Saugus, the Maine Gladiators and Casco Bay all won twice and Peabody had a win and a tie. Chris Sanderson had what proved to be the game winner with :52 left in the second period and Matt Shea assisted on a pair of goals as Saugus beat Concord-Carlisle, 5-3, despite two goals by Jim Faber – and Oliver Dunn and Chris Mitchell scored third-p-period goals 3:48 apart to produce a 2-1 decision over Wilmington; Kyle Lemelin scored four goals, Matt Poulin had 2-2-4 and Keagan Deslauriers, No. 78 and No. 57 all had 1-2-3 as the Gladiators scored a big win over Waltham, which got two goals from Shamus Egan and two assists from Matt Albano – and Lemelin scored twice and No. 57 had 1-1-2 in a 5-0 victory over Wilmington; Zach Luce and Colin Merrill both posted 2-1-3 and Casco Bay beat Andover, 7-0 – and Sterling Weatherbie had 2-1-3, Ben Freeman 1-2-3, Sam Michaud 1-1-2 and Merrill two assists in a 7-0 win over Woburn; Manthorne erupted for five goals and two assists, including four straight goals in the first period, and Bisconti had 2-2-4 in Peabody’s 9-3 win over Nashua, which got two assists from Danny LeBlanc – and Niclas Lemieux (1-1-2) had the tying goal with 9:46 left, Colton Ackerman set up three goals and Travis Mansir two as Maine pulled out a 4-4 tie with Peabody, which got a hat trick from Manthorne;

Methuen earned a win and a tie. Chris Milone pitched a shutout and Dylan Harris scored late in the third first period of a 2-0 win over Medford – and Josh Gordon capped a hat trick with 8:02 left to give Newton a 4-4 tie with Methuen, which got two goals from Nick DeChirico and John Bartlett;
Burke wore the hat and Dandreo had 1-1-2 as S&S beat Stoneham, 6-2; Brent Lozzi assisted on three goals, Kyle Morrill scored two and Ryan Borders and Molly Depew shared the shutout in Lunn’s 5-0 victory over Wakefield; Jack Nicastro posted 2-1-3, Casey Noyes had three assists, Matt Lane added 1-1-2 and Owen Parisi the shutout in Cape Ann’s 5-0 win over Lexington/Bedford; Shea scored with 2:51 left to give Triton a 2-1 decision over Winthrop; Amanda Conway had a goal and three assists and Jennifer Maher 2-1-3 as the Wizards beat Medford, 5-1; John Brock pitched a shutout and Alex Dumas scored in the second period of Pentucket’s 2-0 win over Andover; No. 23 had the tying goal with 28.7 seconds remaining, Connor Murphy wore the hat and Ryan McGonagle had three assists as Lexington/Bedford pulled out a 5-5 tie with Greater Lowell, which got 2-1-3 from Justin Lang, 1-2-3 from John Krapian and two assists from Jesse Caisse; Brandon Mullarkey wore the hat, Devin Collins had three assists, Ian Wright two goals and Dan Dewing the shutout as Reading beat the NE Stars, 6-0; Paquette posted 1-1-2 and McIntyre lost a shutout bid when Bill Connors scored with 3:07 left in Haverhill’s 3-1 win over Waltham; Bosconi pitched a shutout and Donnell and Garbier both had 1-1-2 in Watertown’s 3-0 victory over Salem; and James Sacco scored twice, Andrew Haytaynan had 1-1-2 and Joey Vanaria two assists in Waltham’s 4-1 win over Greater Lowell.

Justin LaCau and Pat Leonard (1-1-2) scored 55 seconds apart late for the win, Nick Deveau scored twice and Brett Morris had two assists as Tewksbury edged Danvers, 5-4, despite three assists by James Curley – and Darren Sullivan pitched a shutout, Deveau snapped a scoreless tie with 8:04 left and David Morley followed with insurance 2:04 later in a 2-0 victory; Ryan Loftus scored his second goal of the game with 8:58 left, capping a three-goal comeback and giving Chelmsford a 3-2 victory over Cape Ann, Derek Adamson with 1-1-2 in the win – and Max Giesen scored with :09 left to give Lexington/Bedford a 2-2 tie with Chelmsford, which got 1-1-2 from Sam Melisi;
