Nick Moheban wore the hat, Alexander Duncan set up three goals, Luke McQuaide scored two and William Winship had two assists in Andover’s 6-2 win over Pentucket; Barrett Towns and Daniel Leff both scored twice and Twons added an assist as Triton stopped Reading, 6-0; Charles Masse pitched a shutout in goal and Anthony D’Amato posted 2-1-3 in Beverly’s 3-0 victory over Medford; San Costanza erupted for four goals and two assists, Ethan Brennan added 1-2-3 and Diego Corona 1-1-2 in Cape Ann’s 7-2 win over Lynnfield, which got 1-1-2 from Joe Mack; Mike Hays had the winner with 3:43 left, Kelly Browne posted 1-1-2 and Burlington overcame a Kevin Murphy hat trick and edged Newburyport, 6-5; Harrett Hoag’s second of the game snapped a 4-4 tie with 5:34 remaining, Jamie Rinklin capped a hat trick with two goals later and Brendan Crehan had two assists as Reading beat Andover, 7-4, despite four goals by Tom Brassil; and Mike Sarnacchiaro capped a 5-1-6 explosion with the tying goal with 5:01 remaining to give Saugus a 6-6 tie with Everett/Revere, which got 1-1-2 apiece from Anderson, MacLaughlin and Besseler.

Catherine McVey’s second of the game, with 7:15 left, proved to be the winner and Kyle Lombardo and Mitch Andrea both had a goal and an assist as Tewksbury edged Woburn, 5-4 – Brett Paolillo with two goals in the loss; Tom Ross wore the hat, Pat Curtin scored twice and Donald Alois pitched a shutout in goal as Andover III beat Andover IV, 6-0; Jack Poska scored with 2:32 left to give S&S a 3-3 tie with Reading, which got two goals from Ryan Driscoll; Josh Kim and Eugene Yoon scored 19 seconds apart in the last two minutes for the win and Xavier Marcoux had 1-1-2 as Lexington/Bedford beat Saugus, 5-3 – Nolan Whitlock with two goals in the loss; Walker scored five goals and Haverhill scored five times in the third period and beat Woburn, 8-6, despite a Brian Shaughnessey hat trick; and Filippo Scarfo and Trevor Gallo both wore hats, David Gaudin had 1-2-3 and Jack Hurton 1-1-2 in Masco’s 8-1 handling of Triton.

William Leary had two goals and an assist, Kiernan Stone a goal and two assists and Derek Krantz 1-1-2 in Newton’s 5-2 win over Winchester, which got 1-1-2 from Steven Osborne; Briane Taylor delivered two goals and two assists, Caroline Ingram 2-1-3 and Allison Wright 1-1-2 as the Andover Girls scored a big win over Greater Lowell; McKinley Karpa snapped a scoreless tie and Agawam beat Masco, 3-0 (coaches, a goalie’s name???); Mollie Sullivan wore the hat, Jacob Grossi-Hogg scored twice and Ethan Coir had two assists in Newburyport’s 5-1 win over Stoneham; and Cooper Marengi scored twice and Lynnfield stopped Amesbury, 3-1.

Sean Loescher scored four goals and assisted on another and Mike DeFillipo had two goals and an assist in Peabody’s 7-1 victory over Masco; Billy McCann and Dylan Babcock both scored twice and Brian Carrabes had 1-1-2 in North Reading’s 8-3 win over Tewksbury; Joel Kochanski capped a 2-1-3 effort with a goal with 11:30 left that gave North Andover a 4-4 tie with Wilmington; Jake Kivekas capped a hat trick with :56 left to give Agawam a 3-3 tie with Cape Ann, which got two goals from Ryan Webb, Colton LaCouture wore the hat, Pat Vetter had 2-1-3 and Cam Knight 1-2-3 as the Blizzard snowed North Andover, 7-0; and David Barry’s goal early in the second period turned out to be the winner in Winthrop’s 4-2 triumph over Marblehead, which got 1-1-2 from Lauren Perry.

Tim McCarthy’s fourth goal of the game, with 5:21 left, gave Beverly a 4-4 tie with Newton, which got a hat trick from Hannah Freehill; and Tom Malinson/King scored twice and Marblehead beat Methuen, 3-1.
