Peewee - Week Ending February 7
WHITE DIVISIONS

Casco Bay won twice and Lexington/Bedford had a win and a tie. Reid Howland scored two late goals, one snapping a 2-2 tie with 4:33 left, Bobby Murray had a goal and an assist and Robbie Armitage two assists in a 4-2 victory over Chelmsford, which got both goals from Derek Adamson – and Jean-Claude Lemieux scored midway through a 1-0 victory over Andover (coaches, a goalie for the shutout???); Dan Lehman collected 2-2-4, Brendan Flynn also scored twice and Tom Agne pitched a shutout in Lexington/Bedford’s 6-0 win over ther Renegades – and Derek Tillotson scored with 31 seconds left to give Concord a 2-2 tie with Lexington/Bedford;


Jason Arnaud had two goals and an assist, Jake Kampner also scored twice and Ben Canniff had 1-1-2 in a 6-2 victory over Lynn, which got 1-1-2 from Kyle Morrill; Tim Dohert scored his second goal of the game with 2:07 left to give Woburn a 4-3 decision over Marblehead; Kyle Nelson had 1-2-3, Alex Enes scored twice, Jack Nicastro and Eddie Mahoney both posted 1-1-2, Brenden Poliskey added two assists and Derek Morris pitched a shutout in Cape Ann’s 7-0 win over Masco; Dylan Murdock and Pete Ravanis scored 3:44 apart midway through the first period and Burlington edged the Renegades, 2-1;  Kaitlin Burt pitched a shutout and Lyndsey Smith scored early as the Wizards beat NH East, 3-0; Nick Jarostchuk scored with 1:33 left and Acton-Boxboro rallied for two goals in the third period to tie Arlington, 2-2 – Paul Schnebly with two goals in the second period and Ryan Hood assisting on both for Arlington; and Corey Wojewodzic scored the winner with 1:28 left, Morrill scored twice and Mark Brazell had two assists as Lynn edged Burlington, 3-2.


BLUE DIVISIONS

John Kazerian posted two goals and an assist and Zack Phipps assisted on two goals as Melrose defeated Concord-Carlisle, 4-1; Greg Beauclair scored the tying goal with 1:36 left and then assisted on Evan MacHenry’s winner with 10 seconds on the clock as Stoneham rallied past Watertown, 4-3 – Evan Ricci with 1-1-2 in the loss; James Curley scored with 9:08 left to give Danvers a 2-2 tie with Peabody; Brandon Rand scored the winner with 3:02 left, Steve Saucier scored twice and Arya Saliany had two assists as Nashua nipped Wilmington, 4-3; Jake Sylvester scored with 3:43 left to give Salem a 3-2 decision over Groton, which got two assists from Kyle Stephens; and No. 4 had what proved to be the winner with 1:44 left and Tyler Gardiner had 1-1-2 as Watertown got by North Reading, 4-3 – Jared Potter and Andrew DeRoche with 1-1-2 apiece in the loss.


RED DIVISIONS

Medford won twice. Bernard McGovern wore the hat and had an assist and Max Porrazzo, Mike Checchini and Alex Smith all had 1-1-2 in a 7-5 victory over Casco Bay, which got 1-1-2 from Jack Mainella – and McGovern and Porrazzo both had 2-1-3 and Vieneau added 1-1-2 in a 5-1 win over Andover;


Josh McClellan and Mike Barbieri shared the shutout, Alex Samaha had 1-1-2 and Jack Smith two assists in Newton’s 3-0 victory over Agawam; Sophia Turchetta (1-1-2) scored with 52.4 seconds left to give the Wizards a 4-3 win over Woburn; Anthony Lange (2-1-3) had what proved to be the winner with 1:03 left, Donnie Ganim posted 1-3-4 and Gillis 1-2-3 as Agawam got past Wakefield, 5-4 – Tim Seibel with two goals and Braedan Langlois 1-1-2 in the loss; Ishmael Telemarco scored twice and Eamon Williamson had two assists as S&S defeated Triton, 3-1; Alex Libby and Nick Demers both posted 1-1-2 as Casco Bay edged Lexington/Bedford, 3-2 – Shaun McLaughlin with 1-1-2 in the loss; Jonathan Ricko scored the winner with 22 seconds left and Sean Kitain had 1-1-2 as Nashoba nipped Greater Lowell, 4-3 – Reed Bourgeois with two assists in the loss; Justin Kauppi scored with 1:27 left to give PAT a 2-2 tie with Waltham; Rich Femia scored with 7:06 left to give Arlington a 2-1 decision over Triton; Brendan Sullivan wore the hat, Mike Gaeta posted 2-1-3, Scott Riester had 1-2-3 and Dave Langone pitched a shutout in Lynnfield’s 7-0 win over Melrose; and Matt Turner pitched a shutout and Brendan Barry scored twice in Stoneham’s 3-0 win over Lexington/Bedford.


SILVER DIVISIONS

Wakefield and Cape Ann both won twice, Groton had a win and a tie and Lexington/Bedford two ties. Justin Sullivan snapped a 2-2 tie with 4:42 left, Steve Marino scored twice and Ned Buckley had two assists in Wakefield’s 4-2 win over Marblehead – and Ben Yandell pitched a shutout, Buckley and Julianne Bourque beat Molly Barrow 39 seconds apart late as Wakefield edged the Wizards, 2-0; Polisky pitched a shutout and Jameson Kamm scored late in the second period of Cape Ann’s 2-0 win over Wilmington – and Lewis posted 2-2-3, Randazzo had 1-2-3 and Harris also scored twice in a 6-1 victory over Masco; Griffin Lilly scored the winner with 7:23 left and No. 24 had two assists as Groton got by Watertown, 3-2 – Albanna with 1-1-2 in the loss – and Mike Johnson scored with 8:59 left in the second period to give Lynn a 2-2 tie with Groton, which got two assists from Robert David; Sam Lindley scored the tying goal with one second left, Andrew Panasyuk and Kylee Harris both had 1-1-2 and Cal Sainato and Zach Williams both had two assists as Lexington/Bedford pulled out a 4-4 tie with Newburyport, which got a hat trick from Matt Archer – and Dan Foynes scored with 2:34 left to give Haverhill/Pentucket a 2-2 tie with Lexington/Bedford;


Brenden Patterson scored his second goal of the game with 21 seconds left and Joe Cucuzza had 1-1-2 as Saugus defeated Reading, 5-4 – Emilius with two goals and Garofoli 1-1-2 in the loss.


GOLD DIVISIONS

Woburn IV won twice. Amanda McGahan scored twice and Nick Campo had 1-1-2 in a 5-2 win over Wilmington – and Joey Magauro posted 2-1-3 and Tim Jordan lost a shutout bid when David Zinland-Pukhovitsky scored late in a 3-1 win over Andover;


Corey Paolillo had 2-1-3, John Mello also scored twice, Stephen Crann had 1-1-2 and Brian Kelly two assists as Woburn III defeated Marblehead, 7-1; Riley McQuillen wore the hat and Brian Cotter had 1-2-3 in North Reading’s 6-1 win over Wakefield; Dante Leone scored twice and Simon Osorio, Mike Hart and Bo Peligrinni all delivered 1-1-2 in Newton’s 5-2 win over Salem; Billy Twomey scored with 3:44 left to give Lynnfield a 1-1 tie with Melrose; Peacock wore the hat, Woodfin posted 1-1-2, Morison set up two goals and Wallace and Ryan shared a shutout as the Wizards defeated Methuen, 6-0; Gabe Miller and Tyler Godfrey scored eight seconds apart in the second period to give Newton III a 3-1 win over Triton; Mike Hart had 1-1-2 as Newton II tied Andover, 3-3; and Kevin Quinn scored four goals, Cam Ringdahl set up three and Casey Sheehan had 1-1-2 in Chelmsford’s 8-3 win over Malden/East Boston, which got 1-2-3 from Joe Coviello and two goals from Mark Faia.


GRAY DIVISIONS

Concord-Carlisle won twice. Keagan Pasco had 2-1-3, Peter Blunt 1-1-2, Thatcher Adams two assists and Steven Mardis, Aidan Moran and Cam Kessler shared the shutout in a 6-0 win over Beverly – and Adams (1-1-2) snapped a 2-2 tie with 42 seconds left in the second period, Bobby Joyce scored two goals to erase a 2-0 deficit and Aiden Cunningham had two assists in a 4-2 win over Newburyport;


Brandon Sullivan pitched a shutout, Dave Giuffre posted 1-2-3 and Sean McDonald 1-1-2 in Winthrop’s 4-0 win over Nashoba; Michaela Kane pitched a shutout and Mitch Hoar scored early in Haverhill/Pentucket’s 2-0 win over Nashua; Ben Fischi and Russ Whitney scored two goals apiece in Groton’s 5-3 win over Nashoba; Nick Nadeau scored five goals and added an assist, Ben Westerman assisted on four goals, Chris Saunders posted 1-2-3, Joe Green and Nick Rajaratman both scored twice and Cooper Lyons had two assists in Reading’s big win over Lexington/Bedford; McCaffrey scored with 1:08 left, answering a goal by Owen McMullen and giving Burlington a 1-1 tie with Cape Ann; and Peter Bovip scored twice in Newburyport’s 4-1 victory over Arlington.
