August Martini scored the winner and Mic Curran had two assists as Arlington edged Marblehead, 3-2; Cam Rondeau scored with 5:57 left and Jack Ganter followed 1:11 later as Lynnfield beat Wakefield, 3-1; Cam Knight scored with 2:34 left in the first period, answering Devin Marrocco’s goal scored 29 seconds into the game and gave the Blizzard a 1-1 tie with Winchester; Dan Lehman scored with 3:35 left to give Lexington/Bedford a 2-2 tie with Concord; and Cosmo Pasciuto’s second goal of the game, with 2:43 left, was the tying goal and Jake Ewing had two assists as Winchester pulled out a 3-3 tie with Marblehead, which got two assists from Payton Jancsy.
Melrose and Pentucket both won twice and S&S and Peabody had a win and a tie. Kyle Thing had a goal and two assists and Zach Coffey and Joey Auterio both scored twice in Pentucket’s 7-3 win over Woburn – and Callum Perry’s second goal of the game, with 3:51 left, was followed 13 seconds later by Coffey for the win, and Nick Moore had two assists as Pentucket edged Beverly, 3-2; Jack Hickey snapped a 1-1 tie with :58 left in the second period and Melrose beat Triton, 3-1 – and Tyler Brown pitched a shutout and Joe Kezerian broke a scoreless tie with a goal against Bob Lombardi as Melrose nipped Saugus, 2-0; No. 89 scored with 1:39 left to give S&S edged NH East, 2-1 – and Zwiercan capped a hat trick with 1:07 left to give S&S a 4-4 tie with the Cyclones, who got two goals from Matt Kapetanakis; Cam Curley pitched a shutout and JT Eason had 1-1-2 in Peabody’s 3-0 win over NH East – and Wil Bethuen scored with 2:34 left in the first period, 13 seconds after Kieran Lombard tallied as Peabody tied Dover, 2-2;
Neyman’s second goal of the game capped a 2-1-3 effort and North Andover got by Newburyport, 4-3; Cummings posted 1-1-2 in Newburyport’s 4-1 victory over NH East; Marc Ferullo and Frankie Ferrara both had 1-1-2 and Brandon Creador pitched a shutout in Winthrop’s 5-0 won over S&S; Mike Driscoll had the tying goal with 7:15 left and Nick Del Isola had 1-1-2 as North Reading pulled out a 3-3 tie with Cape Ann, which got 1-1-2 apiece from Seth Murray and Brenden Poliskey; and Evan McDonald assisted on three goals and Tyler Shaw scored two in Woburn’s 5-1 win over Saugus.
Agawam had a 2-1 week and the Wizards earned a win and a tie. Connor Cronin had two goals and an assist and Philippe Goulet-Martel two assists as Agawam wiped out a 3-0 first-period deficit and beat Lexington/Bedford, 3-2; Sam Ober’s second and third goals of the game came 22 seconds apart late and Cam Macri had two assists in a 3-2 win over Reading – and Dante Maribito wore the hat and had two assists and Bradley Kelleher 1-1-2 in Amesbury’s 6-4 win over Agawam, which got two goals from No. 8 and 1-1-2 from Cronin; Brianna Bermingham’s goal with 5:49 left turned out to be the winner when Kaitlyn Burt lost a shutout bid with 2:59 remaining as the Wizards edged Winchester, 2-1 – and Matt Garofoli scored with :18 left to give Reading a 2-2 tie with the Wizards, who got two assists from Charlotte Abrecht;
Perry posted four assists, Dutton wore the hat, Flanagan had 1-2-3, Manning scored twice, Comeau collected 1-1-2 and Hunt and McDowell had two assists apiece in Andover’s big win over Greater Lowell; Brendan Bunker pitched a shutout in goal and Justin McDonald scored the only goal needed with 4:17 left in the second period of Medford’s 2-0 victory over Wilmington; Jeremy Richard had 1-2-3 an d Jay Gallagher scored twice in Stoneham’s 5-1 win over North Andover; Tyler Gardiner wore the hat, Tyler Poulin scored twice and Matt Busconi had two assists in Watertown’s 6-2 win over Danvers, which got both goals from Steve Ganley; and Scribner pitched a shutout and Woodrow scored early in Marblehead’s 2-0 victory over North Andover.
Wilmington won twice and Masco had a win and a tie. Eric Steeves had 1-1-2 and Wilmington built a 3-0 lead and held off Wakefield, 3-2 – Zack and Alex Kane with 11—2 apiece in the comeback – and Steeves scored his second goal of the game with :22 left and Eric McNamara had two assists as Wilmington edged Pentucket, 3-2; Garrett Lafata’s fourth goal of the game came with 2:06 left, 2:57 after his third goal, as Masco nipped North Reading, 4-3 – and Heather King was in goal for Masco and Burns for Woburn in a 0-0 tie;
Lee scored early in the second period and Newton beat Burlington, 2-0 (coaches, can we have a shutout goalie’s name????); Nick Colangelo set up three goals and North Reading beat the Wizards, 5-2 – Haley Driscoll with 1-1-2 for the Wizards; Alex Kane scored both goals and Wakefield edged the Wizards, 2-1; Cam Anderson and Nick Merryman scored 40 seconds apart in a four-goal first period, with all the goals coming in a 4:35 span, and Sal Valenti lost a shutout with :15 left as Peabody beat Pentucket, 4-1; Ally Heffron pitched a shutout, Ariana Dembro snapped a 0-0 tie with 7:00 left and Kara Donati had 1-1-2 as the NS Vipers beat Peabody, 2-0; and Cam Cormier’s goal with 30 seconds left turned out to be the difference in Newburyport’s 2-1 decision over Arlington.
Andrew O’Connell wore the hat and had an assist, Ryan Smith turned those numbers around with 1-3-4 and Brendan Tarmey had 1-1-2 in Stoneham III’s 6-3 victory over the Blizzard, who got two goals from Nate Anderson and two assists from Nick Krol; Corey Wojewodzic posted 2-2-4, Caleb Reddick and Emmett O’Shea both also scored twice and Brittany had two assists in Lynn’s 8-0 handling of Triton; and Mike Gaeta had 1-2-3, Derek Supino scored twice and Mathieu Brigham had 1-1-2 in Lynnfield’s 5-3 win over Watertown, which got two goals from Evan Ricci.
Masco, S&S and Lexington/Bedford all had a win and a tie. Greg Knowles scored with 1:32 left to give Masco a 2-1 decision over Woburn – and Josh Anderson’s second of the game, with 1:47 left. Produced a 2-2 tie with Methuen; Hayden capped a hat trick with 3:13 left to give S&S a 3-2 win over Beverly, which got both goals from Chad Maraschalchi – and Cataldo (2-1-3) scored with 3:17 left and again with 1:05 remaining as S&S scored three goals in a 3:16 span and tied Burlington III White, 3-3, Robbie Ramirez with 1-1-2 and Travis Vozella two assists for Burlington; Cody Ward scored four goals and assisted on another, Dylan Smith had 2-1-3 and Connor Higgins two assists in Lexington/Bedford’s 7-2 win over Woburn – and Nick Hill scored with 4:25 left to give Wakefield a 2-2 tie with L/B;
Brandon Tarlow delivered 2-2-4, Derek True 2-1-3 and David Leff two assists in Triton’s 5-0 win over Andover; Dan Carney scored the winner with 7:29 left and William Mills had 1-1-2 in Wilmington’s 3-2 decision over Everett; Paul Schnebly (2-1-3) snapped a 4-4 tie with 6:55 left, Jake Ryan posted 1-2-3, Lindy Monteith and Dom Scitti 1-1-2 apiece and Cam Tripp two assists as Arlington scored three goals in 2:16 and beat Beverly, 7-4 – No. 8 with two assists in the loss; Austin Elmore delivered 2-2-4, Harrison Demeritt and Zach Sullivan had 2-1-3 apiece, Luke Bugler, Reilly Brown and Peter Pantellis all had 1-1-2 and Matt Bean collected two assists in Newburyport’s big win over Winchester; and A.J. Ernst had 2-1-3, No. 44 1-1-2 and Cam Segal two assists in Marblehead’s 5-3 victory over Wilmington, which got two assists apiece from Matt Gagnon and William Mills.
The Wizards and Medford both won twice and North Reading had a win and a tie. Ellen Marius scored all three goals and was set up for all of them by Andrea Uglietta and Christiania Wierzbicki as the Wizards beat Haverhill, 3-1 – and Marius posted 1-2-3 and Carmen Braceras and Allison Benedict both scored twice in a 6-3 triumph over Amesbury, which got two goals from Brian Thompson; Aidan McGoff’s second goal of the game snapped a 4-4 tie with 5:13 left, Gesualdi set up three goals and Martin scored two as Medford beat Peabody, 7-4, despite 2-1-3 by Aaron Blaisdell and two assists by Zachary Serino – and McGoff had 2-1-3 and Fiore and Breau shared the shutout in a 4-0 win over Melrose; Mike Finocchiaro wore the hat and had an assist in North Reading’s 5-2 win over Lynnfield – and Gene August’s second goal of the game, with :16 left, gave Winthrop a 4-4 tie with North Reading, which got two goals from Fincocchiaro, 1-1-2 from Erin Hunter and two assists from Adam Kirby;
Scottie Neenan wore the hat in Amesbury’s 4-2 win over Agawam, which got 1-1-2 from Alex Apgar; Peter Berube’s goal with 5:22 left in the second period was the difference, Gino Deloia had 1-1-2 and Kevin Hern two assists in Andover’s 4-3 victory over Salem; Jake Gansenberg wore the hat and also had three assists in Agawam’s 7-1 handling of Andover; Brett Kochanski finished off a hat trick with two rapid-fire goals in the third period and No. 30 had 1-1-2 in North Andover’s 4-2 win over Saugus, which got 1-1-2 from Kyle Brosseau; and Cam Wolbach scored five goals and Julia August had three assists as Pentucket got by Cape Ann, 7-6 despite a hat trick and an assist by Jameson Kamm.
Agawam won twice, with a pair of 3-0 shutouts. Robby Sheppard scored twice and Kia Castonguay was in goal in a win over Newburyport – and Kiernan Mackay had two assists and Ingrid Apgar was in the nets in the victory over Newton;
Katherena Racine pitched a shutout and Hannah Derosiers scored both goals in a 2:06 span of the first period as the Lady Freeze Blue beat Andover, 2-0; Joanna Harrod’s second goal of the game came with 3:48 left and gave the Lady Freeze White a 2-1 decision over Marblehead; Anthony DiFranco pitched a shutout, Pete Dominichella scored twice and Adam Deakin had 1-1-2 in Arlington’s 4-0 win over the Hollyhocks; Mike Grady’s goal with :31 left in the second period turned out to be the winner and Newton got goals from five different players and beat Stoneham, 5-3, despite a Joe Minotti hat trick; and Veronia Alois posted 1-2-3, Leon Parfenov scored twice, Jonathan Marotta had two assists and Matteo Napolitano pitched a shutout in Andover’s 5-0 win over Stoneham. – MIKE SHALIN, email@example.com
