Chris Straccia and JJ McLaughlin 1-2-3 apiece as Everett/Revere
nipped Billerica, 8-6, despite 2-2-4 by DiCicco, 1-3-4 by Buckland and 1-2-3 by
Nardello; and Jamieson scored twice,
Gallagher had two assists and Woburn scored three goals in 3:34 in the
second period to defeat Cape Ann, 3-1.
RED DIVISIONS
Newton won twice. Arnon Goldberg pitched a shutout and Zach Gordon
(1-1-2) and QuinnBolerice (1-1-2) scored 2:25 apart late in a 2-0 win over the
Gladiators – and Mike Hart posted 2-1-3
and Ricky Alexy also scored twice in a 5-1 victory over
Salem;
Kylie Han and Ashley Tucker shared the shutout and Corrine
McCool scored twice as the Wizards beat North Andover, 3-0; Bradley Murphy
scored what proved to be the winning goal with 10:24 left and Bailey Nangle had
two assists in Concord’s 4-2 win over Medford; Andrew Scarpa pitched a shutout
and Brendan Barry scored in the first period of Stoneham’s 2-0 victory over
Lexington/Bedford; Cooper Richard and Justin Keaney scored and Sam Zaghut lost
a shutout when David Fors scored with 32 seconds left as the Gladiators edged
Twin City, 2-1; Pat Cross scored with 9:32 left to give Saugus a 2-1 win over
Casco Bay; Jake Daniels (2-1-3) scored the winner with 3:36 left and Joe
Killian also had 2-1-3 as Maples edged Twin City, 5-4 – Leblanc with 1-1-2 in
the loss; Andrew Ray scored with 4:24 left to give Casco Bay a 3-3 tie with
Melrose, which got two assists from Cam Markt; and Cam Boisvert scored twice
and John McPartlan and Jeremiah Latham both had two assists as Hollis topped
Maples, 3-1.
SILVER DIVISIONS Portland, Woburn and PAT all had a win and a tie, Portland
and Woburn tying each other. Jaxon Friedman and Jack Dunbar shared a shutout
and James Ross had a goal and an assist in Portland’s 3-0 victory over Reading;
Murphy wore the hat, O’Connor and Kergo both had 1-2-3 and Newcomb two assists
in Woburn’s 6-4 win over Nashua, which got two goals from Trevor Roche – and Matt Deveaux scored with 5:53 left to
give Portland a 2-2 tie with Woburn; Josh Joy scored twice in PAT’s 3-0 win
over Burlington (coaches, a goalie for the shutout???) – and Jarod Dusault
scored with 3:53 left to give PAT a 3-3 tie with Andover, which got 2-1-3 from
David Zinland-Pukhovitsky;
Connor Desharnais had 2-1-3, Nick DallaSanta also scored
twice and Kyle Barry had two assists in Burlington’s 6-4 win over Nashoba,
which got two goals from Mike Logasn and two assists from John Clark; Devon
Brzzese and Mike Driscoll shared the shutout, BrendanCrehan had 1-1-2 and Matt
Murphy and Nick Nadeau both had two assists in Reading’s 4-0 victory over
Arlington; Tibbetts posted 2-2-4 and Armand, O’Keefe and No. 11 all had 1-1-2
as Danvers defeated Concord-Carlisle, 8-3 – Burns with 2-1-3 and Blunt two
assists in the loss; Ben McEvoy pitched a shutout, Mike McDonough and William
Graney both scored twice and Owen Ferrara had two assists in Groton’s 5-0 win
over Andover; and Blunt and No. 20 both had 1-1-2 as Concord-Carlisle built a
3-0 lead and then held off the Wizards, 3-2 -- Lisa Spagnuolo and Olivia Gill
with 1-1-2 apiece in the comeback attempt.
GOLD DIVISIONS Woburn IV won twice. Joe Orahood had 2-13 and Jack Turner
two assists in an 8-2 win over Cape Ann – and Henry Johnson capped a hat trick
with 2:10 left to give Woburn a 3-2 win over Methuen;
Craig Engert scored in the second period and Acton-Boxboro
blanked Wakefield, 1-0 (coaches, a goalie for the shutout???); Joe Chasse wore
a natural hat over a 2:29 span of the first period and Billerica topped
Winchester, 4-2; Kevin Lombard set up two goals in Lynn’s 4-1 win over
Lexington/Bedford; Justin Cushing pitched a shutout and Max Doherty scored
early in Woburn’s 3-0 win over Reading; Henri Marius pitched a shutout, Matt
Fagan scored twice, John Laghetto had 1-1-2 and Scott Murphy two assists in
Winchester’s 3-0 win over Tewksbury; Shea’s second goal of the game, with one
second left, gave North Reading a 4-3 decision over Winthrop – Robishaw with
two goals in the win and Dolan a pair in the loss; Alex Norton’s second goal of
the game, with 55 seconds left, gave Tewksbury a 5-4 decision over Agawam –
Rico DiFronzo with 2-2-4 in the win and Minot 2-1-3 and O’Connor 1-1-2 in the
loss; Kyle Robbins posted 1-2-3 and Tom Powers and Mike Salvaggio both scored

Chelmsford. Brendan Laly scored late in the second period of a 1-0 win over the
Wizards – and Lally wore the hat and had three assists, Jack Regan had three
setups and Jack O’Neill scored twice in a 6-0 victory over Salem; Mike Slattery
posted 2-1-3 and Mike Rose 1-2-3 in Andover’s 4-1 win over Melrose – and Pete
Lowenstein scored twice and Ryan Nazarian had 1-1-2 in a 4-3 decision over
Waltham, which got two goals from Fred Herlihy; Jack Wiehe had 1-1-2 in a
three-goal third period that gave Newburyport a 3-0 win over Winchester
(coaches, a goalie for the shutout???) – and Jack Kelleher beat Colin Kiernan
with 25 seconds left to give Newburyport a 1-1 tie with Melrose, which got a
goal from Drew DiFraia just 33 seconds into the game; Cam Pozark snapped a 1-1
tie with 2:08 left and Ryan Granara scored twice as Saugus trimmed Wilmington,
3-1 – and John Laisure and Chris Fioravanti both scored their second goals of
the game 17 seconds apart in the final minute, the Fioravanti goal coming with
42 seconds left to give Saugus a 4-4 tie with Nashua, which got two goals from
JackRyan Johansen;
Bennett Plosker snapped a 2-2 tie with 2:28 left and
Lexington/Bedford rallied to pull out a 4-2 win over Burlington – Ben Bruce
with two assists in the win and Chris Gedick both goals in the loss; AJ Doher
and Jarid Bergeron scored 1:39 apart early in the third period and Chris
Vacarelo had two assists as Twin City got by Maples, 3-1; John Michael Keating
scored twice, CJ Cantone had 1-1-2 and Lucas Clark two assists in Medford’s 5-2
victory over Newton; Alec Coleman posted 2-1-3 and Marc Tardieux 1-2-3 in
Arlington’s 5-3 victory over Salem, which got two goals from Jacob Heckman and
two assists from Curtis Culcasi; Nasworthy pitched a shutout and Adams scored
both goals in Groton’s 2-0 win over Medford; Dario DiRenzo had 2-1-3 and North
Andover defeated Nashua, 4-2; Vetrano pitched a shutout, Warner posted three
assists, M. Sullivan scored twice and No. 1 had 1-1-2 as the Wizards beat
Marblehead, 4-0; AJ Catalano scored the tying goal to give Stoneham a 2-2 tie
with Wilmington, which got two assists from Matt Blair; and EthanLeBlanc
