WHITE DIVISIONS The Gladiators won twice. Austin
Roy wore a natural hat in a 2:59 span of the second period and also had two
assists, Griffin Wade posted a goal and an assist and Kerri St. Jean lost a
shutout with 3:42 left in a 5-1 win over Stoneham – and Wade had what proved to
be the winner with 9:53 left, Roy had another goal and the Gladiators used six
different goal scorers to beat Arlington, 6-3;
No. 66 had 1-1-2 in the final
7:01 and Winchester got by Woburn, 4-2; Jared Cosby (1-1-2) snapped a 1-1 tie
with 2:22 left and Robert Jones also had 1-1-2 as Waltham nipped Chelmsford,
3-1; Mike Champigny (2-1-3) snapped a 3-3 tie with 10:14 left, LiamGoulet
delivered 1-3-4 and Mike Macrides scored twice as Acton-Boxboro beat the
Wizards, 5-3 – Adriana Rossini with two goals in the loss; Jake Blanchette
posted 2-1-3, Brandon Brack also scored twice and Sam Tardiff had two assists
in Concord’s 5-2 win over the Renegades; No. 7 scored with 2:14 left to give
Masco a 2-1 decision over Wilmington; Brandon Creador pitched a shutout and
Zach Deeb scored midway through the first period of Winthrop’s 2-0 win over the
Renegades; and Brendan Flynn (1-1-2) had what proved to be the winner 39
seconds into the third period and Ryan McGonagle also had 1-1-2 as
Lexington/Bedford edged Burlington, 3-2.
BLUE DIVISIONS
Jimmy Faber collected 2-1-3, Ben Winslow had 1-1-2 and Scott
Correia two assists as Concord/Carlisle topped Nashua, 6-2 – Danny LeBlanc with
both goals in the loss; DerekMorris pitched a shutout and Kyle Nelson and
Jared Favazza both had 1-1-2 in Cape Ann’s 2-0 win over Beverly; Beau Arsenault
and Collin Shapiro both scored twice and NH East defeated Danvers, 5-2 – Zach
Daly with both goals for Danvers; Mike Paglucca was in goal for North Reading
and Trevor Daniliuk for Watertown in a 0-0 tie; and Dan Gemmell scored with
7:04 left to give Andover a 1-1 tie with Peabody, which had gone ahead on
Brewster’s goal in the second period.
RED DIVISIONS
Colin Holt pitched a shutout and Alex Marceau had two
assists in Concord’s 4-0 win over Stoneham; Blake Alber pitched a shutout and
Elliot McHure had 1-1-2 in Chelmsford’s 2-0 victory over Triton; Galen Kelly
delivered 1-1-2, Brad Kelly had two assists and ScottDouglass lost a shutout bid
when Turner scored with 2:52 left in Lexington/Bedford’s 3-1 win over Agawam;
Matt Tarantino scored with 6:54 left to give Winthrop a 2-1 decision over
Arlington; Conway connected with 1:56 remaining to give Lynnfield a 2-1 verdict
over North Andover; Pat Carney pitched a shutout and Brian Peterson scored both
goals as Greater Lowell stopped Agawam,
2-0; Kristi Anderson scored twice and the Wizards beat Lynnfield, 3-1;
Matt Garafoli had what proved to be the winner with 7:08 left in Reading’s 4-2
victory over Medford; and Gannon’s goal 22 seconds into the second period
turned out to be the winner in Methuen’s 4-1 win over Melrose.
SILVER DIVISIONS
Wakefield won three games, the Wizards won two and
Wilmington posted a win and a tie. Goalie Ben Yandell yielded just one goal in
three Wakefield wins. Steve Marino ended the combined shutout bid of Pat
Ferrell and Steve Giroux with 14 seconds left and Yandell was perfect in a 1-0
win; Ned Buckley scored late in the first period of a 2-0 triumph over Reading
-- and Matt Mercurio had 2-1-3 and Rich Tosi two assists in a 6-1 win over
Masco. Molly Barrow pitched two shutouts for the Wizards. Kate Pacienza scored
late in the first period of a 2-0 win over Newburyport – and Sofi Tamaro scored
twice and KaitlinHoang had two assists in a 3-0 victory over
Haverhill/Pentucket; Andrew Brown’s first-period goal turned out to be the
winner in Wilmington’s 2-1 decision over Reading – and Bridget Santos scored
the tying goal with 2:30 left, Eric McNamara had 1-1-2 and JacksonGillis two
assists as Wilmington pulled out a 2-2 tie with Masco, which got 1-1-2 from No.
14;
Nick Sturgess pitched a shutout and Dustin Kingsley scored
with 4:59 left to give Salem a 1-0 win over Andover; Hennessey scored the
winner with 8:50 left and Perito
assisted on both goals as Malden/East Boston edged Amesbury, 2-1; Peter
Pantelis scored both goals, Will Mombello assisted on both and Morgan McGirl
lost a shutout bid when KyleBrosseau scored with 3:15 left as Newburyport
nipped Saugus, 2-1; No. 9 scored twice as Winchester edged Woburn, 3-2, despite
1-1-2 by Brendan Surette; Tim Kalinowski capped a hat trick with the winner
with 6:19 left and David Giliver had 1-1-2 as Marblehead overcame a Zach
Mitchell hat trick and got by Cape Ann, 4-3; Kris Augustine pitched a shutout
and Leon Parfenov and John Molloy both had 1-1-2 in Andover’s 4-0 victory over
Peabody; Alex Merlina’s second goal of the game came with 6:40 left and Chris
Mitchell followed 58 seconds later to give Saugus a 3-3 tie with Haverhill/Pentucket
II, which got 1-1-2 from Matt Freitas; Mike Hart and Andrew Perrin scored 2:26
apart late to give Newton a 3-3 tie with Amesbury, which got 2-1-3 from BrianThompson;
Dylan Cobb scored twice, Ryan Cooke and Connor Higgins both had 1-1-2 and Calvin
Sainato and Lorraine Byrne each had two assists in Lexington/Bedford’s 7-1
handling of Burlington; Valenti pitched a shutout and Robson scored early in
the second period as Peabody beat Chelmsford, 2-0; and Dante Cimino set up
three goals and JonpaulAddorisio had 1-1-2 in Watertown’s 5-3 victory over
Amesbury, which got 2-1-3 from Heath King and two assists from, Matt Gaffey.
GOLD DIVISIONS
Woburn won twice and Andover had a win and a tie. Nick Campo
wore the hat, MorganBishop had 1-2-3, Charles O’Connor scored twice and Amanda
McGahan had two assists in Woburn’s 7-2 victory over Wilmington – and McGahan
wore the hat and had an assist in a 5-3 win over Tewksbury, which got 1-1-2
apiece from Ben Hogan and No. 25; Alex Trottier pitched a shutout and Dave
Zinland-Pukhovitsky scored both goals in the first period of Andover’s 2-0
victory over Stoneham – and Agawam’s Nick McLane and Andover’s Frank
Starkweather scored first-period goals 1:14 apart and the teams went on to a
1-1 tie;
Hunter Clutz and Nick Callahan both scored twice and Ryan
Leonard and JackSuominen both had 1-1-2 in Waltham’s 9-1 handling of Newton;
Joe Coviello posted 2-2-4, Tom Coviello 2-1-3 and Collin Ivany two assists in
Malden/East Boston’s 4-1 victory over Beverly; Candan Iulian scored twice, Liam
Lynch-Galvin had 1-1-2 and Bobby Brodeur two assists as Melrose stopped Triton,
5-21; Noah Kolesha pitched a shutout and Matt Bean scored early in the second
period of Newburyport’s 2-0 win over Waltham; Pat Dunfey scored five goals and
assisted on another and Jack Kilday and MattGagnon both posted 1-1-2 in
Wilmington’s 7-3 win over Woburn; Joe Ferri wore the hat, Colin Kor had 1-2-3
and Ryan Christiano 1-1-2 in North Reading’s 7-3 victory over Marblehead, which
got two goals from AJ Ernst; Zachary Kane wore the hat and had two assists and
Mario Moscato posted 1-1-2 in Wakefield’s 7-4 win over Medford, which got two
goals each from Jacob Gesualdi and No. 14; and Ron Blodgett delivered 2-2-4,
RonnyAgruso-Klerowski had four assists and Mike Lirakis 2-1-3 in Tewksbury’s 7-3 victory over Methuen,
which got two goals from Aidan Grady.
GRAY DIVISIONS
Max Gilber collected 2-1-3, Peter Bovio also scored twice
and Jake Irons had 1-1-2 in Newburyport’s 7-3 win over North Andover; Cassidy
Smith was in goal for Burlington and Fincchiaro for North Reading in a 0-0 tie;
and Zak Mitchell scored twice and Charlie Sumner had 1-1-2 in Cape Ann’s 6-1 victory
over Haverhill/Pentucket.
