5-2 victory over Arlington – and Foley and Allard (second goal) scored 3:06
apart in the third period to give Lynn a 4-4 tie with Andover, as Johnson had
three assists for Lynn while Gemmell had three setups and Brendan Croston and
Steve Schuhwerk both scored twice for Andover;
Jared Grondin and Stephen Donelan scored 1:59 apart in the first period
and Concord nipped Waltham, 3-1; Ronan Cunningham pitched a shutout and Ben
Lavoie got the puck past Greg Knowles with 1:45 left to give Marblehead a 1-0
decision over Masco; Danny Tighe had two goals and an assist and Reading
defeated Arlington, 4-2; Will Doran set up two goals in the first period and
Lexington/Bedford nipped Chelmsford, 3-1; Trevor Lachance wore the hat and Owen
McCarthy had 1-2-3 as the Gladiators beat Nashua, 6-1; Alex Matho had 1-2-3,
Evan DiPietro and Pat Norton 1-1-2 apiece and Victor Kratik lost a shutout with
1:25 left as S&S beat North Reading, 5-1; and Greg Gill pitched a shutout,
MikeZampanti had 1-2-3, Henry Brooks 1-1-2 and Devon Wall two assists in
Winthrop’s 4-0 win over Masco.
BLUE DIVISIONS Maples won twice. Dave Batterton scored all four goals and
Kevin Thibodeau pitched a shutout in a 4-0 win over Billerica – and Andrew
Siemasko had 2-1-3, Jack Aponas scored twice and Zach Lennon had 1-1-2 in a 6-3
victory over Woburn, which got two goals from Bishop and 1-1-2 from Doherty;
Robert Gray scored the winner with 5:52 left, Louis
Staffieri scored twice and Marc Faia had two assists as Malden/East Boston
topped Concord-Carlisle, 5-2 – Jeff Costanza with 1-1-2 in the loss; Eric
Steeves scored twice and Tim Benoit had two assists in Wilmington’s 3-1 win
over Burlington; Lilley’s second goal of the game, with 1:24 left, gave North
Reading a 3-3 tie with Acton-Boxboro, which got two goals from Mike Immerman;
Colbert scored twice, Paonessa had two assists and Dufour pitched a shutout in
Stoneham’s 5-0 victory over Newton; James Turner posted 2-2-4 and Ricky Calvani
1-1-2 in Agawam’s 6-3 win over Salem, which got 1-1-2 from Aidan Breenb and two
assists from Jacob Sylvester; and DanHennessey set up all four goals and Adam
Ziady scored two of them in Winchester’s 4-2 win over Methen.
RED DIVISIONS Nolan Heinze wore the hat and had an assist, Connor Welch had 2-1-3, Will Poirier
1-1-2 and Eric Hall pitched a shutout in North Andover’s 8-0 win over Beverly;
Pat Hurley and JerryO’Brien scored two goals apiece and Will Chouinard pitched
a shutout in Medford’s 5-0 victory over Maples; Liam Hickey scored the winner
with 2:25 left and Ryan Fu scored twice as Newburyport edged Marblehead, 3-2;
Molly Barrow pitched a shutout and RebeccaGilmore had 2-1-3 as the Wizards
defeated Groton, 3-0; John Barry pitched a shutout and Robbie Farrell and Shawn
Hallion scored 23 seconds apart late in the first period as Chelmsford beat
Woburn, 3-0; Jack Philbrick and Joel Boulanger both scored twice and Josh
Johnston and Alex Killian both had two assists in Concord’s 6-3 win over
Saugus, which got 1-1-2 from Horvath; Joe Carroll scored twice in Stoneham’s
3-1 win over the Wizards; Jack Fougere capped a hat trick with goals with 5:33
and 2:18 left and Maples pulled out a 3-2 decision over Wakefield, which tied
the game again at 2-2-2 on a goal by PatLeary; and Evan Connors and Jeremiah
Latham both posted 1-01-2 and Hollis topped Twin City, 5-3 – Connor Moran with
1-1-2 and Derrick Leger two assists in the loss.
SILVER DIVISIONS Abby Furdick scored with 50 seconds left in the first
period, and the Wizards and Concord-Carlisle went on to a 1-1 tie; Andrew
Miller scored twice, snapping a 1-1 tie with 2:59 left, and Luc Dallaire had
two assists as Waltham nipped Groton, 3-1; Gill went for two goals and four
assists, Tibbetts scored five goals, DiSciullo had a goal and four assists and
McHale and Anderson shared the shutout as Danvers skated to a big win over
Lynnfield; PJ McCarthy collected 2-2-4, Nick Nadeau had 1-2-3 and Tommy
Hopkinson 1-1-2 in Reading’s 5-3 win over Winchester; John Cataldo scored with
1:45 left to give S&S a 1-1 tie with Arlington, which got a first-period
goal from Mike Mazzei; and Tony Columbus had 2-1-3, Mike Noke also scored twice
and Darwin Carozza had 1-1-2 in Nashua’s 7-1 win over Andover.
GOLD DIVISIONS Wakefield beat Woburn IV twice and Woburn III had a win and
a tie. Eric Devlin and JoeBucciero scored in Wakefield’s 2-1 win – and Devlin
scored early in a 1-0 decision (coaches, a goalie for the shutout???); Matt
Trotta scored with 9:58 left to give Woburn III a 2-1 victory over Methuen –
and Ric DiFronzo scored with 7:13 left to give Tewksbury a 1-1 tie, after Dan
DeAlemedia scored with 11:19 left for Woburn;
Adam Deakin wore the hat, Sebastian Alvarez scored twice and
Anthony DeAngelis had 1-1-2 as Lexington/Bedford topped Newburyport, 8-1;
Carter Leary scored twice, TommyBennett had 1-1-2 and Zach Innis two assists
in Masco’s 5-2 win over Reading; John Cuokos scored twice and Tim Paquette,
Tyler Willen and Ethan Roberts all had 1-1-2 in Portland’s 9-2 win over Lynn;
and Matt Moran’s 1-1-2 helped Waltham past Acton-Boxboro, which got 1-1-2 from
Cam Kassam.
GRAY DIVISIONS Medford had a win and a tie. Billy Crowley scored two goals
in 2:36 late and GiovaniPicariello also scored twice in a 5-3 win over Andover
– and Piciarello scored with 6:25 left to give Medford a 3-3 tie with Andover,
which got two goals from Mike Rosen;
Margaret Sullivan scored twice and Tess Martin had 1-1-2 as
the Wizards topped Twin City, 6-1; No. 16 scored twice and Chelmsford beat
Concord-Carlisle, 5-2; Scott Downs scored with 10:31 left to give Winchester a
1-1 tie with Melrose, which got a second-period goal from Aidan Crowley; Tyler
Barnhardt pitched a shutout and Nick Parent scored the game’s only goal with 49
seconds left as Haverhill/Pentucket edged Arlington, 1-0; Josh Tassinari scored
what turned out to be the winner with 9:40 left and Tucker Atkinson scored
twice as Marblehead edged Wilmington, 4-3 – Matt Blair with two goals in the
loss; Matt Bosco scored both goals and North Andover nipped Saugus, 2-1; and
No. 45 wore the hat, Tyler Pouliot had 2-1-3, Ian Ring 1-2-3 and Evan Johnson
two assists as Maples defeated Groton, 8-2.
BLACK Jack Ryan Johansen had 2-1-3 and Cody Spring also scored
twice in Nashua’s 6-2 win over Newton; Ricky Orphanos scored the winner with
7:30 left, Sean O’Grady had 1-01-2 and Samantha Murphy two assists in
Stoneham’s 3-2 decision over Burlington; and KianHershberger posted 2-1-3,
Seth Isaacson also scored twice and Tim Edson had two assists as
Lexington/Bedford beat Waltham, 5-3 – Fred Herlihy with 1-1-2 and Nicole Legere
two assists in the loss.
