WHITE DIVISIONS Travis Koocher pitched a shutout and Andy Riedy scored early in Newburyport’s 2-0 win over Reading; Shamus Egan delivered a goal and two assist, Cam Davis a goal and an assist and Sean Kelly two assists in Waltham’s 6-3 victory over Maine, which got two goals from Bryce Fraser and two assists from Brian Bonenfant; Ryan Marvin got the only goal of the game past David Aiken with 4:05 left and Tommy Troie and Mike Small shared the shutout as Nashua edged Saugus, 1-0; Justin Whooley posted 2-1-3 and JakeJordan 1-2-3 in Stoneham’s 6-1 handling of Peabody DiRaffaele had three assists and Witkowski and Hickey both had 1-1-2 as Melrose used six different scorers to beat North Reading, 6-2 – MitchWaterhouse and Dan O’Toole with 1-1-2 apiece in the loss; BenAlbert wore the hat and had two assists, Ace Cowans collected 2-2-4 Clinton Cabral had 2-1-3 and Nick Albano and Jesse MacLaughlin both went for 1-2-3 in Beverly’s 9-2 win over Masco; and Kevin Olsen snapped a 4-4 tie with 1:21 left and then added the insurance, Lucas Hanley posted 1-2-3 and Mike Curran added two assists in Arlington’s 6-4 win over Woburn.
BLUE DIVISIONS Triton won twice. Schickling scored twice and No. 20 had two assists in a 4-1 victory over Pentucket – and Killion’s second goal of the game, with 4:22 left, turned out to be the winner and Fuller Winton posted 2-1-3 in a 4-3 decision over Newton;
Matlack’s goal, with 8:43 left, turned out to be the winner in NH East’s 2-1 decision over Masco; Botticelli collected 2-1-3 and Burke 1-1-2 as S&S defeated Haverhill, 5-3, despite two goals by Chris Enaire and 1-1-2 by Brian Roberts; Colin Soucy pitched a shutout and Chris Baso scored the game’s only goal with five seconds left in the first period of North Andover’s 1-0 win over S&S; Jacob Blanchette’s goal with 1:05 left in the second period helped Concord past Waltham, 3-1; Kyle Morrill capped a hat trick with 1:25 left, just six seconds after Brendon Devin (1-1-2) scored) to give Lynn a dramatic 5-4 decision over Medford, which got 1-1-2 from Andrew Cronin; Brett Souza scored twice and William Cornetta had two assists in Cape Ann’s 3-1 win over Wakefield; and Chris Birch scored two late goals, Garrett Lafata had two assists and John Anderson lost a shutout bid when Cole Saunders scored with 6:53 left in Masco’s 3-1 victory over Wakefield.
RED DIVISIONS Andrew Sylvester capped a hat trick with six seconds left to give Greater Lowell a 6-5 win over Newburyport, which got two goals from Charlie Hesser; Jared Pelham had 2-1-3 and Dana Barnard 1-1-2 in North Reading’s 5-3 win over Lexington/Bedford, which got two goals from Shaun McLaughlin; Derrick Zwiercan scored four goals, Riley Grondin and Greg Katz both had 1-1-2 and Nick Botticelli added two assists as S&S beat Arlington, 8-3 – Jake Ryan scoring twice in the lost; Tyler Brown pitched a shutout and NathanTikonoff scored twice as Melrose defeated Danvers, 3-0; Casey Michael scored with 9:17 left to give Winthrop a 2-2 tie with Lexington/Bedford; No. 3 scored with 50 seconds left to give Cape Ann a 2-1 victory over Nashoba; Sam Rourke wore the hat, Sam Ober had 2-1-3 and Philippe Goulet-Martel and Austen Michel gad two assists in Agawam’s 6-2 triumph over Amesbury; and Andrew O’Connell scored with 1:33 left, Joe LaPiana followed with the tying goal with 39.8 seconds remaining and Nathan Cox scored the other two goals as Stoneham pulled out a 4-4 tie with Chelmsford, which got two assists from Sam Melisi.
SILVER DIVISIONS Woburn earned two wins, one a makeup and Reading III had a win and a tie. Tom Connors pitched a shutout, Concannon had 2-1-3, Avakian three assists and Bobby Ferullo two goals in a 5-0 win over Lynnfield – and Martin Joyce had 1-2-3, Ferullo 1-1-2 and Connors lost a shutout bid with 3:53 left when James McAuliffe scored as Woburn defeated Wakefield, 4-1; Devin Conroy posted 2-1-3 and Cole Hunter two assists in Reading’s 4-2 win over North Andover – and Will Fitzpatrick and Mark Scribner were in goal for Marblehead and Josh Caruso for Reading in a 0-0 tie;
Hunter Spence’s goal midway through the second period turned out to be the winner and Tim Birarelli lost a shutout bid when Donnie Boermeester scored with 22.6 seconds left in Beverly’s 2-1 decision over Burlington; Dan Donovan and Chad Desautels scored 26 seconds apart midway through the third period of Nashua’s 3-2 win over Salem; AndrewSilvestri (1-1-2) had what proved to be the winner in the second period and Dan Perito and Dante Cucuzza both also had 1-1-2 in Malden/East Boston’s 4-2 win over Reading, which got both goals from Ben Westerman; Sean Bruno capped a hat trick with 35 seconds left, after scoring at the 5:04 mark, and Steve Ohanesian had 1-1-2 as Melrose edged Malden/East Boston, 5-4 – Cucuzza with 1-2-3 and Silvestri 1-1-2 in the loss; VanShrestinian’s second goal, with 3:38 left, gave Andover a 2-2 tie with Danvers; KyleTaggart pitched a shutout and Mackenzie Warren and Andrew McCourt scored 3:41 apart in the first period of Masco’s 3-0 win over Reading IV; Brian Morin scored twice and Wilmington defeated the Wizards, 6-1; Dom Bruzzese and Nick Donnelly both had 1-1-2 in Salem’s 3-0 win over Haverhill.
