Squirt - Week Ending February 7
WHITE DIVISIONS

Chelmsford had two ties. Ricky Kennedy’s goal with 4:57 left in the second period produced a 2-2 tie with NH East, which got both goals from Jake Vadeboncoeur – and Bill Jacobs scored his second goal with 30 seconds left and Dom Tocci assisted on both as Casco Bay pulled out a 2-2 tie with Chelmsford, with all goals in the game scored in the final 7:28;


Morgan Griffin scored with 4:18 left to give the Wizards a 1-1 tie with Masco, which got an early goal from Jake McKenna; Chris Lattini scored four goals, Matt O’Rourke had 2-1-3 and Codey Kaczynski added two assists in Methuen’s 6-3 win over Newburyport, which got 1-1-2 from Frankie Kearnrey; Sal Costanzo scored twice and Cape Ann defeated Andover, 5-3 – Kyle Getty with two goals and Charlie Stahley 1-1-2 in the loss; Alex Daly wore the hat and had an assist and Tyler Willen added two assists in Newton’s 4-1 win over Agawam; Conlon Kain scored twice, Drew Eid had 1-1-2 and Hunter Mahoney two assists as the Renegades topped Waltham, 5-2; Connor Beatty posted 2-1-3, Josh Johnston had three assists and Jason Bogacz scored twice in Concord’s 7-3 victory over Burlington, which got two goals from Browne and two assists from Ryan; and Henry Osborn and Henry Forcier scored a minute apart in the first period as Waltham nipped Burlington, 3-1.


BLUE DIVISIONS

Melrose won twice and Casco Bay had three wins and a loss. Derek DiRaffaele scored two late goals as Melrose defeated Marblehead, 3-1 – and Justin Crowley had 1-1-2 and Corbin White scored what proved to be the winner with 1:33 left in the second period of a 3-2 decision over Casco Bay, which got 1-1-2 from Ryan Megathlin; Andrew Ray had what proved to be the winner with 7:04 left, Mason Martell posted 1-1-2 and Alex Grade two assists in Casco Bay’s 4-3 win over Woburn, which got two assists from Steed; Martell (2-1-3) scored two goals in 13 seconds late in a four-goal Casco second period, Ray had 1-2-3 and Grade three assists in a 5-2 win over Medford, which got two goals from Liam Brennan, 1-1-2 from Lou Mainella and two assists from Ben Coit – and Ray delivered 1-2-3, Sean Mahoney scored twice and Megathlin and Charlie Emple both had 1-1-2 in a big win over Wakefield;


Tyler Marley collected a goal and three assists, Nathan Rich wore the hat, Andrew DiMento had 2-1-3, Henry Brooks 1-1-2 and No. 8 two assists in Winthrop’s 8-3 victory over PAT, which got two goals from Connor Viviano; Mike Corrado wore a natural hat in the third period and had an assist to carry Nashua to a 5-2 win over Lynnfield, which got both goals from Jonah Carlson; Sean McNall’s second goal of the game, with 1:18 left, gave Saugus a 4-4 tie with Lynn, which got 1-1-2 apiece from Travis Ryan and Sean Devon; Sebastian Alvarez (1-1-2) snapped a 2-2 tie with 7:16 left as Lexington/Bedford topped Stoneham, 4-2; Nolan Whitlock had 1-2-3 and Rob Carpenter 1-1-2 in North Andover’s 5-1 win over Winthrop; Nick Salgado’s second goal of the game, with 23 seconds left, was the winner and Ryan Noonan had two assists as Malden/East Boston pulled out a 4-2 win over Lexington/Bedford, which got two goals from Sal Frelick and 1-1-2 from Chris Leary; and Jake Burridge wore the hat and No. 15 added 1-1-2 in Stoneham’s 6-1 victory over Waltham.


RED DIVISIONS

Lexington/Bedford won twice. Cooper Giesen wore the hat and Cooper Eastridge (1-1-2) snapped a 3-3 tie with 3:38 left as Lexington/Bedford defeated the Wizards, 5-3, Katerina Nikolopoulos with 1-1-2 in the loss – and Eastridge scored twice and Xavier Marcoux had 1-1-2 in a 5-2 victory over the NS Vipers, who got both goals from Richards;


Brendon Youmall and Pat Connor shared the shutout and Jack Murphy scored twice in the second period of Arlington’s 3-0 win over Tewksbury; Matt Ringdahl set up three goals, Ben Castonguay and Chris Erwin both scored two and Liam Bowser had 1-1-2 in Chelmsford’s 6-4 win over Marblehead, which got 1-1-2 from Paul Duffy; Mike Rosen’s 1-1-2 helped Andover past North Reading, 4-1; Gavin Dauer scored twice, Adam Burns and Henry Sergenian both had 1-1-2 and Henry Lawrence added two assists in Winchester’s 5-2 win over Methuen, which got two assists from Justin Pitari; Kevin Thibodeau pitched a shutout and Jason Corsetti had two assists in the final 7:27 in Triton’s 2-0 win over Watertown; Tim McCarthy wore the hat and Colin Desmond had two assists in Beverly’s 5-3 victory over Reading, which got two goals from Garrett Hoag; Mike Borrelli scored twice, Joe Moore assisted on both and Salem struck for three goals in a 3:29 span early in the second period to top Concord-Carlisle, 3-2 – Jeff Costanza with both goals in the loss: Eric Ouellette had 1-1-2 in Tewksbury’s 3-1 win over Haverhill; and Loeser wore a third-period hat and had two assists, Cappolla scored twice and Anderson and McLaughlin both had two assists in Everett/Revere’s 8-6 win over Wilmington, which got 1-2-3 from Dave Peterson, two goals from Chris Spinazola and 1-1-2 from Jared Homola.


SILVER DIVISIONS

Agawam won twice and Andover had a win and a tie. Amorello and Werner both had 1-1-2 in Agawam’s 4-2 victory over the Andover Girls – and No. 57 scored twice, Amorello had 1-1-2 and Strong two assists in an 8-4 triumph over Stoneham; Scott Dalton wore the hat and had two assists and Mike Hughey scored twice in Andover’s 6-4 win over Newburyport, which got two goals from Mollie Sullivan and two assists from Molly LaLiberty – and Vivien Rindisbacher scored the tying goal with 31.9 seconds left and Johnny Kanteros scored twice as Newton pulled out a 4-4 tie with Andover, which got 2-1-3 from Dalton;


Matt Lawn (1-1-2) scored the winner in the second period and Cam Antonellis scored twice in Waltham’s 4-3 decision over Reading, which got 2-1-3 from Brendan Donovan; Khoda scored twice and Kohan had 1-1-2 in Triton’s 5-1 win over Beverly; Joe Kenney set up three goals and Tyler Guillemette scored two in Nashoba’s 4-1 win over Masco; Owen Dubois wore the hat, Nathan Rutherford scored twice and Trenton Ouellette and Colby Anton both had 1-1-2 in Portland’s 9-1 win over Wakefield; Matt McBride delivered 2-2-4, Dan DeAlmeida (1-1-2) scored what proved to be the winner with 9:09 left and Max Doherty also had 1-1-2 in Woburn’s 5-4 win over Groton, which got 1-1-2 from James Driscoll; and Steve Foley (2-2-4) scored the tying goal with 4:20 left and Billy Crowley had 1-1-2 as Medford pulled out a 4-4 tie with North Andover, which got four goals from Nick Oliveri and three assists from Mike Samse.


GOLD DIVISIONS

Sal Caterina wore the hat and had an assist and John Baker posted 1-1-2 in Watertown’s 6-1 win over Tewksbury; Liam Maguire wore a natural hat, Seamus McAvoy had 2-1-3 and Mark Dewling pitched a shutout as Melrose topped Danvers, 6-0; Cam LeRoux had the tying goal for Burlington and Nicole Pollis for the Newton Girls as the team skated to a 3-3 tie, Kelly Barbieri with two goals for Newton; Jacob Lowen wore the hat and had an assist in Winchester’s 5-1 victory over Newburyport; Chris Longchamp scored the winner with 5:58 and Anthony Dimaggio had two assists as Haverhill/Pentucket edged the Wizards, 3-2 – Katie Anderson with both goals in the loss; Jake Hartshorn had 1-2-3 and Mike Untracht scoired twice as Chelmsford topped Cape Ann, 5-3 – Robby Horne with two goals in the loss; and Ian Beeley collected 2-2-4, Kevin Griskevich had 1-2-3 and Matt Lane and Ethan Bramante both also scored twice in Methuen’s 8-0 handling of Lynnfield.


GRAY DIVISIONS

S&S and Reading both won twice. Chris Kirby wore a natural hat and Pat Norton scored twice as S&S beat Groton, 6-1 – and Brett Benoit pitched a shutout and Norton scored with 5:13 left to give S&S a 1-0 win over; Mike Murphy scored five goals, Jacob Pineau and Matt Farrell both posted 2-1-3 and Scott Baxter lost a shutout when Billy Kirk scored with 2:07 left in Reading’s 9-1 win over Saugus – and Mike Murphy scored twice, Matt Percy had 1-1-2 and Jim Murphy had two assists in a 3-2 decision over Nashoba, which got 1-1-2 from Cam Cielakie;


Sanderson pitched a shutout and Harron scored early in Woburn’s 2-0 win over Waltham; Ryan Riel wore a natural hat and had two assists, Josh Jay set up three goals and Britney Hall added 1-1-2 in PAT’s 8-2 victory over Peabody; Chris Fabbri wore the hat in Agawam’s 5-1 win over Wilmington; Emmy Casagrande had 2-1-3, Amanda Blanchette set up three goals, Marlee Hamor scored two and Tyler Hughey pitched a shutout in Beverly’s 5-0 victory over Newburyport; Gavin Prough’s second of the game came with 2:40 left and Adam Winter (2-2-4) followed with 1:48 on the clock to give Lexington/Bedford a 5-4 decision over Nashua -- Natalie McCarthy with 1-1-2 in the win and Liam Nye with two goals in the loss; Rastello pitched a shutout, Purcell scored twice and Johnson had 1-1-2 in Amesbury’s 4-0 win over Woburn; Romano Duncan scored four goals, Cal Fumicello had 1-2-3 and Tommy Duncan scored twice in Andover’s 7-3 win over Waltham, which got two goals from Kyle Maher; Lexi Rosenbaum and Nick Limone scored a minute apart late and Dylan Campbell had 1-1-2 as Masco beat Burlington, 4-2; and Aiden Shea scored with 9:05 left to give Burlington a 2-1 decision over Agawam.


BLACK

Methuen had a win and a tie. Dylan Sheehan posted 2-1-3, Justin Riddell had three assists and Amanda Mambro collected 1-1-2 in a 4-3 victory over Melrose, which got two goals from Colin Walsh – and Sheehan scored two late goals for the tie and Riddell had two assists as Methuen pulled out a 2-2 tie with Stoneham;


Nick Wallace pitched a shutout and Jake Mabardy had 1-1-2 in Winchester’s 3-0 win over Medford; Jake Sauls scored the winner with 2:41 remaining and Adi Baruah had 1-1-2 as North Andover edged Newton, 6-5 – Connor Flint with two goals and Jack Campbell 1-1-2 in the loss; and John Bresnahan pitched a shutout and Chris Sgarano scored late in the first period of Haverhill/Pentucket’s 3-0 win over Melrose.
