Bantam - Week Ending February 14
WHITE DIVISIONS

New Hampshire East and Beverly both won twice. Tom Maguire, who already had a goal and an assist, scored the winner with one second left and John Douglass scored twice in NH East’s 4-3 decision over Salem, which got two goals from Dylan Yameen – and Ryan Sullivan scored twice and Maguire and Grant Antkowiak both had a goal and an assist in a 6-3 win over Burlington, which got 1-1-2 from CJ Grinnell; Jesse MacLaughlin posted 2-2-4, Ben Albert 1-3-4 and Jack Atherton and Ted Leathersich 1-1-2 apiece in Beverly’s 7-4 victory over Reading, which got 2-1-3 from Phelan and 1-1-2 apiece from Face and Kilban – and Leathersich capped a three-goal rally over a 3:48 span of the second period that lifted Beverly past Chelmsford, 3-2;


Matt Kiernan scored twice and Dylan Meadows and Anthony Lespasio both had 1-1-2 aqs Lexington/Bedford topped Woburn, 6-1; Alex Joyce delivered 2-1-3, Josh Gordon had 1-2-3, No. 9 also scored twice and Connor Kee also had two assists in Newton’s 6-1 win over Woburn; Dave Troiano scored two goals and assisted on three others, Brendan Greene collected 2-2-4, Nolan Redler had three assists, Dan Durgin scored twice and Danny Marx had two assists in Winchester’s 7-5 win over Stoneham, which got 2-1-3 from Connor Dolan and 1-1-2 from Mic Coppola; Stephen Comar erupted for six goals and an assist, James Remmes posted 1-2-3, Eric Profeanno had 1-1-2 and Cam Jackman and Josh Pelletier both added two assists in Portland’s 11-3 handling of Reading, which got 1-2-3 from Shea and 1-12 from McFarland; Kenny Sturgess pitched a shutout and No. 10 scored with 5:30 left to give Salem a 1-0 win over Nashua; and Petroccione scored twice and Hodgkins had 1-1-2 as Danvers beat Burlington, 4-1.

 

BLUE DIVISIONS

Greater Lowell won twice and Concord went 1-1-1. Craig Harper’s second goal of the game turned out to be the winner as Greater Lowell beat Concord, 4-2, despite two goals by Dakota Tyno – and Mat Barter and Pat Silk both scored twice, Nick Cohgan and Nick Hayward both had 1-1-2 and Tim O’Brien posted two assists in a 7-4 win over Concord-Carlisle, which got a hat trick from Nick Finan; Tyno scored five goals, including four straight, Travis Beacchain had three assists, Brooke Avey scored twice and Lee Carter pitched a shutout in an 8-0 handling of Salem – and Carter pitched another shutout, but so did Wakefield’s Mike Melaqnson as the teams skated to a 0-0 tie;


Dan Eruzione scored five goals and assisted on another, Page scored twice and Skoczylas and Goddard both had two assists in Winthrop’s 8-3 win over Melrose, which got 1-2-3 from Chris O’Sullivan; Rossetti and No. 77 both posted 1-2-3 and Foley had 1-1-2 in Wilmington’s 4-2 win over Haverhill/Pentucket; Shea scored two early goals, Corbelle also scored twice, Maida had 1-1-2 and McCaffery and Renbzulli both added two assists in Triton’s 7-1 win over Saugus; Modello (two goals) and No. 1 scored 23 seconds apart late in the first period as Cape Ann beat Masco, 4-2; Crowley scored the tying goal with 58 seconds left and Graham had 1-1-2 as Newburyport pulled out a 3-3 tie with Waltham, which got two goals from Eric Fox and 1-1-2 from Ronnie MacDougall; Brandon McCarthy scored twice and Jake Jordan and Brendon Kelso both had 1-1-2 in Stoneham’s 5-2 victory over Reading; CJ Foti’s goal late in the second period proved to be the winner as Tewksbury edged Nashoba, 3-2; Ben Marchand scored twice and Chilly Sample had 1-1-2 as Concord-Carlisle beat Triton, 4-1; and Andrew Berardi and Mark Roberto shared the shutout and Tim Savage posted 1-1-2 in Burlington’s 4-0 win over Haverhill/Pentucket.


RED DIVISIONS

AJ Bender pitched a shutout and Steve Barton ended the shutout bid of Andrew Spaulding and Macallan Sutton with a goal with 2:56 left as Nashua edged Lexington/Bedford, 1-0; Meuse scored the winner with 2:06 left and Gentile had two assists as Wilmington got by Watertown, 2-1; Robert Bastarache had 2-1-3 and Matt Albanna had 1-2-3 in Waltham’s 6-1 win over Haverhill/Pentucket; No. 5 scored with 1:24 left to give S&S a 2-1 verdict over Methuen; Ciampo pitched a shutout, Normand scored both goals and Fitzpatrick assisted on both in Cape Ann’s 2-0 win over Peabody; Alex Farrell posted 2-1-3 in Malden’s 4-2 victory over Methuen; James Reposa was in goal for Arlington and Nelson for Medford in a 0-0 tie; Dan Geary pitched a shutout and Zack Armand had 1-1-2 as Danvers beat Lexington/Bedford, 4-0; Steve Maxim scored what proved to be the winner with 6:35 left, Kevin Montbleau scored twice and Andrew Sylvester and Ricky Beckwith both had 1-1-2 as Greater Lowell pulled out a 5-4 win over Beverly, which got a hat trick from Will Carpenter and two assists apiece from Pat Porter and Evan Dombroski; John Close had what proved to be the winner with 7:27 left as Newton got by North Andover, 3-2; and Drew Beaupre collected 2-1-3 and Chris Cyr assisted on three goals in Newburyport’s 5-2 win over Greater Lowell.


SILVER DIVISIONS

Everett/Revere and Stoneham both won twice and Newburyport had a win and a tie. Marc Centrella scored four goals, including a natural hat in the second period, Sebastian Sidney also wore a hat, Derek Bankas had three assists and Ryan Joaquim two in a big Everett/Revere win over Woburn – and Cam Whalen had 1-1-2 and Everett/Revere got goals from seven different players in a 7-4 victory over Salem; Alex Ryan chipped in with 2-1-3 and Stoneham beat Salem, 3-1 – and Anthony Cappuccio wore the hat and had two assists, Ryan had 1-1-2 and Pat Doherty two assists in an 8-2 handling of Tewksbury; Matt Caswell scored twice and Bryce Cahill and Mike Corbett both had two assists in Newburyport’s 4-2 win over Woburn – and  Kevin Terban (1-1-2) scored with 54 seconds left, Pat Farrell followed with his second with 20 seconds remaining as Newburyport rallied for a 5-5 tie with Salem, Cahill with two assists for Newburyport and No. 16 with 2-1-3 for Salem;


Mike Duggan (1-1-2) had the tying goal in the second period as Maples tied Groton, 3-3; No. 8 with 1-1-2 for Groton; Fred Pendleton scored with 29 seconds remaining to give Tewksbury a 2-2 tie with Nashoba; Jack Lloyd scored with 8:24 left gave Winthrop a 2-2 tie with Burlington; Hogan and Kenniston both had 1-2-3, Donovan scored twice, Capano had 1-1-2 and Powell pitched a shutout in Lynn’s 6-0 win over North Reading; Brian Burns (1-1-2) and Doug Benson (1-1-2) scored 35 seconds apart late to give Andover a 2-2 tie with North Reading, which got two assists from Mahoney; Anderson pitched a shutout and No. 3 scored twice in Masco’s 3-0 win over Maples; and Tom Skolki had 1-1-2 and Brian Robinson scored what proved to be the winner midway through the third period as Chelmsford edged PAT, 3-2 – Dan McNamara with both PAT goals.


GOLD

Wilmington won twice. Sam Feinstein scored twice, Robert Fullerton had 1-1-2, Mike Baker added two assists and Brodie Curtis lost a shutout when Johnny Sava scored with 13 seconds left to give Wilmington a 4-1 win over Newton – and Gabriel David delivered 2-1-3, Robert Mailey had 1-2-3 and Jonathan Mills added two assists in a 4-2 win over Haverhill/Pentucket;


Brett Pearson scored twice and Jake Sengstaken had two assists as Hollis beat Nashua, 4-2 – James Whalen with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Curtis Cunningham posted 2-2-4, Trenton King also scored twice, Brian Daly and Frank Soucy both had 1-1-2 and CJ Mansfield two assists as Danvers beat Cape Ann, 8-1.
