Lexington/Bedford posted a win and a tie. Matt Piccirillo and Anthony Lespasio (1-1-2) scored 32 seconds apart in the third period, Sam Eddy had two goals and an assist and Jackie Dennis a goal and two assists in a 5-4 decision over Masco, which got two goals from Jimmy Currier – and Bothelo’s second of the game, with 6:58 left, paved the way for McGuire to score the tying goal 23 seconds later and O’Donnell posted 2-1-3 as Melrose pulled out a 5-5 tie with Lexington/Bedford, which got four goals from Eddy and two assists from Lespasio;
Bryan Hunt pitched a shutout and Sean Gavin scored twice in Burlington’s 3-0 victory over Arlington; Ben Allen delivered 2-1-3 and Billy Staffiere had two assists in Stoneham’s 4-2 win over Concord; Cam Farnham scored twice in Andover’s 4-1 victory over Dover; Luke Tremblay pitched a shutout and Seth Coiley scored early in Arlington’s 3-0 win over the Maine Gladiators; and Evan Gosselin scored with 1:50 left to give the Gladiators a 3-3 tie with Reading, which got 1-1-2 from David Spry.
Oliver Jackson and Alex Joyce both had a goal and an assist and Ben Ethier pitched a shutout to lead Newton to a 3-0 victory over Saugus.
Wil Faulkener scored with :24 left to give the Cyclones a 3-2 decision over Haverhill; Steve Ricker snapped a 1-1 tie with 2:24 left and Concord beat Andover, 3-1; Matt Diorio had the tying goal with 6:48 left and Austin O’Neal delivered 1-1-2 as Wilmington pulled out a 3-3 tie with the Blizzard, who got two goals from Eric Young; Colin Horrigan scored with 4:31 left to gibe Wakefield a 3-2 decision over Medford, which got both goals from DiMagistris and two assists from Ramasci; Will Rennie (1-1-2) had the winner with 5:27 left and Kyle Hanson posted 1-1-2 as Malden edged Greater Lowell, 4-3, despite 2-1-3 by Brent Sullivan and 1-1-2 by Ross Webber; and Corey Corcoran pitched a shutout, Webber and Sullivan both had 1-1-2 and Craig Harper set up two goals in Lowell’s 3-0 win over S&S.

Nick Valdario wore the hat and had an assist and Sebastien Sidney and Pat Hallowell both posted a goal and two assists in Winchester’s 8-0 handling of Stoneham; Emily Lissner wore the hat and the Wizards beat North Reading, 4-1; and Amanda Charlton’s goal 55 seconds into the third period turned out to be the winner in Lexington/Bedford’s 5-2 win over Marblehead, which got 1-1-2 from No. 71.
Chris Smith erupted for seven goals to power Wakefield to a 9-3 win over Danvers, which got a hat trick from Brian Daly and two assists from Jake Allain; Jack Doherty posted 2-2-4, Matt Shea 2-1-3 and Jake Towski two assists as Saugus beat Burlington, 7-1; Ben Clifford wore the hat, Chris Zielinski pitched a shutout and Tyler Burdick had two assists in Amesbury’s 3-0 win over North Andover; Curcuru’s 1-1-2 helped Cape Ann past Marblehead, 3-1; Tyler Pargenta and Jon Psehoyas both had 1-1-2 and Haverhill beat North Reading, 7-4 – Mike Chase with two goals in the loss; and Anthony Costa wore the hat in Lynnfield’s 5-1 win over Wilmington.
Mike Tremblay and Adam Grill both scored their second goals of the game 26 seconds apart late to give Arlington a 5-4 decision over Newton; Jonathan Tammaro’s 1-1-2 helped Masco beat Lexington/Bedford Y, 5-2; George’s second of the game, with 1:20 left, was the winner, Castano also scored twice and Essigham set up a pair in Woburn’s 5-4 win over Tewksbury; Matt St. Clair’s goal with 7:43 left turned out to be the winner as Pentucket stopped Andover, 3-1; and Ryan Cobb had 2-1-3 and Colby Harlow 1-1-2 in Lexington Bedford IV’s 6-4 victory over Peabody. – MIKE SHALIN, email@example.com
