Arlington and Methuen both won twice and Wakefield had a win and a tie. Joel Hanley and Liam Gorman both scored twice and Anthony Santosuosso and Dara Patrick Conneely both had two assists in Arlington’s 5-1 victory over North Andover – and Mike Glennon’s goal with 4:39 left turned out to be the winner, Mike DeCourcey scored twice and Hanley had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win over Lynnfield; Devin Coonradt pitched a shutout and Pat Cooper scored late in the first period of Methuen’s 3-0 win over S&S – and Alex Graves’s second goal of the game, with :54 left, have Methuen a 4-3 victory over Woburn, which got 1-1-2 apiece from Joe O’Brien and Tyler Manzi; Jake Moniz pitched a shutout and Sam Colangelo scored twice in Wakefield’s 3-0 win over Waltham – and Eric Almquist scored the tying goal with :38 left and Jake Wise had two assists as Wakefield pulled out a 2-2 tie with Medford, which got 1-1-2 from Frankie Kearney;
Ben Gastonguay scored with :14 left to give Chelmsford a 2-1 decision over Woburn; Paul Duffy wore the hat and had an assist, Kyle Furey turned those numbers around with 1-3-4, Jacob Garfield had 1-2-3, Dean Mellor set up three goals, Spencer Perkins scored two and Alex Rosen had 1-1-2 in Marblehead’s big win over Cape Ann; Ryan Flynn’s second goal of the game, with 4:33 left, gave Lexington/Bedford a 4-4 tie with Wilmington, which got a hat trick from Dan Woods and two assists from Nathan Dimeco; John Gemmell scored twice and Joe Biddle had two assists in Andover’s 3-0 triumph over Newton (coaches, a goalie????); and Oilvia Finocchiaro and Drew Worthley scored 34 seconds apart early in the third period for the win, Anthony Bono posted 2-1-3 and Ryan Groark two assists as Saugus edged Burlington, 5-4 – Frankie Bonanno with 2-1-3 in the loss.
Stephen Johnson wore the hat and also had three assists and Nick Walsh delivered 2-1-3 in Tewksbury’s 8-2 handling of Pentucket; Nick Cafarelli had 1-2-3, Will Major and Fillipo Scarfo both scored twice, Ian Driscoll had 1-1-2 and Garrett Young two assists in Masco’s loud win over North Reading; Jonah Carlson and Caleb Dollin both posted 2-1-3 and Sullivan Marino 1-2-3 in Peabody’s 8-0 win over Reading; Erika Lizotte had what proved to be the winner with 3:41 remaining, Katie Tresca collected 2-1-3 and Madison Micciche 1-1-2 as the Wizards edged Stoneham, 6-5, despite two goals by George Doherty and 1-1-2 by Nick Feliciano; Nick Fallon and Jack Cronin both scored twice and Will Ganim had 1-1-2 in Agawam’s 7-2 victory over the Wizards, who got 1-1-2 from Samantha Davidson; Andrew DiMento posted 1-2-3 and Cory Cherico scored twice in Winthrop’s 4-2 win over Agawam, which got both goals from Cronin; and Dylan Leavitt wore the hat, Josh Darcy had 1-1-2 and Schuyler Cummings two assists in Triton’s 8-3 victory over the Blizzard, which got 1-1-2 from Colton LaCouture.
Chelmsford and Wilmington both won twice. Connor Walsh made it 2-0 midway through the first period and Chelmsford went on to a 4-1 victory over Tewksbury – and Mike Marchessault had 1-1-2 and six different players scored to overcome a Justin Pitari hat trick and give Chelmsford a 6-4 decision over Methuen; Kyle Bolis delivered 1-2-3, Danny McGaffigan scored twice, Nolan Ricci had 1-1-2 and Zach Kincaid two assists in Wilmington’s 8-1 handling of Reading – and Chris Robarge had two goals and four assists, Molly Foley 2-1-3, McGaffigan two goals and Conlin Duffy two assists in an 8-1 win over Woburn;
Zac Elwell and Ryan Craig both scored twice and Lynn stopped Arlington, 4-2 – Masci with 1-1-2 in the loss; Connor Derby snapped a 1-1 tie with 4:54 left in the second period and Newburyport used five different goal scorers to top Winchester, 5-1; Colby Brown’s 1-1-2 helped Tewksbury past Woburn, 4-0 (coaches, a goalie???????); Mack scored twice and Metrano and Flanney both had two assists as Lynnfield defeated North Andover, 4-2; Pat McEleney’s second goal of the game, with 4:29 left, gave Reading a 4-3 decision over Methuen, which got a hat trick from Gavin Dickson and two assists from Spencer Norton; Mike Hughes and Mark Bentley both scored twice, Jeff Nh had 1-1-2 and Tyler McGoldrick two assists in Andover’s 6-3 win over Amesbury, which got all three goals from Dalton McCann; Cooper Adrian made it 2-0 with 3:38 left and Griffin Davis lost a shutout bid when Mason Healey scored 55 seconds later and Danvers held off Salem, 2-1; Tom Hassett had what proved to be the winning goal with 3:10 left and Ben Asselin posted 1-1-2 as Greater Lowell got by Winchester, 4-2; McCarthy wore the hat, Linehan scored the other two goals and Casagrande had two assists as Beverly defeated Waltham, 5-2; Ian Worthley’s second of the game, with 5:23 left, gave Saugus a 2-2p tie with Greater Lowell, which got two assists from No. 8; Eddie King posted 2-1-3, Casey Gillis also scored twice, Anna Bargman and Timmy King both added two assists and Sam Paci pitched the shutout in Masco’s 7-0 win over Wakefield; and Kevin Urquhart had 1-2-3, Robby Griffin scored twice and Jake Doyle pitched a shutout in Burlington’s 6-0 victory over Andover.
Joe Shannon and Alexis Saia both scored twice and Stoneham bested Haverhill, 5-1; No. 9’s second goal of the game, with 59.1 seconds left, gave Andover a 3-3 tie with Agawam, which got all three goals from Nick Fallon; and Will Shull posted 2-1-3 and Collin Hart 1-1-2 in Marblehead’s 5-2 win over Watertown.
Newton won twice. David McCabe wore the hat and had an assist, Luke Foster posted 2-1-3 and Tom McCarthy also scored twice in an 8-1 handling of Medford – and McCabe and McCarthy both wore hats, McCabe added an assist, Amanda Fogarty scored twice and Connor Daly and Foster both added two assists in an 8-2 victory over Peabody, which got 1-1-2 from Scott Chaplain;
Andrew Dawson pitched a shutout, Nolan Sullivan had 2-1-3 and Tommy King 1-1-2 in Wilmington’s 5-0 win over Lynn; No. 31 collected 1-2-3, Connor Santos scored twice and No. 7 had 1-1-2 in Wakefield’s 5-3 win over North Andover, which got two goals from Jack Malolepszy; Alexane Rheume delivered 2-1-3, Maggie Pelletier had 1-1-2 and Taisiya Rykova two assists as the Andover Girls defeated Triton, 6-2 – Max Scalley with both goals for Triton; Derek Delvecchio scored four goals, Dom Paolo had 2-1-3 and Nick Germano pitched a shutout as Saugus topped North Reading, 8-0; and Adam Gagnon pitched a shutout and Jake Kelleher scored midway through the first period of Nashua’s 4-0 triumph over Lexington/Bedford.
Masco won twice. Eric Caputo pitched a shutout and Anthony Cafarelli had 1-1-2 in a 2-0 win over Stoneham – and Cafarelli had the winner with 3:42 left and Nick Limone scored twice in a 3-2 decision over Pentucket, which got both goals from Rich Hardy;
Donald Walk’s second goal of the game, with 4:17 left was followed by Eamon O’Connor’s goal 1:19 later as Nashoba pulled out a 4-3 decision over Reading, which got two goals from Kike Murphy; Briffett set up three goals and Scourletis scored two in Stoneham’s 4-2 win over Cape Ann; No. 16 had 1-1-2 and Newton scored three times in a 2:38 span of the second period to nip Reading, 3-2; and Jack Murray (1-1-2) scored what proved to be the winner with 4:00 left, Romano Duncan had 2-1-3 and Steve Ingram also scored twice as Andover defeated Burlington, 6-4 – Sean Surabian with two goals and Trevor Janis two assists for Burlington.
