WHITE DIVISIONS The Maine Gladiators won twice. Keagan Deslauriers (1-1-2) scored the winner with :01 left and Kyle Lemelin posted two goals and an assist in a 4-3 decision over Lexington/Bedford, which got two goals from Tom Ward and 1-1-2 from Brendan Flynn – and Lemelin scored twice in a 3-0 victory over Andover (coaches, a goalie???);
CJ Natale (1-1-2) had what proved to be the winner with 5:52 left and Chad Connolly had two assists as Woburn edged Wilmington, 3-2; Alex Taylor and Matty Flynn shared the shutout and Erik D’Orlando had 1-1-2 as Danvers beat Woburn, 3-0; Kelland wore the hat and Murphy had two assists in Watertown’s 5-1 win over Reading; Alec McAvoy’s second goal of the game, with 2:48 left, was the tying goal, Danny LeBlanc had three assists and Derek Herling and Ben Woodward both had 1-1-2 as Nashua pulled out a 4-4 tie with Waltham, which got 1-1-2 from Brendan Hopkins; Bryce Mitchell pitched a shutout and Clinton Cabral had two assists in Beverly’s 3-0 victory over Andover; VitalyKnowles snapped a 2-2 tie with 3:06 left in the second period and Masco defeated Peabody, 4-2; Lucas Michaud posted 2-1-3, Sterling Weatherbie had three assists, Ted Hart and Sam Michaud both also scored twice and Max Watson delivered 1-1-2 in Casco Bay’s 7-1 handling of Melrose; Austin O’Neal’s second-period goal turned out to be the winner as Wilmington topped Maine, 3-1; Stephen Lavasseur scored with 10:00 left to give Melrose a 3-2 decision over Concord, which got both goals from Alex Orcutt; Kevin Terban wore the hat and had an assist, Brandon McGrail and Jeremy Grabowski both had 1-1-2 and Pat Farrell added two assists in Newburyport’s 7-2 win over Saugus, which got 1-1-2 from Kyle Zabroski and two assists from Victor DeMatteo; Justin Whooley scored four goals, two of them eight seconds apart, and had an assist, John Gallagher, BrandonMcCarthy and Mike Paone all had 2-1-3 and Cam Lanzulli had two assists in Stoneham’s big win over Masco; Feeley scored with 3:23 left to give Burlington a 2-1 decision over Waltham; and Mic Curran scored the winner with 1:08 left, Ryan Smith posted 1-2-3 and Kevin Olsen 1-1-2 in Arlington’s 4-3 decision over Burlington, which got 1-1-2 from Morgan.
BLUE DIVISIONS Lynnfield had a pair of ties. Look and Montesanto scored 2:36 apart in the third period for the tie and Zanni had two assists as Lynnfield pulled out a 4-4 tie with Methuen, which got 1-3-4 from Nick DeChirico, 2-1-3 from Peter Menzies and 1-2-3 from John Bartlett – and LoConte’s second goal of the game, with :15 left to give Lynnfield a 3-3 tie with Pentucket, which got 2-1-3 from Alex Dumas and 1-1-2 from Logan Sherwood;
Byrne had what proved to be the winner with 7:07 left, Latham posted 1-3-4, Botticelli had three assists and Faia scored twice as S&S defeated NH east, 5-3 – Sigmund with two goals in the loss; Brandon Devin had 2-1-3, Brent Lozzi and Joe Casale both posted 1-1-2 and Caleb Reddick had two assists in Lynn’s 6-2 win over Masco, which got both goals from Birch and two assists from Michaud; Jeff Renzi and Zach Gendreau scored 2:01 apart in the second period and Brendan Bunker lost a shutout when Broghean McGovern scored with 4:44 left as Medford beat Haverhill, 4-1; Brandon Mullarkey (1-1-2) scored with 6:33 left and Pat Jordan followed 3:33 later to give Reading a 2-1 decision over Marblehead; and Jones had 1-1-2 and Raimo lost a shutout when Kyle Nelson scored with 4:12 left in Waltham’s 3-1 victory over Cape Ann.
RED DIVISIONS S&S won twice. Nick Botticelli had two goals and five assists, Derrick Zwiercan had four goals and two assists and Riley Grondin also scored twice in a big win over Agawam – and Zwiercan wore a natural had and had an assist, Botticelli and Anthony Springthorpe both posted 1-2-3, Emery Green had three assists and Ben Rossman scored twice in a loud victory over Amesbury;
Brewster scored twice in Peabody’s 3-1 win over Lexington/Bedford; John Krapian had 1-2-3, Andrew Sylvester scored twice, Billy Keating and Justin Lang both delivered 1-1-2 and Jesse Caisse had two assists in Greater Lowell’s 6-2 win over Lexington/Bedford, which got two assists from Connor Murphy; Zach Herman posted 2-1-3 and Jared Samost 1-1-1 in North Reading’s 5-1 win over Wakefield; Kristen McCarthy scored with :21 left in the first period, answering Brian Moran’s goal as Danvers and Wilmington skated to a 1-1 tie; Mike Mullowney had 2-1-3 and Pat Mahoney 1-2-3 in Newton’s 6-0 handling of Agawam; Phil Schultz’s second goal of the game, with 1:42 left, gave the NE Stars a 2-1 decision over Lexington/Bedford; and Ali Garvin scored twice, Monica Chen had 1-1-2 and Jenna Blouin two assists as the Wizards defeated Lexington/Bedford, 4-1.
SILVER DIVISIONS Andover III had a win and a tie. Shrestinian posted 1-1-2 and Gerrior two assists in a 4-2 win over Nashua – and Jory Marini-Berry (1-1-2) scored with 3:21 left to give Nashoba a 2-2 tie with Andover, which got 1-1-2 from Marcus Pelletier;
Tommy Regan and Sean Kavanaugh scored 32 seconds apart late in the first period and Andover nipped Burlington, 3-1; Jason Begley scored twice, Ray Baumgarten had 1-1-2 and Bobby Headrick set up two goals in Masco’s 5-1 win over Melrose; Connor McCurley scored with 1:10 left in the second period to give Salem a 2-1 decision over Marblehead; Matt Townsend (1-2-3) scored the winner with :25 left and Sean Hanlon scored twice as Beverly edged Reading, 3-2 – Garofoli with 1-1-2 in the loss; Billy Hubschman and Jake Barry shared the shutout and James Herman scored in the first period of Andover IV’s 3-0 win over Lynnfield; and Burns had 2-1-3 and Thomas also scored twice in Woburn’s 5-2 victory over Malden/East Boston, which got both goals from Ashley Pereira.
GOLD DIVISION Brayden Carney wore the hat and had an assist and Jak Klosowski had 1-2-3 in Pentucket’s 5-0 win over Woburn; Julianne Bourque posted 2-1-3, Connor Shine had two assists and Richie Tosi pitched a shutout in Wakefield’s 6-0 victory over Agawam; TylerLapham and No. 16 scored 2:14 apart in the third period to lift Peabody into a 2-2 tie with Lynn; Anthony Diodati scored with 1:45 left to give Haverhill a 1-1 tie with Tewksbury, which got a goal from Tyler Murray just eight seconds into the game; Micheala McLaughlin scored twice and Kathryn Walker and Stephanie Cohen both had 1-1-2 as the Wizards handled Triton, 8-0; Peter Pantelis delivered 1-1-2 and Brian Lundergan pitched a shutout in Newburyport’s 6-0 win over Salem; Brian Cotter posted 2-1-3, JoeFerri had 1-2-3 and Ryan Delaney added two assists in North Reading’s 4-1 over Chelmsford; Paul Budge scored two goals in 46 seconds, Harrison Bamel and PatAquilina both scored twice and Dean Bovarnick had two assists in Newton’s 8-2 win over Burlington; and Nick Roche had 1-1-2 in a three-goal third period that gave Arlington a 3-2 decision over Saugus.
GRAY Brett Kochanski scored what proved to be the winner with 7:21 left in the second period of North Andover’s 2-1 decision over Newburyport; No. 3 wore the hat and Gavin Broderick and Jason Papa both had two assists as Everett/Revere defeated Newton, 5-2; and AlexSmith scored with 6:22 left to cap a comeback from a two-goal deficit and give Medford a 3-2 win over North Andover, Paul Howard with 1-1-2 in the win and Kochanski with both goals in the loss.
