the first period turned out to be the winner in a 3-1 decision over Waltham;
Andrew McKie wore the hat, scoring all the goals as S&S beat Lynnfield, 3-1
– and John Ballou scored the winner with 2:20 left and Jack Poska had 1-1-2 in
a 2-1 decision over Nashua; Newcomb scored with 2:12 left to give Woburn a 4-3
win over Melrose, which got two goals from Shea Champagne – and Soltan scored
twice and Driscoll had two assists in a 4-0 win over Salem (coaches, a goalie
for the shutout???);

a monster week for this level.
Kevin Thibodeau pitched a shutout and Sam Rennick scored
twice in Triton’s 3-0 victory over Reading; Kyle McKendry scored twice and
Jason Corsetti had 1-1-2 in a 4-1 win over Chelmsford – and Jake Daniels and
Josh D’Arcy scored 11 seconds apart and Triton scored three goals in 95 seconds
early to nip Burlington, 3-2; Pat Cooper scored four goals and Colin Dunn had
two goals and an assist in Methuen’s 6-1 win over Winchester – and Cooper
scored twice, Connor O’Malley had 1-1-2 and Brenden Gregg two assists in a 4-2
victory over Wilmington; Jared Coppola’s goal with 5:35 left turned out to be

Holland delivered two goals and three assists, Ed Agamov had 2-1-3, William
Leary also scored twice and Kyle Sampson pitched a shutout in Newton’s 6-0 win
over Nashua; Colby Mitchell had 2-1-3 and Cape Ann beat Newburyport, 4-1; Pat
McGrath (1-1-2) snapped a 2-2 tie with 8:01 left and Jonathan Dinsmore (1-1-2)
followed 1:21 later as Nashua topped Groton, 4-2; CortneyPierre scored twice
