WHITE DIVISIONS Reading won both games played in a quiet week. Danny Tighe
had a goal and three assists and Kyle Ash two goals and a setup in a 5-2
victory over Andover – and James Reilly wore the hat and Ash had two assists in
a 5-1 win over Lexington/Bedford.
BLUE DIVISIONS Zach Bilodeau scored his second goal of the game with 50
seconds left and also had an assist in leading Burlington past Woburn, 3-2;
Bridan Bessler scored two goals in 1:54 in the third period and Ryan Snook had
two assists as Everett/Revere got by Newton, 3-1; RyanSheft had a goal and two
assists, Jack Mays set up three goals, Greg McGunigle scored two and Joe
Tansino had 1-1-2 as Melrose beat Billerica, 6-3 – Dom DiCicco with two goals
in the loss; Luke McQuaide wore the hat, Mike Biddle posted 2-1-3 and Jack
Fraser added two assists as Andover II defeated Salem, 7-1; Chase scored with
4:18 left to give North Reading a 2-2 tie with Newburyport; Trevor Couett
delivered 1-2-3, Collin Shapiro and Beau Arsenault both scored twice, John
Witkowski had 1-1-2 and Tim Faulkner two assists in NH East’s 8-1 win over
Acton-Boxboro; Dave Batterton and Heath King both posted 2-2-4 and Maples
defeated Wilmington, 6-2; Dan Frey and Mike Gillis both had 1-1-2 and Agawam
nipped Reading, 3-1; Eric Steeves and Josh Buska both wore hats, Steeves adding
two assists, and Tim Benoit also set up two goals in Wilmington’s 7-5 win over
Billerica, which got 1-1-2 apiece from Shane Kelly and Ashlie Jones; and Ricci
wore the hat and Busconi (1-1-2) scored what turned out to be the winner with
3:47 left as Watertown edged Concord-Carlisle, 4-3 – Luiselli with two goals in
the loss.
RED DIVISIONS Haverhill/Pentucket and Casco Bay both won twice. Neenan
and Bridgewater both had two goals and two assists and Macleod also scored
twice in a 7-1 win over Hollis – and Kane scored with 5:10 left in the second
period and Bridgewater had 1-1-2 in a 3-2 win over Melrose; Josh Noyes and
Henry Norris both had 2-1-3, Owen Potenziano posted 1-2-3 and Peter Barry also
had two assists in Casco Bay O’s 7-2 victory over Lexington/Bedford – and Mike
Hatch wore the hat and had an assist, Noye set up three goals, Jack Freeman had
1-1-2 and Andrew Pellechia two assists in a 7-1 win over Beverly;
Andrew Ray scored twice and Galen Arnold had two assists in
Casco Bay B’s 3-1 win over Twin City; Jerry O’Brien and Dave Welch scored in
the first period of Medford’s 3-1 win over Woburn; No. 8 and Gino Daloia scored
1:44 apart and Ben Ryan lost a shutout on a WillThomas goal with 3:29 left as
North Andover edged Lexington/Bedford, 2-1; Brendan Barry and Connor Dirks
(1-1-2) scored 16 seconds apart early in the third period to give Stoneham, a
3-2 decision over Newburyport, which got two assists from Kevin Brennan; AJErnst capped a hat trick with the goal that turned out to be the winner with
3:06 left, WillCrowley had four assists and Will Varsano two as Marblehead got
by the Wizards, 7-6 – EmilySmith and Casey Freehill both scoring twice in the
loss; William Otero scored what proved to be the winner with 8:28 left and Sean
Boisvert had two assists as Acton-Boxboro edged Casco Bay N, 3-2, despite two
goals by Ray; Cam Beevers posted 2-1-3 and SeanHirtle two assists as Maples
defeated Woburn, 5-2; and Candan Iuliano and Anthony Ventura scored 2:05 apart
late to give Melrose a 2-2 tie with Wakefield, which got both goals from Mario
Moscato and assists on both from Ty Collins and Pat Leary. SILVER DIVISIONS Burlington (2-1) and Reading Both won twice. Connor
Desharnais’ goal midway through the second period turned out to be the winner
as Burlington topped Billerica, 3-1 – and Desharnais (1-2-3) scored what proved
to be the winner with 4:48 left and Jack Bertolami scored twice in a 6-4
victory over Andover, which got a goal and three assists from David
Zinland-Pukhovitsky and three assists from Ethan Brother; Devon Bruzzese and
Mike Driscoll lost a bid for a combined shutout when Kyle Barry scored with
1:36 left and No. 22 had 1-1-2 as Reading beat Burlington, 4-1 – and Harrett
Hoag and Matt Murphy both had 1-2-3 and George Love 1-1-2 in a 6-4 win over
Nashua;
Cam Sheedy’s 1-1-2 helped Nashua past Winchester, 5-3 –
Scott Murphy with 1-1-2 in the loss; Ben McEvoy pitched a shutout and Ben
Fischi scored with 10:44 left in Groton’s 2-0 victory over PAT; No. 5 wore the
hat, scoring all three goals for Haverhill/Pentucket in a 3-2 decision over
Concord-Carlisle; Kris Cecere capped a hat trick with the winner with 52
seconds left and also had an assist and Chris McCarthy posted 1-1-2 as Nashoba
edged Andover, 5-4 – Tommy Giacchetto with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Luc Dallaire
snapped a 2-2 tie with 3:23 left on the first period and Waltham went on to a
5-2 win over Arlington, which got both goals from No. 12.
GOLD DIVISIONS Jonathan Kosmas scored two goals and assisted on two others,
Cody Roork also scored twice and Mike Clougherty had two assists in Lynn’s 5-1
victory over Malden/East Boston; Beaulieu pitched a shutout and Meaney scored
in the second period as Agawam nipped Waltham, 2-0; Richards scored with 3:36
left to give North Reading a 2-2 tie with Winthrop, which got assists on both
goals from Iacopuci; Noonan was in goal for Cape Ann in a 0-0 tie with
Newburyport (coaches, a goalie for the Newburyport shutout???); and Sean Bates
and Nick McCool shared the shutout and Nick Corcoran scored in the second
period of Methuen’s 1-0 win over Tewksbury.
GRAY DIVISIONS Andover had a win and a tie. Tom Ross scored with 8:21 left
to produce a 2-1 decision over Melrose – and Mike Rosen scored with 2:48 left
to give Andover a 3-3 tie with Salem, which got 1-2-3 from William Bickford and
two assists from Jacob Heckman;
Ben Carlson pitched a shutout and Jake Sauls scored 17
seconds into North Andover’s 1-0 victory over Groton; CJ Cantone (2-1-3)
snapped a 3-3 tie with 1:48 left and Medford nipped Winchester, 5-3 – Brett
Marx with two goals in the loss; Jack O’Neil had 1-1-2 and Chelmsford defeated
Haverhill/Pentucket, 4-1; Zachary Marcinkowski (1-1-2) tied it with 3:48 left,
Nick Santos then scored the winner with 1:58 on the clock and Kyle Penney
assisted on both as Wilmington edged Saugus, 2-1; Tyler Pouliot scored five
goals and JackReynolds had 1-2-3 as Maples beat Marblehead, 7-4, despite a hat
trick by Matt Gray, 1-2-3 by Josh Tassinari and two assists by Tom Brant; and
Alec Coleman and Billy Bannon both had 1-1-2 and Jackson Elmore lost a shutout
when Dan LeBlanc scored with 3:54 left in Arlington’s 3-1 victory over Twin
City.
BLACK Nashua had a win and a tie. Brendan Parent wore the hat in a
5-2 victory over Newton, which got two assists from Yuval Levy – and Kyle Joyce
posted 1-1-2 in a 5-3 win over Lexington/Bedford, which got 1-1-2 from Kian
Hershberger;
Isaac Madigan scored with 10:21 left to give Newton a 1-1
tie with Burlington, which got a first-period goal from Christopher Gedick –
and Nick Ryan and Nick Federico both wore hats, Ryan adding an assist, and
Nathan Landry, Samantha Murphy and Danny O’Brien all had two assists in
Stoneham’s 6-1 win over Waltham.
