WHITE DIVISIONS Woburn had a win and a tie. Mike Balleani had a goal and an
assist in a 5-2 victory over Chelmsford – and Mike Walsh capped a hat trick
with 48.1 seconds left to give Winchester a 5-5 tie with Woburn, which got a
hat trick from Riley Duran and 1-1-2 from NickDantuono;
Matt Cormier scored four goals and assisted on two others,
Jack Lawn had a goal and an assists and JT Logue two assists in Waltham’s 7-2
win over Arlington, which got both goals from Brendan Jones and assists on both
from Tommy DiCarlo; Jacob Grossi-Hoag wore the hat in Newburyport’s 4-2 victory
over Danvers; Braden Doyle came through with two goals and two assists as
Lynnfield stopped North Andover, 6-2 – Nolan Whitlock with both goals in the
loss; Eric Ash wore the hat and had an assist and Brendan Fay and Zachary
Abruzzese both had 1-1-2 in Reading’s 7-1 win over Andover; Thor Griffith wore
the hat, Sam Colangelo scored twice and Mike Lucy had two assists in
Wakefield’s 7-4 victory over Wilmington, which got two goals each from
Kippenberger and Ricci; Urquhart delivered 1-1-2 in Burlington’s 5-3 win over
Greater Lowell, which got two goals from Nick Mandeville; Diego Alvarez-Segee
scored the winner with 6:24 left and JoeCross had two assists as Saugus edged
Newton, 3-2; and Ben Asselin scored his second goal of the game with 4:20 left,
Tom Hassett followed with the winner 56 seconds later and Matt Asselin had two
assists as Greater Lowell nipped Burlington, 3-2, despite two goals by
Urquhart.
BLUE DIVISIONS Lexington/Bedford had a win and a tie. Luke Khozozian had
2-1-3 and Griffin Posey and Williams Jennings 1-1-2 apiece in a 6-1 victory
over Cape Ann – and Khozozian (2-1-3) scored with 3:10 left and again with 21
seconds on the clock for the tie, John Dale had 2-1-3 and Joe Fernandes, Anthony
Incerto and Wesley Gierkink all had 1-1-2 as L/B pulled out a wild 8-8 tie with
Marblehead, which got hat tricks from Will Shull and KyleFurey and two assists
from Max Murray;
Henry Cabot pitched a shutout and Jack Cronin had 1-1-2 in
Agawam’s 3-0 win over Tewksbury; Brian Chalmers collected 2-1-3, Noah
Evangelista 1-1-2 and LukeEvangelista two assists in Winthrop’s 6-3 win over
Masco, which got 2-1-3 from Matt Major and two assists from Matt Walsh; Jack
St. Pierre scored four goals and assisted on another and Darren Cagnina had
1-2-3 in Portland’s 6-4 victory over Melrose, which got two goals from Cody
Porcello and 1-1-2 from Sean Senier; and Donovan scored twice and Devin had
1-1-2 in Lynn’s 4-1 win over Haverhill/Pentucket.
RED DIVISIONS Jeff Floramo wore the hat and had three assists, Cole
DiSilvio posted 2-1-3, ClaytonMarengi 1-2-3 and Rob Tashijian two assists in
Lynnfield 7-1 win over Medford; ZackPrendergast scored with 26 seconds left gave Nashoba a 3-3 tie with Waltham,
which got 1-1-2 from Matt Johnson, Julian Yang, Liam Scanlon and Sean Simpson
scored in a 3:36 span of the second period as Nashua defeated Arlington, 4-1;
Ryan Lehan had 2-1-3, Zack Lever also scored twice and Colin Richmond, Nick
Muzi and William Smith all had 1-1-2 in Newburyport’s 7-2 win over Wilmington;
Nick Napolitano scored his second goal of the game with 14 seconds left to give
Everett a 3-3 tie with Salem, which got all, three goals from Mason Drouin;
Will Lawson (1-1-2) and No. 11 scored 58 seconds apart midway through the third
period to give Wilmington a 3-02 decision over North Reading; Joey Pisa and
Shane Cassidy both scored twice and Shane Corcoran had 1-1-2 in Beverly’s 5-3
victory over the Wizards, who got two goals from Katie Armstrong; JamesDonahue
scored twice and Reading topped Peabody, 3-1; and Kohan had 2-1-3 and Beevers
1-1-2 in Triton’s 5-1 win over Methuen.
SILVER DIVISIONS Burlington had two wins and Tewksbury a win and a tie. Jack
Jay scored four goals and assisted on another and Anthony Dalessio 1-1-2 in
Burlington’s 7-4 win over Stoneham, which got a hat trick from Matt Soucy – and
John Condon had 1-1-2 and Jay another goal in a 4-2 decision over Andover;
Shane Mercuri scored with 7:35 left to give Tewksbury a 3-2 win over Groton –
and No. 38 scored with 6:03 left to give Woburn a 2-2 tie with Tewksbury, which
got 1-1-2 from Mercuri;
Caleb Amidon wore the hat and Harrison Southwick added two
assists in Groton’s 5-2 win over Wakefield; Mike Chabra scored twice, Dulan
Emery and Charlie Presho both had 1-1-2 and Sydney Cone two assists in
Reading’s 5-2 win over Stoneham; Kyle Wizst had 1-1-2 and Nashoba defeated
Melrose, 3-1; and Angelo Mario scored four goals and Mike Bongiorno had two
assists in Winchester’s 4-2 victory over Haverhill/Pentucket, which got both
goals from Ray Robinson.
GOLD DIVISIONS Cael Kohan tied the game with 4:08 left and Brad Killion
then scored his second of the game with 11 seconds for the win, while Aidan
Lowry had 1-1-02 as Triton edged Chelmsford, 4-3 – Mike Conner with 1-1-2 in
the loss; and Lawn and Borelli both scored twice and Ricci pitched a shutout in
Watertown’s 5-0 victory over the Reading Girls.
GRAY DIVISIONS Vedder scored five goals and assisted on another, Lydon
posted a goal and four assists, DeMarco also wore the hat, adding an assist,
and Owens had 1-2-3 in Reading’s 10-3 win over Marblehead; Carlton Reister had
2-1-3 and Nick Maddison also scored twice in Lynnfield’s 6-2 win over Woburn,
which got 1-1-2 apiece from Anthony Fabrizio and NikitaKovinsky; Brennan Fiske
wore the hat and Charlie Bijesse lost a shutout bid when Ashok Arun scored with
27 seconds left in Lexington/Bedford’s 4-1 win over Nashua; Riley Fitzgerald
had 1-2-3 and Wilmington topped Melrose, 4-1; and Liam Fitzgerald’s goal in the
second period turned out to be the winner as Woburn edged Lynnfield, 3-2.
BLACK Methuen won twice. Aidan Hollingsworth wore the hat and Matt
Mothon scored twice in a 5-1 win over Haverhill/Pentucket – and Mothon wore the
hat and had two assists, scoring two late goals for the win, and Joe Bradley
had 1-1-2 in Methuen’s 8-6 win over Andover V, which got four goals from Anthony
Previte and two from Owen Burke;
Tyler Robinson and Brandon Farrin both posted 2-1-3, Brian
Taylor scored twice in the first period and Gavin Nareski had 1-1-2 as Danvers
beat Newton, 9-2 – Graham Buckton with 1-1-2 in the loss; Jason Capelo’s second
goal of the game, with 9:22 left, turned out to be the winner as Burlington
edged North Andover, 4-3 – No. 29 with all three goals in the loss; Logan
Campbell capped a hat trick with the winner with 8:05 left and Chris O’Grady
had two assists in Masco’s 4-3 decision over Nashoba, which got two goals from
Dan Capelo; and Storm Davis scored the winner in the second period as North
Reading topped Andover VI, 4-2.
