and an assist in Burlington’s 8-3 win over Danvers; Thor Griffith scored five
goals, including a natural hat in the first period, and also had an assist in
Wakefield’s 7-3 victory over Reading; MacDonald scored twice in Nashoba’s 4-2
win over Woburn; Timmy Kippenberger scored four goals and Wilmington nipped
North Andover, 6-4 – Whitlock with two goals in the loss; Ben Pitts wore the
hat, Bobby Turner scored twice and Zack LeTendre had 1-1-2 in Chelmsford’s 7-2
win over Winchester; and Braden Doyle scored his second goal with 4:47 left and
then capped a hat trick with 2:18 remaining to give Lynnfield a 3-3 tie with
Waltham.
BLUE DIVISIONS Joe Fernandes and Luke Khozozian both scored twice in
Lexington/Bedford’s 5-2 win over Melrose, Max McDonough pitched a shutout and
Matt Sartorelli had a goal and an assist in Haverhill/Pentucket’s 2-0 victory
over Portland; Cory Cherico delivered 2-1-3, Brian Chalmers also scored twice,
Joe Deeb posted 1-1-2 and Luke Evangelista added two assists in Winthrop’s 7-1
handling of Agawam; Matt Walsh scored the tying goal with 17 seconds left and
Matt Major wore the hat as Masco pulled out a 6-6 tie with Tewksbury, which got
1-2-3 from Julia Masotta and two goals from Mike Arsenault; Jack Patten had
2-1-3, JacksonGress also scored twice and Shane Patrick had two assists in
Andover’s 7-2 win over Cape Ann; Magwood pitched a shutout and Patrie scored
late in the first period as Lynn edged Cape Ann, 1-0; Nick Wang wore the hat
and had two assists, Luke Foster collected 2-1-3, Max Gesner had 1-2-3, Phil
Resca also scored twice, Ben Raymond had 1-1-2 and Amanda Fogarty added two
assists in Newton’s 9-3 triumph over Amesbury.
RED DIVISIONS Wilmington won twice. Jared Russell scored his second goal
of the game with 3:59 left and Cam Banks followed with his second 51 seconds
later to produce a 4-3 decision over Newburyport – and Banks scored twice in a
6-2 victory over North Reading;
Mason Drouin wore the hat and had an assist and Brandon
Banks and Joey Carney both scored twice in Salem’s 8-2 win over Waltham; Girard
scored four goals and assisted on another, Potter and Khoda both wore hats and
had an assist and Belt added two assists in Triton’s 11-5 win over Peabody,
which got a hat trick from Jake Caruso and 1-1-2 from Ryan Bradley; Madeleine
Rinklin scored twice in the second period as Reading nipped Methuen, 4-2; Drew
Blackwell’s second goal of the game, with 5:49 left, turned out to be the
winner and Ryan Mackey also scored twice as Methuen edged the Wizards, 5-4 –
MollyGriffin with two goals and Brittany Foster 1-1-2 in the loss; Igor
Barinov scored twice in the third period, the winner with 2:22 left as Nashoba
got by Reading, 3-2; Nick Napolitano scored five goals and assisted on another,
Dante D’Ambrosio had two assists and Steven Diles lost a shutout bid on two
late goals as Everett/Revere beat Beverly, 6-2; and Nick Marino (1-1-2) capped
a four-goal third-period with the tying goal with 1:05 left and Sam Pifko and
Cole DiSilvio both posted 1-1-2 as Lynnfield pulled out a 5-5 tie with
Arlington, which got 2-2-4 from Will Clifford and two assists apiece from Jack
Houser and Jack Tahan.
SILVER DIVISIONS Newton and Woburn both won twice and Burlington earned a win
and a tie. AidanChamberlain scored six goals and assisted on another, Chris
Aucoin also wore the hat, adding an assist, Hunter Adam posted 2-2-4, Charlotte
Paquette 1-2-3 and Hart two goals in Newton’s wild 11-8 win over North Andover,
which got 2-2-4 from Malolepszy, two goals from Boyle and 1-1-2 from Heinze –
and Chamberlain and Adam both wore hats and Mike Lee and Chris Aucoin both had
two assists in a 7-2 victory over S&S; Concannon and J. Driscoll both
posted 2-1-3 and Brendline also scored twice in Woburn’s 8-4 win over Stoneham,
which got two goals from Matt Soucy – and Brendline snapped a 1-1 tie with 3:04
left in the second period of a 3-1 triumph over Masco; No. 10 had 1-1-2 and
Burlington edged Reading, 2-1 – and Kyle Grant scored with 3:45 left to give
Tewksbury a 1-1 tie with Burlington, which got a first period goal from No. 26;
Evan Arpin wore the hat, Sam Murray had 2-1-3 and Ben
Boutselis two assists in Andover’s 7-1 handling of Masco; Brooke Rosse scored
twice and Winchester stopped Melrose, 4-1; and Harty had the tying goal with
10:24 left and Malolepszy scored twice as North Andover pulled out a 4-4 tie
with Haverhill/Pentucket, which got two goals each from Ray Robinson and Luke
Tucker.
GOLD DIVISIONS Winchester had two ties. Sammy Vozzella scored his fifth
goal of the game to tie it with 1:07 left and Nathan Cavanaugh had three
assists as Winchester pulled out a 5-5 tie with Newburyport, which got a hat
trick from Seamus Webster, two goals from Ryan Archer and two assists from No.
6 – and Blake Johnson scored with 1:16 left as Amesburt came from down two
goals to tie Winchester, 2-2;
Dam Dimeglio had 1-1-2 in Lynn’s 3-1 win over Andover; Derek
Murray (1-1-2) snapped a 2-2 tie with 6:16 left as Medford beat Amesbury, 4-2;
Brady Lindholm scored with 1:14 left to give Triton a 3-2 decision over Greater
Lowell, which got 1-1-2 from Ethan Polcari; and Brenna Linnana pitched a
shutout and Jenna Seibold scored in the second period as the Reading Girls
edged Chelmsford, 1-0.
GRAY DIVISIONS Nashua won twice. Nathan Arsenault and Jake Hall both posted
1-1-2 in a 3-1 win over Woburn – and Liam Smith pitched a shutout and Nick
Wollrath scored in the second period of a 2-0 victory over Woburn;
Jackson Stuzynski wore the hat, Joey Palomba had three
assists, Brian Gillis scored twice and Charlie Bijesse pitched a shutout as
Lexington/Bedford beat Groton, 7-0; Maddison scored twice in Lynnfield’s 4-0
win over PAT (coaches, a goalie for the shutout????); Casey Jackson scored the
winner with 46 seconds left and Maggie Pelletier scored twice as the Andover
Girls nipped Cape Ann, 3-2; Nick Miller (2-1-3) scored the tying goal with two
seconds left and Kyle Krawczyk also had 2-1-3 as PAT pulled out a 5-5 tie with
Wakefield, which got 2-2-4 from Pat Collins and 2-1-3 from GabeBrissette;
Jason LaCortiglia wore the hat and had an assist, Eric Platcow assisted on
three goals and Liam Crowley had 1-1-2 as Melrose nipped Marblehead, 6-4 –
AnthonyFresolone with two goals in the loss; and Riley Fitzgerald scored with
6:48 left, AnthonyCuozzo scaored with 2:46 on the clock and Fitzgerald
followed again 30 seconds later for the win, while Matt Ardito posted 1-3-4 in
Wilmington’s 5-3 win over Reading, which got two goals from Vedder.
BLACK Pat Haney wore the hat, Ryan Allard collected 2-1-3 and
Jacob Brezner had 1-1-2 in Andover VI’s 8-4 win over Burlington, which got
1-1-2 from Joe Barbieri; Evan Oberton and Jake Innis both scored twice and
Chris O’Grady had two assists in Masco’s 5-3 win over Winthrop, which got two
goals from Sam Yarrow and 1-1-2 from Maddison Silverman; Hallion had two goals
and three assists and Tardif also scored twice in Newton’s 5-3 win over Andover
V; Evan Steele wore the hat and had an assist, AlexVerColen posted 1-2-3, Jack
Donohue posted three assists and Jake VerColen added 1-1-2 in North Reading’s
7-4 victory over Newton, which got all four goals from AneelChittilappily; CJ
Pacifico had 2-1-3 and Nashoba defeated Haverhill/Pentucket, 5-2 – Kevin Veno
with two assists in the loss – and Jim Boyle scored his fourth goal of the
game, with 3:51 left, to give North Andover a 4-4 tie with Danvers, which had
gone ahead when Tom Walfield scored 18 seconds earlier.
