Melrose, the Maine Gladiators and Peabody all won twice. Zack Mercer wore the hat and had an assist, Luke Amato posted two goals and two assists, Conlin Healy and Jake Witkowki both had a goal and an assist and Chris Brown added two assists as Melrose beat Medford, 8-0 – and Mercer scored twice in a 3-1 victory over Masco; Williams tallied twice, McGuire had 1-1-2 and Emerson two assists as the Gladiators beat Salem, 4-2 – and Emerson and Hill scored 1:54 apart in the second period of a 4-3 decision over Andover, which got two goals from Costaldo and two assists from Farnham; Jordan Manthorne and Bryan Uva both scored twice in Peabody’s 7-2 win over Lexington/Bedford, which got 1-1-2 from Dylan Meadows – and Derek DeMild delivered 1-2-3 and Nick Manthorne two assists in a 5-1 victory over Greater Lowell;
Ross Webber (1-1-2) scored the winner with :22 left and Brent Sullivan also had 1-1-2 as Greater Lowell got by Pentucket, 4-3, despite two goals by Mike Kutcher and two assists by Rich Zagarella; Jake Barnacle scored the tying goal with :09 left, Connor Donohue had 2-2-4, Alex Hamilton 1-2-3 and Dylan Yameen two assists as Salem pulled out a 6-6 tie with Wilmington, which got a hat trick from Jacob Russell, 1-1-2 from Kevin Meuse and two assists from Luke Foley; Spry wore the hat and O’Leary had two assists in Reading’s 5-1 win over Arlington; Andy Covino scored with 8:40 left to give S&S a 2-2 tie with Wakefield, which got 1-1-2 from Andrew Robertson; Nick DiChirico had 1-1-2 and John Bartlett two assists in Methuen’s 4-2 victory over S&S; and Mike McNeeney wore the hat, Matt Piccirillo and Anthony Lespasio both had 2-1-3, Meadows collected 1-1-2 and Tommy Bartkus two assists in Lexington/Bedford’s 9-3 win over Pentucket, which got 1-1-2 from Connor Stevens and two assists from Kutcher.
Robbie Petroccione (1-1-2) had the winner with 1:26 left and Joe Strangie posted 1-2-3 as Danvers got by NH East, 5-4, despite 2-1-3 by Arsenault and two assists by No. 16; Sweeney set up two goals and Saugus stopped Wilmington, 3-1; Anders Klumpp (1-1-2) scored with 1:39 left to give Newton a 2-2 tie with Newburyport (1-1-2 for No. 36); Greg Cooke (two goals) and No. 10 scored 1:03 apart early and NH East beat the Blizzard, 4-1; Dustin Lubinger scored with :48 left to give Methuen a 30-3 tie with Masco, which got two goals from Charlie May; Matt Corbelle scored with 3:06 remaining to give Triton a 2-2 tie with Biddeford; Bachini had two of Beverly’s four first-period goals in a 4-3 win over Cape Ann, which got two goals from Crehan; and Damian Dell’Anno scored with 6:26 left and Reading tallied twice in the third period to edge North Andover, 2-1.
Tewksbury won twice. Adam Denn collected 1-3-4, Zach Strahan wore the hat and Shane Silvia had 1-1-2 in a 5-3 win over Masco – and Matt Lucia had what proved to be the winner with 6:21 left, Strahan had 1-1-2 and Joey Boerman lost a shutout with 2:57 left in a 2-1 win over Lexington/Bedford;
Merullo wore the ha and had an assist, scoring twice in 35 seconds, No. 16 posted 2-2-4, Day 1-3-4, Driscoll 2-1-3, Brandano three assists, Smith 1-1-2 and Mahoney two setups in North Reading’s big win over Burlington, which got two goals from Nikolopulous; Cam Comerford scored twice and Adam Clary had 1-1-2 in Concord’s 3-1 victory over Wilmington; Zach Walker wore the hat and had two assists, Shawn Moody delivered 1-3-4 and Derrick Yau, Kyle Lawrence and Connor McCullough all had 2-1-3 in Andover’s 12-4 win over Beverly, which got 2-2-4 from No. 16 and 2-1-3 from Brian Williams; Amanda Palumbo collected 2-1-3 and Jessica Thulin 1-1-2 as the Wizards beat Winchester, 8-0; No. 10 had 1-2-3, Jon Dalba and Daryl Cahill and No. 30 all scored twice and Kyle Hanson had 1-1-2 in Malden’s 9-1 handling of Melrose; Jon Andrews scored four goals and assisted on another and Cam Busta posted 1-2-3 in Methuen’s 6-1 win over Wakefield; McDonough had 2-1-3, McGough also scored twice and Carmody had 1-1-2 in Lynn’s 7-3 win over Reading; Lyndon Ambrefe scored twice and Jake Giacchino had two assists in Masco’s 7-0 victory over Melrose, Jake Anemoduris set up four goals, Steve Kehoe had 1-2-3, Mike Halpin, Jarred Penny and Brendan Regan all scored twice and Connor Duffy had two assists in Stoneham’s big win over Haverhill; and Corcoran’s second of the game, with 6:18 left, was the winner and Boehner also scored twice as Lynnfield edged Newton, 4-3, despite two goals by Funkashi.
In a game from the previous week, Matt Kiernan posted 2-1-3, Jennifer Maher also scored twice and Collin Sargis, Eli Ruben, Andrew Walsh and Grace Doxey all had 1-1-2 in Lexington/Bedford’s big win over Melrose.
Peabody won twice. Porfido had 2-1-3, Hennessey 1-1-2 and Cravotta two assists in a 6-2 victory over Medford, which got both goals from Feola – and McHubh posted 1-2-3 and Salalayko twice in a 4-1 triumph over Lexington/Bedford;
Matt Powers capped a hat trick with the winning goal with one second left and Chris Smith set up three goals as Wakefield got by Medford, 4-3; Jack Harrington capped a hat trick with the winner with 1:44 remaining and Cam Keenan and Jack Reilly both had two assists in Andover’s 4-3 decision over Stoneham, which got 1-1-2 from Toussaint and two assists from Whooley; Toussaint scored all Stoneham three goals and snapped a 1-1 tie with 3:31 left, while Bragalone had two assists as Stoneham nipped Amesbury, 3-1; O’Toole and LaSalle both posted 1-2-3 and Finnigan had 1-1-2 in Lynn’s 7-2 victory over Reading; Dan Eruzione scored two goals and assisted on three others and Niall Fitzgerald also scored twice in Winthrop’s 7-2 win over Cape Ann; and Delvecchio and Campbell both wore hats, Delvecchio added an assist, Cardoba delivered 2-1-3, Flett 1-2-3 and O’Connor two assists in Everett/Revere’s big win over Marblehead.
In a game from the previous week, Josh Berenson came through with 2-1-3 and Lexington/Bedford beat Medford, 5-0.
Danny McCarthy set up two goals and Stoneham bested Burlington, 3-0; Connor Crowley and James Garbino******* scored 2:02 apart in the third period and Joe Kelland had 1-1-2 in Watertown’s 4-2 victory over Arlington; Faulkingham’s last-second goal gave Woburn a 3-3 tie with Methuen, which got 1-1-2 from Galloway; Ryan Buchanan wore the hat and Ryan Cassidy scored twice as Danvers beat S&S, 7-1; R. Mulkerin’s second of the game, with 10:05 left, proved to be the winner as Agawam edged Andover, 3-2; and Anthony Dalton wore the hat and Matt St. Clair had 1-1-2 in Pentucket’s 5-1 win over Lexington/Bedford.
In a game from the previous week, R. Mulkerin wore the hat, Clark had 1-2-3 and Scimone scored twice in Agawam’s 7-1 handling of Lynn.
Milone pitched a shutout and Brown scored twice in Methuen’s 3-0 victory over Lexington/Bedford; No. 9 scored with 1:11 left and No. 77 followed with just :17 on the clock to give Woburn a 2-2 tie with Tewksbury; Josh Lee’s goal with 4:49 left in the first period turned out to be the winner in Lexington/Bedford’s 3-1 victory over Peabody; and Freddy Pendleton followed a goal by Alyssa Post with two scores in 16 seconds late in the first period and Justin Lacau set up a pair as Tewksbury nipped Masco, 3-2; Mitch Waterhouse scored twice and Jared Pelham had 1-1-2 in North Reading’s 4-1 win over Amesbury, Schickling posted 2-1-3, Aponas also scored twice, Renzulli and Seward both had 1-1-2 and Shea two assists in Triton’s 7-0 win over Cape Ann; Max Russell had 1-2-3 and Jesse Caisse scored twice in Greater Lowell’s 5-0 victory over Peabody, Duggan Delano scored twice and the Wizards stopped Newton, 4-0; and Kyle Zabroski (1-1-2) and Jake Towski scored late for the tie and Matt Shea had 1-2-3 as Saugus pulled out a 5-5 tie with Winthrop, which got four goals from John Delsolio, 1-2-3 from Steve Goddard and two assists from Anthony Gallo.
Wilson Lautner scored both goals and Marblehead beat the Wizards, 2-0; Psehoyas scored with 2:11 to tie it and Ahern with1:14 to win it, Paquette had a natural hat trick in the third period and Andrews added 1-1-2 as Haverhill pulled out a 7-6 victory over Danvers, which got 2-1-3 from Joey Cass, 1-2-3 from Chris Weinent and two goals from Brian Daly; Iudice posted 1-2-3, Sousa scored twice and Tully had two assists in Andover’s 4-2 victory over Marblehead; and Kevin Dober scored four goals and assisted on two others, Angus O’Rourke set up three goals and Paul Pudge two in Newton’s 8-1 win over Arlington. – MIKE SHALIN, email@example.com
