Peewee - Week Ending March 9
WHITE DIVISIONS

Billy Henry and Chris Shea shared the shutout and Mark Dente scored both goals in  Reading’s 2-0 win over Arlington; Matt Piccirillo had two goals and two assists, Jackie Dennis collected four assists, Sam Eddy wore the hat, Anthony Lespasio had 1-2-3 and Mike McWeeney 1-1-2 in Lexington/Bedford’s 8-0 handling of Winchester; Alexandra Jones and Mitch Nekoroski shared the shutout and Robert Gravallese had two assists in Masco’s 3-0 win over Concord; Joe Strangie, Ryan Buchanan and Tyler Dustin all scored twice and Kyle White had two assists as Danvers beat Peabody, 6-3 – A.J. Couto with two goals in the loss; Eric Mercer delivered 2-1-3 and Melrose beat Peabody, 4-2 – Pat Ruotolo with two assists in the loss; Cam Farnham posted 2-1-3 and Chris Olsen pitched a shutout in Andover’s 5-0 win over Burlington; and Jake Rand had a goal and four assists, Harrison Murphy posted 1-2-3, Shawn Cavallaro scored twice, Tim Weinhold had 1-1-2 and Matt Gudas two assists in Concord’s 8-6 victory over Lexington/Bedford, which got 2-1-3 apiece from Piccirillo and Lespasio, 1-2-3 from Eddy and three assists from Dylan Meadows.

BLUE DIVISIONS

Oliver Jackson collected 2-1-3 in Newton’s 5-1 win over Reading; and Chris Cormier posted 2-1-3 and Cam Woodrow 1-1-2 in Marblehead’s 7-3 victory over NH East, which got 2-1-3 from Joe Belanger and 1-2-34 from Joe Richard.

RED DIVISIONS

Greater Lowell won twice. William O’Neil had a goal and an assists and Ross Webber two assists in a 3-1 win over Malden – and Brent Sullivan posted 1-2-3 and Drew Dearborn 1-1-2 in a 5-1 victory over Wakefield;

Zach Walker capped a hat trick with 6:48 left to give Andover a 3-2 decision over the Cyclones; Tyler Trainor had 2-2-4, Bobby Barry had 2-1-3, CJ Jerry had 1-1-2 and James McCoy lost a shutout on Dylan Smith’s goal nine seconds into the third period of the Blizzard’s 6-1 win over Burlington; Sarah Lizotte scored twice and the Wizards beat North Andover, 3-1; Paul Russo collected 2-1-3, Brendan Colton had 1-1-2 and Bill McNamara had two assists as the Cyclones a 6-0 win over Lynn; Jak Gingras scored with 3:28 left and Austin O’Neal followed with 1:20 remaining as Wilmington rallied for a 2-1 win over North Andover; Dan Murphy pitched a shutout and Payson Cahill and Adam McElroy scored 1:16 apart late in the second period as Newburyport beat Lexington/Bedford, 2-0; and Covino scored twice and Dube and Morretti both had two assists as S&S beat Wakefield, 5-2.

SILVER DIVISIONS

Watertown won twice. Kyle Rooney delivered a natural hat trick, Joe Kelland had a goal and two assists, Clem Aeppli scored twice, Anthony Forman and James Garbier both had two assists and Zachery Wright pitched a shutout in a 6-0 win over Lynnfield – and Kelland had 1-1-2 in a 3-1 victory over Danvers;

DeSimone capped a hat trick with 1:25 left to give Saugus a 3-2 win over Peabody, which got two assists from Hill; C.J. Foti scored with 1:25 left and K.C. Coneeny (1-1-2) followed with :40 on the clock as Tewksbury pulled out a 3-2 win over Lexington/Bedford, which got 1-1-2 from Connor Murphy and two assists from Jennifer Maher;  Trembley (1-2-3) snapped a 1-1 tie with 6:42 left and Lynn field stopped Arlington, 3-1;  Sean Brennan had 2-2-4 and Ian Kennedy also scored twice in Cape Ann’s 5-3 win over Lexington/Bedford, which got two goals from Josh Carruthers; No. 12 scored with 2:02 left to give Masco a 2-1 win over Tewksbury; and Hennessey’s second goal of the game, with 5:17 left, produced the tie and Scholds had two assists as Peabody pulled out a 3-3 tie with Wilmington, which got two goals from Tom Thompson.

GOLD DIVISIONS

The Wizards won a pair of 1-0 games, Newton also won twice and Andover had a win and a tie. Mollie Millett and Lindsey O’Connell shared both shutouts for the Wizards -- Hannah Rosenberger scoring midway through the first period as the Wizards edged S&S, and Emily Lissner scoring the only goal in the victory over North Reading; Rory Casey had two goals and an assist, John Grady a goal and two assists and Carson Taraoka added 1-1-2 in Newton’s 5-2 win over Marblehead – and No. 18 had the winner with 1:28 left and Sera posted 1-1-2 in a 3-2 win over Agawam; Walter Pappas scored his fourth goal of the game with 8:17 left and Alex Iudice had two assists as Andover edged Greater Lowell, 5-4, despite 1-1-2 apiece by Nolan Leblanc and Mat McKinnon – and Lebalnc’s second goal of the game tied it with 3:20 left and Dan Driscoll had 1-1-2 as Greater Lowell pulled out a 3-3 tie with Andover;

Mike Gately pitched a shutout, Donnie Kenniston scored all three goals and Mark O’Toole had two assists in Lynn’s 3-0 victory over Marblehead; and Farmer posted 2-2-4, Delvento and Giliver both also scored twice and Perry had two assists in Marblehead’s 7-0 win over Winchester.

GREEN DIVISIONS

Arlington and the Blizzard both won twice. Joe Sweeney had the winner with 1:49 left, Lucas Hanley had 1-1-2 and Nick Sullivan in Arlington’s 4-3 decision over Wilmington, which got two goals from Joe Giroux – and Mahoney scored the winner, Sweeney had 1-1-2 and Hanley two assists as Arlington rallied from a 2-0 deficit and edged Wakefield, 3-2 – Joe Porter with both goals in the loss; Mike Rich had 2-1-3 as the Blizzard beat Haverhill, 3-1 – and Pantinis had 1-2-3, Leone scored twice and Nickerson and Crowley both had two assists in a 6-0 win over Marblehead;
Max Paraskevas wore the hat, Mellisa Baumgartner had 1-2-3, Tom Surabian set up three goals and Joey Campagna had 1-1-2 in Burlington’s 7-2 win over Danvers; Dober’s second goal of the game with 4:32 was followed by Fink with 1:02 left as Newton pulled out a 3-3 tie with Reading; Charlie Hesser’s second of the game, with 2:43 left, was the winner and Jeff Lundquist had two assists as Newburyport edged Cape Ann, 3-2; McCloskey had the winner with :19 left and Feola tallied 1-1-2 in Medford’s 3-2 win over North Andover, which got both goals from Steve Sarrouf; Kyle Zabroski capped a two-goal third period rally with 3:57 left to give Saugus a 2-2 tie with Wakefield; and Brandon Zanni’s goal 51 seconds in to the third period proved to be the winner and Anthony Costa had 2-1-3 as Lynnfield edged Amesbury, 4-3, despite 2-1-3 by Drew Beaupre.

GRAY DIVISIONS

Caroline DeTore had two goals and two assists, Bonnie Connell wore the hat, Monica Chen had 1-2-3 and Taylor Tedford and Chloe Aiken both posted two assists as the Wizards handled Arlington, 9-1; Morash pitched a shutout and Brogna scored in the second period of Woburn’s 1-0 win over Pentucket; Scott Atwood scored early in the second period and Jonathan Brock pitched a shutout in Pentucket’s 1-0 victory over Tewksbury; David Caputo posted 2-1-3, Jason Begley had 1-2-3, Anthony Pasciuto and Derek Michaud both also scored twice and Andrew McCourt and Richie Santosuosso both had two assists in Masco’s 8-2 win over North Reading, which got two assists from No. 1; Joe Henry pitched a shutout and No. 15 scored twice as Melrose beat Peabody, 3-0; and Jack Mahoney scored with :15 left to give Lexington/Bedford a 2-1 win over Newton.
