Lynnfield won twice. Matt Filipe scored twice in a 5-1 victory over Wakefield – and Filipe scored the game’s only goal and Robbie DeBonis pitched a shutout in a 1-0 triumph over Haverhill;
Bobby Keane scored with 4:47 left to give Winchester a 4-3 decision over Lexington/Bedford, which got two assists from Brendan Flynn; and Mark Brazell scored twice in Lynn’s 3-1 victory over Andover.
North Reading, Newburyport and Cape Ann all won twice. Griffin Paine scored twice and Justin Bruzzese had a goal and an assist in North Reading’s 6-3 win over Pentucket, which got two goals from Joey Auterio and 1-1-2 from Nick Moore – and No. 4 and Chris Nadeau scored 1:22 apart early in a 2-1 decision over Woburn; Peter Blangiardi posted 2-1-3 and Tyson Gudaitis 1-2-3 in Newburyport’s 4-2 win over Tewksbury – and Brendan Barraclough wore the hat and had an assist, Pat Bouddrea had 2-2-4 and Ian Cummings three assists in a 6-3 win over S&S, which got 1-1-2 from Maercklein; Jared Favazza scored four goals and assisted on another, Brenden Poliskey also wore the hat and Jack Nicastro had three assists in Cape Ann’s big win over Peabody – and Nicastro had 2-1-3, Kyle Nelson 1-2-3, Seth Murray also scored twice, Alex Enes had 1-1-2 and Derek Morris pitched a shutout in an 8-0 handling of Melrose;
Pat Todisco wore the hat, Alex Anzuoni set up three goals, Zack Deeb scored twice in the first period and Jonathan Griffiths had two assists in Winthrop’s 6-3 win over the Cyclones, who got 2-1-3 from Tom Avtgis, 1-1-2 from Grant Callanan and two assists from Nick Bertos; Nick Querci scored the tying goal with :12 left, Kyle Neyman had 2-1-3 and Pat Agri two assists as North Andover pulled out a 4-4 tie with S&S, which got a hat trick from Kzta, 1-2-3 from Morretti and three assists from Springthorpe; Jack Hickey wore the hat and had an assist and Zachary Phipps delivered 2-1-3 as Melrose beat Stoneham, 7-2 – Evan MacHenry with both goals in the loss; Adam Harrington wore the hat and Callanan had 1-1-2 as the Cyclones beat Saugus, 5-2; Andrew McGrath scored for Triton and No. 21 for Beverly in the first period of a 1-1 tie; and Zach Coffey wore the hat, Moore and Will Duggan both had 2-1-3 and Kyle Thing posted three assists in Pentucket’s 8-3 win over North Andover, which got two goals from Neyman.
The Wizards won twice. Katy Turner (1-1-2) scored with 8:16 left and Jessie Jacques followed 56 seconds later to produce a 3-1 win over Wilmington – and Jack McGowan (1-1-2) scored the winner with :26 left, Cam Snow had three assists, Kyle Ferguson scored twice and Teddy Locke posted 1-1-2 as Winchester nipped Andover, 5-4 – Sarestinian with 2-1-3 in the loss; Troy Flemming wore the hat and had an assist as Danvers beat Lexington/Bedford, 6-1; Kyle Fay had the winner with 10:47 left, Kyle Ash posted 2-1-3 and Devin Conroy 1-2-3 in Reading’s 5-4 decision over Stoneham; Sean Hanlon’s second goal of the game, with 5:56 left, gave Agawam a 4-3 win over Danvers, which got two goals from Caitlin McBride; and Tyler Gardiner had a goal and four assists, Tyler Poulin wore the hat and had an assist, Emily Loprete posted 1-3-4 and Don McLaughlin 2-1-3 in Watertown’s 9-1 handling of Methuen.
Tewksbury and Newburyport both posted a win and a tie. Duarte had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over Newton – and Freehill scored with 6:13 left to answer a goal by No. 42 and give the Wizards a 1-1 tie with Tewksbury; Olivia Mombello scored two goals in the first period, Zack Lennon had 1-1-2 and Matt Archer two assists in Newburyport’s 4-1 win over Wakefield – and Garcia scored with 10:16 left to answer a Josh Myers goal and give Woburn a 1-1 tie with Newburyport;
Nick Howard pitched a shutout and Joe Plummer scored the game’s only goal with 4:10 left in the second period of Burlington’s 1-0 win over Wakefield; Max Whitmyer’s second goal of the game, with 5:47 left, gave Pentucket a 3-2 decision over Wilmington, which got 1-1-2 apiece from Eric McNamara and Eric Steeves; Nick Merryman and Brandon DeBeradinis scored in the second period of Peabody’s 2-1 victory over Andover; Jory Marini-Barry scored two goals in a 1:45 span as Haverhill beat the Wizards, 6-4 – Kelsey Ryan with 1-1-2 in the loss; No. 50 (1-1-2) snapped a 2-2 tie with 4:06 left and Enes scored twice in Cape Ann’s 4-2 win over North Reading; and Ryan Hood scored two goals in the last minute and Tom Houston also scored twice in Arlington’s 4-2 win over Masco.
Triton had a win and a tie. Malcolm Ogden scored with :46 left and Sidney Sheerin followed at the :12 mark to give Triton a 3-2 decision over Lynnfield, which got both goals from Derek Supino – and Evan Ricci scored with 4:10 left, again 1:03 later and Brian Peterson’s second goal of the game tied it with 2:16 left as Watertown rallied for a 4-4 tie with Triton, which got a hat trick and an assist from Ogden;
Mike Zampanti had two goals and an assist, Jake Letterie also scored twice and Noah Hodgkins two assists in Winthrop’s 6-4 win over the Blizzard, who got two goals from Nate Anderson; Pat Ritchie wore the hat, James Herman had 1-2-3 and Dan Gemmell and Adam Wright both posted 1-1-2 in Andover’s 7-4 victory over North Andover, which got two goals from Seamus Lambert; Chris Colbert wore the hat and No. 14 had 2-1-3 in Stoneham’s 7-1 win over Winthrop; Brendan Pattersonhad 1-3-4 and Joe Cucuzza wore the hat as Saugus beat Stoneham, 7-0; Caleb Reddick scored twice in Lynn’s 3-1 win over the Blizzard; and Samaha’s second goal of the game, with 1:34 left, gave Newton a 3-3 tie with Danvers, which got 2-1-3 from T.J. Pat McCune had 2-1-3, Bryan McCarron posted 1-2-3 and Andrew Griffin 1-1-2 in Arlington’s 8-3 victory over Woburn, which got all three goals from No. 12; Max Reid wore the hat, Cam Rogers had 2-1-3 and Zach Sullivan three assists in Newburyport’s 7-0 handling of Masco; Sullivan had 1-1-2 and TJ Ford lost a shutout with 3:28 left in Burlington’s 3-1 victory over Andover; Phil Dussault snapped a 1-1 tie with 4:34 left and Methuen scored four goals in a 4:25 span late in a 4-1 win over Burlington; Connor Higgins had 2-2-4, Cody Ward and Parker Sutton both wore hats and Jack Neely had two assists in Lexington/Bedford’s 7-0 handling of S&S; Bartol’s goal with 5:29 left proved to be the winner and O’eil had two assists in Everett/Revere’s 5-4 decision over Triton, which got two goals from Dan Leff; and Tim Rascher scored four goals, Mark DeVincent and Zach Salamone both scored twice and Matt Mercurio had two assists in Wakefield’s 8-5 victory over Beverly, which got a hat trick from Chad Mareschalchi and 1-2-3 from Bryce Pietrini.
North Reading won twice. Brian Cotter scored twice, Cam Piscatelli set up two goals and Nick Ponte pitched a shutout in a 3-0 victory over Melrose – and Joe Ferri (1-1-2) snapped a 2-2 tie with 7:19 left and North Reading beat Peabody, 4-2;
James Tuner wore the hat and had an assist, Austin Waring posted 2-1-3 and Mike Gillis and Jake Gansenberg both also scored twice in Agawam’s big win over Amesbury; Gene August delivered 2-1-3 and Ryan Duyon 1-2-3 in Winthrop’s 4-2 victory over Reading, which got 1-1-2 from Joe Green; Sheehey scored twice and O’Brien and McCormack both had 1-1-2 in Medford’s 5-1 win over Saugus; Blaisdell wore the hat and had an assist and Lapham posted 2-1-3 in Peabody’s 7-4 win over Saugus, which got two goals from Primo and 1-1-2 from Bresseau; Owen MacEachern delivered 2-1-3 and Chris Medugno 1-1-2 in Tewksbury’s 4-1 victory Lynnfield; Nick Boyd and Ben Zargaj both had 1-2-3 and Nick Arsenault scored twice in Pentucket’s 5-0 win over Reading; Matt Bowers pitched a shutout and No. 6 scored all three goals as Melrose beat North Andover, 3-0; Gino Deloia scored with 1:15 left and again at :22 for the tie, Connor Pope had 1-1-2 and Mike Biddle two assists as Andover staged a three-goal rally to tie Salem, 4-4 – Brendan Madigan with three assists and James McKee two goals for Salem; and Jameson Kamm (1-1-2) scored with 1:15 left to give Cape Ann a 3-3 tie with Lexington/Bedford, which got all three goals from Bradley Kelly.
