Squirt - Week Ending March 7
WHITE DIVISIONS
Concord and Winchester both won twice and Methuen and Masco both had a win and a tie, the tie against each other. Connor Beatty scored twice and Lenny Brooks and Connor Sackos both had a goal and an assist in Concord’s 5-1 victory over Chelmsford – and Beatty delivered two goals and an assist, Ethan Donlan had 1-2-3, Jason Bogacz also scored twice, Andrew Contrada and Ben Tardiff both posted 1-1-2 and Sackos two assists in a 10-2 handling of NH East; Joe Lepore scored four goals in Winchester’s 5-3 win over Reading – and Aiden Steckel delivered 1-2-3 and Mike Drew, Henry Colvin and Adam Ziady all had 1-1-2 in a 6-3 victory over Waltham, which got two goals from Gerard Jelloe; Andrius Kulbis-Marino had 2-1-3 and Alex Graves had 1-2-3 in Methuen’s 5-1 win over North Reading; Nathan Bargman had 2-1-3 and Jake McKenna also scored twice in Masco’s 6-1 victory over Newburyport – and Jake McKenna scored the tying goal with 2:09 left and Bargman scored twice as Masco pulled out a 3-3 tie with Methuen, which got 1-1-2 from Graves;


AJ McKearney wore the hat and had an assist and Josh Buske posted 1-2-3 in Wilmington’s 5-2 win over Andover, which got 1-1-2 from Kyle Getty; Anthony Bono wore the hat, scoring all three goals in a 3-1 Saugus win over the Wizards; John Stringer wore the hat and had an assist, Justin Danis had 2-1-3, Pat Scanlon 1-2-3 and Matt Corrieri 1-1-2 in North Reading’s 7-4 win over Newburyport, which got 2-1-3 from Kevin Murphy and 1-1-2 from Matt Farrell; and Jack Pinard pitched a shutout and Mike Mazzei had 1-2-3 in Arlington’s 4-0 won over Reading.


BLUE DIVISIONS
Nick Salgado wore the hat, Ryan Noonan had two assists and Anthony Giuliano pitched a shutout in Malden/East Boston’s 4-0 win over Wakefield; Derek DiRaffaele scored twice, Shea Champagne had 1-1-2 and Justin Crowley two assists as Melrose defeated Stoneham, 6-1; Sean McNall scored twice, Tom Lucey had two assists and Brian Cannatta lost a shutout bid when Jerry O’Brien scored with 1:04 left in Wakefield’s 5-1 victory over Medford; Josh Palatime had 1-2-3 and Matt Bosco scored twice in North Andover’s 3-1 win over Lynnfield; Jake Langone had three assists, Nathan Rich scored twice and Tyler Marley had 1-1-2 in Winthrop’s 5-1 victory over S&S; Jacob Garfield delivered 1-1-2 and Marblehead edged Lexington/Bedford, 3-2; Mike Corrado had 2-2-4, Brendan Parent wore the hat and Josh Lariviere added two assists in Nashua’s 6-3 victory over PAT, which got 1-1-2 from Cody Allard; and Manzi’s second goal of the game, with 7:56 left, turned out to be the winner and Steed had 1-1-2 as Woburn nipped Lynn, 5-4 – Travis Ryan with two goals in the loss.

RED DIVISIONS
Marblehead won twice. Tom Brant had a goal and an assist and Brooke Keough two assists in a 4-2 win over Winchester, which got two assists from Ethan Massat – and Tim Honan snapped a 1-1 tie with 1:40 left in a 4-1 decision over the Wizards;


Landon Krekorian posted 2-1-3 and Mike Borrelli also scored twice in Salem’s 5-1 win over Watertown; Stevie Osborne scored twice and Camden Parker and Robby O’Brien both had two assists in Winchester’s 4-1 victory over Chelmsford; Bruskiewitz had 2-1-3, Montepeluso 1-2-3, Rivet two goals and Durgin 1-1-2 in Nashoba’s 8-5 win over Danvers, which got two goals each from Jack O’Neill and Jared Mscisz; Sam Rennick posted 2-1-3 and Triton topped Tewksbury, 6-1; Andrew Poynton scored with 18 seconds left and Lexington/Bedford came from two goals down to tie Melrose, 2-2 – Anthony Ventura with both goals for Melrose; Matt Taylor wore the hat and Andrew Wessell and Robert Tibbetts both delivered 1-1-2 as Danvers beat Beverly, 6-2; Gianna Beauclair pitched a shutout, Hannah Freehill both scored twice and Alisa Canney had 1-1-2 as the Wizards beat North Reading, 4-0; Trevor Boyd had what proved to be the winner as Haverhill/Pentucket edged Methuen, 3-2 – Connor OMalley with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Chris Rudiger scored four goals and Jeff Costanza also wore a hat as Concord-Carlisle defeated Burlington, 8-1.


SILVER DIVISIONS
Jack Griffith scored with 7:39 left to give Waltham a 2-1 decision over Andover; Pat Guinee delivered 2-2-4, John Mondello wore the hat and Colby Mitchell had 2-1-3 in Cape Ann’s 8-2 win over Groton; Jeremy Pica pitched a shutout and Max Doherty scored early in the second period of Woburn’s 2-0 win over Nashoba; Aidan Levine and Jonathan Haley shared the shutout and Steve Foley and Nick Golini scored 1:46 apart in the first period of Medford’s 3-0 victory over the Andover Girls; Tom Harrington scored with 3:21 left to give Wakefield a 1-1 tie with Groton, which got a goal from Jared Breton with 12 seconds left in the second period; Aram Smith scored twice in the third period, the second goal coming with 3:17 left to give Andover a 2-1 decision over Cape Ann; Ian Krekorian scored 31 seconds into the third period to give Salem a 2-2 tie with Agawam; Owen Dubois posted 2-2-4 and No. 3 wore the hat in Portland’s 7-1 handling of Woburn; Nick Feliciano scored what proved to be the winner with 5:36 left and Mathew Johnson lost a shutout bed when Jack Malolepszy scored with 1:48 left as Stoneham nipped North Andover, 2-1; Alex Sepe had 2-1-3 and Tyler Petrillo had 1-1-2 in Nashoba’s 5-3 victory over Reading; and Jake Tveter and Andrew Gotts both scored twice, Dan McNamara had 1-1-2 and Alexa Matses added two assists in Masco’s 6-2 win over Newton, which got 1-1-2 from Ed Agamov and two assists from James Holland.


GOLD DIVISIONS

Chelmsford and Methuen both had a win and a tie, the tie coming against each other. Jake Hartshorn scored what proved to be the winner with 9:41 left, Connor Walsh set up both goals and Dylan McElhinney lost a shutout bid when Tristan Bourgeois scored with 3:46 left in a 2-1 Chelmsford win over Greater Lowell; Josh Small wore the hat and Matt Lane had 2-1-3 in Methuen’s 6-4 victory over Triton, which got 2-2-4 from Brock Roy and two goals from Dylan Leavitt  – and Chad Lizine scored the tying goal with 32.4 seconds left and Hartshorn posted 1-1-2 as Chelmsford pulled out a 4-4 tie with Methuen, which got a hat trick from Matt Lane and two assists from Ethan Bramante;


Liam Maguire and Jake McNeely both scored twice and Jack Crowley had 1-1-2 as Melrose defeated Lynnfield, 6-1; Devin Cotter scored early in Watertown’s 2-0 win over Acton-Boxboro (coaches, a goalie for the shutout????); Cam Smith pitched a shutout and Cormac Digilio scored twice as Danvers beat Cape Ann, 4-0; Megan Cooley’s goal with two seconds left in the second period gave the Wizards a 1-1 tie with Acton-Boxboro, which got a goal from Joe Lehner with 6:44 remaining; Jimmy Alcott had 1-1-2 and Saugus beat Burlington, 4-1; Jack Reeves tied the game with 2:26 left, Ryan Thibault followed with the winner with 1:38 on the clock aqnd No. 27 had 1-1-2 as Newburyport edged the Wizards, 4-3 – Halle Livermore with two goals in the loss; Max DuBois posted 2-1-3 and Dave McCabe had 1-1-2 in Newton’s 6-3 victory over Lynnfield, which got 1-1-2 from No. 9; Nicole Pollis pitched a shutout and Kelly Barbieri had 1-1-2 as the Newton Girls beat Tewksbury, 3-0; and John Spinelli scored twice, Max Doucette and Josh Fitzpatrick both had 1-1-2 and Nick Paolillo pitched a shutout in Tewsbury’s 6-0 win over Burlington.


GRAY DIVISIONS

Waltham had a win and a tie. Aidan Garagie wore the hat, Kasey Muizilis had three assists and Kyle Maher added 1-1-2 in Waltham’s 5-2 win over Saugus – and Kate Cardarelli scored with 48 seconds left in the second period to give Waltham a 2-2 tie with Nashoba;


DiFillippo pitched a shutout and Dylan Campbell scored with 3:57 left in the second period of Masco’s 3-0 win over Woburn; Jacob Ancri pitched a shutout and Trevor Wilson scored twice in North Reading’s 3-0 win over Newburyport; Tommy Duncan snapped a 2-2 tie with 5:24 left and Matt Garesche delivered 1-1-2 in Andover’s 4-2 win over Beverly, which got both goals from Garrett Hughey; Josh Joy scored early in PAT’s 1-0 win over Lexington/Bedford (coaches, a goalie for the shutout); Dylan Mackinnon scored four goals, Kyle Capelo had two goals and Conor Ross added two assists in Burlington’s 8-1 handling of Amesbury; Nally’s goal with 2:46 left in the second period led Wilmington to a 2-2 tie with Marblehead; Brandon Muise and Zack DeFreitas both wore hats to lead Peabody to a 7-4 win over Wakefield, which got 1-1-2 from Stephen Calandra; Gilligan delivered 2-1-3, Dorr also scored twice and No. 34 had two assists in Agawam’s 5-2 victory over Woburn; Matt Farrell capped a hat trick with the winning goal with 4:35 left, 1:42 after Zachary Brissette tied the game, Chris Wilson posting three assists, Tyler Veerman two goals and Nick Cecere two assists as Wakefield edged Groton, 7-6 – Trent Madigan with two goals and Yianni McSweeney 1-1-2 in the loss; Victoria Cusanello wore the hat, Gavin Prough posted 1-2-3, No. 1 scored twice and Paul Ursino delivered 1-1-2 in Lexington/Bedford’s 9-4 victory over Groton, which got two goals from Joe Gagnon; and Jacob Pineau (2-1-3) scored two goals in the last minute for the tie and Matt McLaughlin also scored twice as Reading pulled out a 5-5 tie with Burlington, which got a hat trick and an assist from Paul Barbieri and 1-1-2 from Mackinnon.


BLACK

Jake Mabardy wore the hat, scoring all three goals and Ricky Welch assisted on all three in Winchester’s 3-1 victory over Melrose; Jack McDermott scored twice and Jack Sauls and Adit Baruah both had 1-1-2 in North Andover’s 5-1 win over Winchester; Nick Wood’s second-period goal answered Yural Levy’s first-period score and gave Haverhill/Pentucket a 1-1 tie with Newton; Connor Dirks scored four goals, Jenna Bragalone and Alexis Saia both had 1-2-3, Cam Russo added 1-1-2 and Pete Barry lost a shutout bid when Colin Walsh scored with 58 seconds left in Stonehem’s 8-1 handling of Melrose; and Henri Stocker capped a hat trick with 37 seconds left to give Medford a 3-2 decision over Haverhill/Pentucket.
